  1. Strange, I have played the 'Interdiction' a couple of times the past week, with the same issue you describe. Updated yesterday and played it again today, with the correct behavior for the symbology when in CCIP mode. Saw it with ease the entire attack run. Others have also reported it as fixed elsewhere. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=3651529
  2. So, how is this going along? As been stated before, the radar was looking nice and was quite useful in DCS 1.5, but now in 2.5 it's pretty useless as ground radar. Hope this is on your list for the out-of-beta goal.
  3. TLTeo, I assume you have stable DCS, not OB? This seems to be fixed in the latest OB update yesterday.
  4. Can confirm this.
  5. Can't say anything about the shkval, but they did add a couple of new controller presets for all ED modules, including this one. In 'Mods\aircrafts\[module]\input\[mode]\joystick' you can find a 'default.lua' and several preset files for common controllers. See if one of the new ones (***.diff.lua) correspond to your setup. They did put up a poll a while ago about what controllers we use, with the purpose to add more presets for the most common ones.
  6. See attached picture of the FR22, the arrow next to the Group Selector (left dial) is pointing towards the special preset channels, not the Group Selector buttons. In the manual (RC1) it points to the Group Selector buttons.
  7. Yet three months later... Flew the Interdiction mission and tried to communicate with my wingman. Started from main menu and the special preset "1" channel on the FR22 did not work. The frequency given in the kneeboard is 127.5 AM, tried "-" on the FR22 with that frequensy with no luck, same with the frequency the frequency selector defaults to, 123.45 AM. Tried to open it in ME and save (com for both me and my wingman is set to 305 AM without me changing anything), then back to main menu and restart. Still no luck, kneeboard still saying 127.5 AM. Tested "-" on the FR22 with 305 AM and it did work, so also for all buttons with 305 AM (special preset "1" has 127.5 AM apparently), don't know if it did before saving in ME. Started from ME and now the kneeboard say 305 AM for the special preset "1" channel. And all buttons with 305 AM, including special preset "1" does work for wingman communication. On DCS OB 2.5.3.22176. EDIT: Further investigation reveled that starting directly from ME doesn't give special preset "1" correct frequency and the kneeboard is still 127.5 AM. I can communicate with my wingman with any of the "1", "2" and "3" buttons for the other flights (all 305 AM). For the special preset "1"and kneeboard to bekome 305 AM I have to select my flight in ME, then fly the mission. That's all I have to do. Selecting my flight (without changing anything) gives me that popup message stating the current loadout has not been saved and if I like to save it. I hit "no". Then I start the mission, getting that "Unsaved mission" popup and hit "no" also there, so I don't save the mission again. Now special preset "1"and kneeboard work correctly. Restarting the mission again from ME without above procedure again result in wrong behaviour for the special preset "1" and kneeboard.
  8. What he is saying is that this mission is the last one, it's only 5 missions.
  9. Nope, not there. Not when I looked a couple of months ago anyhow.
  10. For me it's quite random, sometimes it works, sometimes black screen. I have taken it as routine to do my assignments in game. I believe the black screen has to do with amount of assignments I'm doing or if I'm dealing with axis assignments, but really not completely sure. Haven't tried after the last few beta updates, so hopefully you are right that it's gone.
  11. Thank you Bob! Even if I didn't get that much response other than you and three in the Mi-8 forum, this confirms my suspicion and I have created a bug report here with some info about whats causing it.
  12. Thank you guys! Even if I didn't get that much response other than you three and one at the Huey forum, this confirms my suspicion and I have created a bug report here with some info about whats causing it.
  13. Hi, Since there is no general Belsimtek forum anymore, I take the liberty to create this double post regarding an issue mainly related to the Huey but connected to the Mi-8. The main bug report you can find here.
  14. Hi, For both the UH-1H and the Mi-8 there should be four different profiles available in the Controls settings: 'Game' 'Gunner' 'Sim' 'TrackIR Gunner' But for the Huey the 'TrackIR Gunner' is missing if both aircrafts are installed. The reason is that the file 'name.lua' in 'Mods\aircraft\Uh-1H\Input\UH-1H_TrackIR_Gunner' are hard linked to the same file in 'Mods\aircraft\Mi-8MTV2\Input\Mi-8MTV2_TrackIR_Gunner'. So both files have identical information (technically they are the same file). Removing the Huey 'name.lua', emptying the trashcan (Windows 7), and creating a new file with the same name but with the correct information (return _('UH-1H TrackIR Gunner')) solves the problem. This problem has been present a while. It exist in my DCS 1.5.7. I have confirmed this to not being only in my install by asking about it here and here.
