  1. Another one with 10 randomized missions on the PG map: Same deal, the medevac helo's can be swapped for any other aircraft type, just keep the group/unit names the same! https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=4472430&postcount=15
  2. [COOP2+] Mi-8MTV2 Medevac Shiraz Complete 10 Randomized Medevac missions with the Mi-8 in a counter-insurgency style battlefield! Ka-50 and SA342 slots for escort if you have friends! Features: - CO-OP 2x Mi8 2x Ka50 2x SA342 (One Mi8 slot required for mission). - SP with one Medevac Mi-8 but will be challenging. - Randomized threats and missions. *Thanks to Sithis for supplying the trigger structure!*
  3. Of course, you can simply open this mission in the ME and change the Mi8 to a Gaz, just keep the group name and pilot name the same "MEDEVAC1" etc and the triggers will still work. :D
  4. [COOP2] Mi-8MTV2 Medevac Aleppo [COOP2] Mi-8MTV2 Medevac Aleppo DOWNLOAD: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3312028/ Explore Northern Syria by Mi-8 in this randomised CO-OP Mi-8 Medevac mission. Your Squadron operates Mi-8MTV2 Helicopters out of Kuweires Airfiend in Northern Syria. We are supporting Coalition Special Operations Forces (SOF) operating in the Aleppo region by providing troop transport and MEDEVAC ops. Hostile Insurgent forces operate all throughout the region. They are equipped with APC, technicals and an array of anti air capabilities. Threats to our aircraft will be fr om small arms, RPG, heavy MG/AAA and possibly MANPADS. Keep your approaches low and tight! Avoid or minimise overflight of built up urban areas where possible. - Can be played SP or COOP - Add additional helo's for escort in the ME if you want. - Change aircraft type through ME if you wish, just keep the 'pilot name' to MEDEVAC1 and MEDEVAC2 to keep the triggers working. Thanks to Sithis for the trigger structure!
  5. This might be similar to what you're after: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3312028/ I'll be making more missions soon. Focusing on airmobile, CSAR and medevac ops for us Stalin bus/Huey pilots.
  6. Is it just me or is the Mi8 cockpit glare inside windows hindering vision in most daylight conditions? Anyone else experiencing this?
  7. This looks great, can't wait to check it out!
  8. Nice stuff!
  9. +1 Put simply it means we can simulate pitching deck ops without the need for unrealistically extreme wind velocity! Currently you will end up with at least 50 knots wind over deck to get some decent pitching action.
  10. I've played with a few scenarios but currently the sweet spot is to have the ship sailing at between 5-10knots into a 35-50knot headwind. Turb set to somewhere around 20 but I forget exactly. I'll check and report back. Obviously that's not ideal WOD but it gets her pitching and rolling and it's not impossible to fly an _OK_ pass. It's certainly challenging but not impossible!
  11. My little homage to pitching deck ops, naval aviation and the documentary makers that captured it so well.
  12. That's strange Rob, I've been editing mine with Notepad++ to change my programs since forever and it hasn't broken IC. What modifications are you doing to your file?

    Kneeboard

That would certainly be a neat addition +1
  14. Not sure if related to the recent bar scan issues but on a SP flight recently I selected undesignate while in TWS and the radar managed to lock a target way outside of the radar FOV: I'll try and get a nice concise track file of it when I can.
  15. No major performance boost here, turning shadows to flat is the only thing that gives me a noticeable boost in fps.
  16. Nice find. Always thought it was a bit squishy between the island and the foul line.
  17. Handy reference! Thanks for doing this and including emojis for reference. Time to go get my real sea legs! :pirate:
  18. I'm seeing a pretty huge hit my my system and setting on medium. Anything but an empty deck is getting a bit unplayable.
  19. The glideslope is correct, you just intercept it at 6nm and 1200ft instead of 10nm and 3000ft. You can see that at 6nm you get ACLS lock on and you'll be told to 'fly the needles'. You shouldn't be waved off that early in the pattern if you're maintaining 1200ft until you intercept the glide path.
  20. Regardless, It's more about having the ability to quickly call off the location to flight members or other aircraft if you're performing the FAC role. Currently the only way to do it is to have a GBU38 on the jet that you have to keep on the aircraft to get coords in the MSN page.
  21. Track file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/6hoocqerco5gce6/BlueFlag%20-%20Persian%20Gulf%20v0.943%20-%20SUPERCARRIER.miz-dynamic-20200522-020423.trk.zip?dl=0
  22. Was able to get a 21Bar scan just before in MP:
  23. Looks like we will definitely not be getting it. How disappointing.
