  1. Well we do have a kind of 6DOF, depending on the settings you can see your stabilizer. However the mod allowing for full 6DOF motion in cockpit is not official and as the cockpits themselves use older non-6dof technology, you will see glitches, bugs and etc. Take a look @ lockonfiles.com for this mod...
  2. In single player, it will probably work, but not online, due to most servers integrity checking export.lua you will not be able to use it.
  3. Would be nice, even more people will know about it and give it a try. Once again, great work, I really really enjoy the sounds!
  4. I guess the easy fix Lucid was referring is to switch to Super sampling AA instead of multisampling AA. You can do this in your graphic driver settings panel.
  5. Did you even bother to watch the video in the first post?!?
  6. It should work but only in single player/ server made by you or a friend with disabled integrity check on export.lua. Most Dedicated servers require the default export.lua file, so you won't be able to use it online...
  7. I doubt the mix of AMD and Nvidia hardware causes the problems. Maybe it's a software/driver related issue. What is more, GTX 4xx series are new on the market, and probably the drivers will need a little bit of time to run flawlessly.
  8. Interesting... when flying the MiGs(both 29A and 29S) I don't get any sound clicking or cracking. When I step in the flanker though things go bad. Kind of weird, I think they use the same sound files and yet I get different results...
  9. And I agree with both of you Crunch and Buncsi :) However I doubt Ricardo will release individual cockpit mods, I think he'd rather release the next version when both cockpits are ready, so it won't really matter which one he starts with...
  10. Sad to hear about the loss, I hope the pilot has not sustained injuries.
  11. I believe you should be on the runway/taxiways/parking areas and your gear should not have collapsed in order to be repaired.
  12. I read some reviews, and in fact the 465 is not performing as it should considering the cost and the performance of the Radeon HD5850 which costs about the same. And in addition is hotter and consumes more power in idle/full load than the Ati part. They'll need some redesigning of the gpu or new smaller manufacturing process to keep up with the already 'old' Ati products...
  13. You spend too much time watching out of the cockpit :P The only time I could notice the imperfect models is when I fly in close formation, and even then I'm more busy at the controls than looking for low-poly models :) Don't take this seriously though, I got your point, and yes it would be nice to have new better models, but as always probably time isn't enough for everything...
  14. It's a part of his JetPack - link at lockonfiles: http://www.lockonfiles.com/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=getit&lid=1677#dl There was a thread somewhere here about a separate install, I'll look later for it as i've got some other things to finish now.
  15. Both the MiG-29 and Su-33 have been reworked(rather made from scratch) by Tomcatz, and currently an even better MiG-29 model is in the works. I really look forward to it :)
  16. I actually made the effort to remove you from my ignore list, to see if your posts were constructive in any way... Thanks for proving me wrong, you're back on the list, so don't bother replying or quoting me again...
  17. Well, the 33 is heavier and has more drag than the 27. This reduces your speed and to counter this you need to use higher throttle settings that obviously and effectively reduce your flight time/range. But then it again comes back to how you fly your plane. I often fly combat sorties for more than an hour(per sortie) in the MiG with just 4.5 tons of fuel, in the 33 you can do much more, if you plan your fight well, and use the throttles gently.
  18. HBD! :)

  20. Indeed it is, however throttling to idle might help you when an ET is already on its way towards you. Idle + flares, change of trajectory could save you when you're already within the no-escape-window-zone. However, it's more luck than anything else. It's best to try and not get that close, and try to engage and kill at longer ranges, or at least force the bandit to defend himself, then press on him and close in for a heater.
  21. Well, I believe the HD4670 will be able to cope with BS, so you'll have a nice well-running system. Just for information, why did you decide to ditch AMD? There are some really nice price/performace cpus...
  22. 10.5 worked fine for me in FC2. However in Battlefield 2: BC, I got crashes everytime I tried to play for more than 5-6 minutes. No error messages, just crash-to-desktop. The driver was the only thing I changed, and I did it properly, removing the old one, cleaning with dh driver cleaner, and a clean install of the official 10.5. Everything got fixed when I reverted back to Catalyst 10.4a...
  23. I'd suggest you stick to the i3, get a decent PSU, overclock the CPU and add 2 gigs more RAM. That would be the optimum solution for BS/FC2. You didn't mention your video card, it does play a secondary role in this sim, but should not be left out. For example you may get a fast CPU and loads of ram but with an old and slow display adapter, you still won't enjoy the game much... For higher resolutions (1680 and up), I'd suggest you get at least something like GF 9600/8800/9800 GT or Ati Radeon HD38xx/HD48xx/HD57xx/58xx.
  24. Try updating your graphics drivers. And also see if your hardware matches the minimal requirements of Black Shark. Vista is compatible with the sim, so you should have no problems with it, if everything else is fine!
  25. Good work on the stats system, looking forward to flying on the server!