  15. I suggest you post these reports in the combatflight threads, when encounter issues using that tool.
  16. Remember you go into black-out when entering negative-g, and in that state it's pretty impossible for the pilot to take the aircraft out of that negative-g configuration, unless aerodynamical effects will help you. I have witnessed (F2) my Viggen perform numerous inverted loops before hitting ground.
  17. Hi, A while back I got a peculiar issue that I have solved already, but now I would like to see if its only on my install or if I should post a bug report. For both the UH-1H and the Mi-8 there should be four different profiles available in the Controls settings: 'Game' 'Gunner' 'Sim' 'TrackIR Gunner' I would like you to answer two easy questions: 1) Do you have all four profiles for your UH-1H, especially 'TrackIR Gunner'? 2) Do you have the Mi-8 installed? If so, do you have all four profiles for it, especially 'TrackIR Gunner'? I will later get back here and tell you about my issue and if I'm going to post a bug report. This post is duplicated in the Mi-8 forum since there is no longer a general Belsimtek forum. Thanks!

  19. Are the missing bidings pressent without FunkyFrankies mod installed? Have you done some corrections to the files in this mod whenever the original files have been updated, or do you use this mod unmodified? I believe you need to compare the original files with those in the mod and make sure the parts in them that is not parts of the mod are identical. FunkyFrankie did a good job commenting everything he added, so it's easy using softwares like Notpad++ for the comparison. If you don't do this, any updates done by HB after latest FunkyFrankies mod release (quite long ago) will never benefit you. Ragnar, I actually think there would be a good idea for you to have a look at FunkyFrankies mod too. It contains some corrections regarding duplicates and other small buggs still not yet corrected in the original files. Here it is: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=3031175
  20. If I understand this correctly, MBot's picture say that he probably flew to slow or longer route than planed to get to that point (where he is in the picture), so he is 21s behind. Now, at some point before the picture he speed up. With this new, higher speed he would not only catch up on the 21s delay, but actually be ahead of schedule ones he arrive at the next waypoint. The time indication TID are telling MBot he is behind schedule AT THE POSITION HE IS RIGHT NOW. The fin is telling MBot he WILL be AHEAD OF SCHEDULE AT THE TIME HE ARRIVES ON THE NEXT WAYPOINT if he keep the speed he has RIGHT NOW. (not screaming, only emphasizing) The TID is based on the PAST. The fin is based on the PRESENT and FUTURE. What he can do is to keep his higher speed until TID is zero, then slow down slightly to make the fin indicate correct speed. Hope it helps.
  21. No, with 'Default' you have a very short time where any input from your controller are ignored and you can return it to center. If you didn't manage to return it to center during that time, the helicopter will "jump" to another attitude due to the logical position of the cyclic and your physical controller doesn't coincide. In 'Central Position Trimmer Mode' your controller is ignored until X and Y axes are centered (also rudder if rudder trim is enabled), no time limits. If you for some reason have a problem to center them you might loose control of the helicopter. The time the inputs are ignored in the 'Default' mode can be adjusted by a small edit of a lua file. If I remember I can check tomorrow which file it is.
  22. Don't own it. But what I did here was just to look in the 'default.lua' in the 'Input\..._Gunner\mouse' folder and copied the three top lines and the axisCommands section to the 'default.ini' in the 'joystick' folder. Compare the original files with the ones in this MOD, and see how I did it. Then you might be able to do it for the Gazelle by your self.
  23. I assume you mean RShift-T?
  24. Indeed, then the snapshot function of OvGME comes in handy. I always compare last snapshot with current install after every update. If any file included in any of my MODs are updated, I compare them with Notepad++ and change my MOD accordingly. A tedious job, especially when using the OB, but has to be done. What irritates me though, is that most of my MODs are due to small, but irritating bugs that never seems to get any attention from the devs, how ever often they get reported. Fine, maybe not high priority bugs, but even if the fix is less than a 60 seconds job for a dev, they seem to never care.
  25. This MOD is up to date, so it should not mess with the rockets. It's adopted to be used with OvGME, it's not needed but highly recommended if you deal with MODs.
