  1. Jep, but the knob also not working (although it's supposed to in sim) may be indicative of what the problem is... I don't want the knob per se "fixed" to the incorrect behaviour either, I've never used it before tbh. The trimmer is so much more convenient anyways.
  2. Your memory is quite fine, you are correct. :)
  3. see here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2692330&postcount=85
  4. click
  5. The knob turns, but doesn't move the indicator either.
  6. 2.0.1 Update 1: I can't control the green heading indicator using the trimmer when AP is engaged. This together with the not implemented "12 o'clock reset" makes the AP unusable (plane will simply fly to whatever the green indicator is set at mission start).
  7. Right, thanks for the tip.
  8. Same here. Just learned it the hard way (damn canopy lock lever... ;) )

  10. No, dim is just not implemented yet.
  11. in the meantime you can always start the instant actions via the "Missions" tab. Not quite as convenient, but not really a big deal either.
  12. Well there are a couple of possibilities. Maybe there is a lock mechanism that holds the canopy in place when it's open and by pulling back you release that lock. Then the canopy comes down by its own weight - probaby with some dampening (I'm thinking of something like this: ;) ) But I'm just guessing here. Azrayen seems to know more about the real function. :)

    DCS Question

Once the Caucasus map is integrated into DCS 2.0 you won't need to buy anything to play it. DCS 1.5 is basically DCS 2.0 without the multi- map support. For now 2.0 only works with Nevada, which is paid DLC.
  14. The only little bug I can find is this: Canopy half open. When I put the lever in the locked position and then click the strut, it becomes inoperable. Even if I pull the lever back to the unlocked position after that the strut remains unclickable. Only the keyboard command gets me out of that situation.
  15. The way I do it: To close: - Canopy lever => back (DESCENTE) = half open - Strut => click = closed - Canopy lever => forward (VERROUILLAGE) = locked To open: - Canopy lever => middle = unlocked (OUVERTURE) - Canopy handle => click = full open OR - Canopy lever => middle = unlocked (OUVERTURE) - Strut => click = half open - Canopy handle => click = full open
  16. Again, you are in 1.5, right? I think the logic in Nevada is still an older, slightly different version.
  17. Question: will you release these radar updates gradually or all in one bundle. For example will radar warmup be enabled in the next updade? Thx
  18. Afaik it's not in 2.0 yet. Only in 1.5.3 for now.
  19. Got it, thx for clarifying. :)
  20. You can't, you have to wait for the next 2.0 patch (which should come soon).
  21. Jep having the same problem.
  22. Yes you can. Pull the lock handle back for first stage, then press the little "strut" that holds the canopy open to fully close. Then lock handle forward to lock. :)
  23. As I explained here, the triangle is not supposed to point to the waypoint. (It did in the first iteration of the HUD but that was corrected recently)
  24. Yep when autopilot is engaged the trimmer buttons control the HSI heading bug, not the aircraft's trim. Disengage AP to trim your plane. => Correct behaviour.
  25. The triangle no longer shows the heading to the waypoint, but to the green heading bug in the HSI. Afaik this is correct behaviour. Just fly towards the "house" symbol to be on course to the waypoint.
