  1. Nice, I've been using it over the past week, super helpful for MP.
  2. Anyone figured out why this might be happening? Maybe it's related to the other reported issue where the heli does the odd pitch bouncing in normal flight?
  3. Maybe it makes sense to package this up as a mod?
  4. Yeah trying that right now actually, but indeed its still not ideal. Perhaps it would be nice to have an ability to hold the button to give us time to return to center, or perhaps a 0.5 sec 'grace' period where the heli will hold until you can return the controls to neutral. At least, if the bouncing is not a bug.
  5. For me default does not respond at all to holding the button down, I have to tap it for it to apply properly. Trimming without making the nose bob still seems really hard because it instantly sets it to the new attitude meaning you are giving it a fraction of a second of input before you can move the stick to neutral.
  6. Worst part is that all the controls you want easy access to seem to be exactly the ones missing. Gunsight brightness, automatic tracking, master arm etc. Hopefully these are added soon. There's like a million irrelevant things bindable, while the most used ones are not.
  7. I'm not even sure this happens right now, I've had tank targets show up above ZU23. I think it makes sense if he ranks them from distance to boresight. A target at the center would be priority, then scroll up for targets to the left and down for targets on the right of boresight. It happened quite frequently that I'm lined up on a tank, then Petrovich gives me 3 tank targets and selecting the first will be the furthest to the side, requiring changing your approach. Then add an option where he will prioritize AA over everything else and that should make things a lot easier.
  8. Imo the AI gunner should be automatically taking care of this, it makes much more sense for him to monitor that then for the pilot.
  9. Had the same issue, make sure you tell petrovich to warm up the weapons first, that seems to make the sight work properly. Or try an in-flight start, it will have everything ready to go I think. Starting hot from the ground things still need to be turned on.

  12. Very strange, is there no way to change it anymore with mods? Years ago I also used a mod that removed all the dirt etc from the canopy, that one worked fine. Is that no longer allowed? Is there some way to make a mod like I linked in the first post work?
  13. Decided to pick up the 21 again today after not playing it for a long time, What on earth am I looking at here? I can't even tell what is reflecting in the windows here, both the front and the side appear to be reflecting the same objects? That's not even going into how low res and blurry these reflections are. I thought baked in reflections were the ugliest they had to offer, but this is somehow worse. I tried to use this mod to remove the reflections but it does not seem to work, is there any way to get rid of this?   15. Yeah, its an easy enough workaround, I'm just wondering if this is correct behaviour.
  16. Mostly wondering if it's correct that they are that much less effective. I guess they are smaller, but couldn't they be using more modern materials or have a shorter burn time, achieving similar effectiveness as the larger flares?
  17. I was flying online, and after placing some markpoints etc, I found I had no way of cycling through these. Later on I realized this is due to not having any waypoints. If you don't have at least one waypoint entered you can make no use of any other map based designation. You can place them, but you cannot cycle through them with waypoint increment or the moving map OSB buttons. I'm wondering if this is correct behaviour? It seems a bit odd that you can place markpoints and designate targets (which the plane will remember as they will be accessible after creating a waypoint), but unable to access them until any random waypoint exists.
  18. For 1, I'm not sure if there is a button that does that, but they will automatically come back to boresight if they reach gimbal limit. So normally if you misjudge an approach they will be boresighted again when you come around. 2, not sure, just used them and they work fine at least from an airstart in editor. I think they default to 1688 like other guided weapons.
  19. Getting used to this yesterday, I don't think it would feel as awkward if boxing EHSD did not yank your view to a STP instead of what you are actually looking at.
  20. And you are totally right, could have saved myself a thread but I see it's not even mentioned in the changelog when searching for it.
  21. Yes I know you are supposed to have them removed before starting, but once every now and then you forget especially after flying different aircraft. It feels insanely silly to sit there, immobile, with the ground crew completely ignoring you and forced to do a complete restart. Either allow it to be removed at any time or just automatically remove it when you start your engine. There's no point to keeping them on anyway.
  22. Per title, did it have similar features that the F18 has now? Like being able to ground designate, mark datalink contacts etc. Planned features mentions, "Integration of the JHMCS with the HARM Targeting System (HTS), Link 16, and AIFF" It seems to imply the same features + some extra. Does anyone know specifically what functionalities these will bring into the F16? Like for instance how the HTS links with the HMCS?

  24. Thanks, would there be a difference in terms of ordnance? I vaguely recall reading that the Spanish did not use the super 530F? I guess not much has been said about what will actually be added in game for this plane either. If they are going full accurate with the Spanish version, or make a 'pretend' French variant as well with armament options.
  25. So what armament are we getting on this? Since they are Spanish versions, are we only getting what the Spanish used? How did they differ from the French ones?
