  1. Tarres sent me a data file for historic RSBN. Maybe I can add it to my extra beacons mod.
  2. Isn't that a bort number? Wouldn't RAZBAM have to put the bort in that location themselves?
  3. Is an aircraft's cross section/signature considered by radar in the game? Or are detection ranges just hard-coded?
  4. ED pushed out their update, not much LN can do about it. I expect we'll see it in the first April update.
  5. Load the existing texture file into photoshop, edit it, and save it with the same name in the same place. That's how all re-skinning is done prior to a paint kit being available. Edit: oh, i misunderstood. What you're asking about is changing a geometry, not changing a texture. That requires the .max source files.
  6. I think that once RAZBAM releases the official paintkit, you'll see a lot more high quality liveries spring up. We're past the most recent ETAs for release, but I'm sure they have their reasons. (Eclair addition or other details in the physical model that may be changing)
  7. Maybe use the M-2000C livery forum?
  8. this is fastest by far, and maintains situational awareness
  9. there's a lighting control dial behind the copilot/navigator, turn it clockwise Edit: picture here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2311802&postcount=2
  10. I wish Polychop the best, and will most likely buy their module on day 1 at full retail price. That being said, you and I have wildly different definitions of delivering a module. I've seen too many efforts post cool videos only to disappear in a puff of smoke. Delivered = I can buy it and download it with functioning systems and a reasonably-close-to-reality flight model.
  11. Thx everyone for the links, fascinating stuff
  12. Doesn't make sense to me that color would matter for NVG-compatible instruments. It should just be reduced brightness. That's how all my NVG-compatible optics work today. Now, if they happened to be using LEDs that were especially inconsistent in the IR spectrum then it might matter, but the color of your instrument shouldn't matter at all. Focal length through goggles would be a different problem, though it doesn't seem to me like an especially hard problem to solve either.
  13. Scratches / divots on the left side. Honestly, it goes well with some of the worn A-10 cockpit mods. =P
  14. I got a quote from them and it was significantly more than "half dozen of warthog". Well outside the budget of any normal individual. You'd really only use them if you were building a full simulation setup for the military, or a high-end aviation training company. My local flight school has a simulator that counts for some of your IFR hours, and it's way lower quality than my warthog at home. --gos
  15. If the person on the front seat jettisons their canopy, the noise level in the rear seat doesn't change either. =P
  16. Interesting. For the A-4 to be capable of mounting the D-704, they only changed a single panel in the cockpit.
  17. Looks to me like one of your texture files (M2KC_5C?) is corrupted apparently. Maybe uninstall and reinstall the mirage module?
  18. known issue: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=162619
  19. Yes. The M-2000C.lua was updated to fix those issues, but this mod still overwrites the fixes with the old values. The mod needs to be updated.
  20. Interesting, they keep the red on the tail for their low vis scheme?
  21. FWIW, they stated they'll be adding to the NTTR terrain (at least 1 airfield confirmed). They also were asking about casino blueprints, though pulled the request for obvious reasons. Hopefully a few more details like your suggestion show up, like Valley Hospital and its landing pad.
  22. I think it'd be awesome. Packed dirt or gravel construction. Select runway length and orientation in the ME. Small percent chance of FOD destroying your airplane. Helos could deliver weapons and fuel to allow rearming/refueling.
  23. Holy geezus those EA-6Bs are sexy!
