  1. Do you have antenna elevation bound to an axis?
  2. Hey, It works fine for me. But sometimes I get the same issue as you do. What usually works is dobber left to return to the main page. when I then go back to the DED (I.E. List - 7) I can dobber right through the pages just fine.
  3. You're not losing the screens, you're just losing all datalink information. it also appears your INS knob is not in the NAV position, judging from the DED behavior and the HUD occasionally saying ALIGN
  4. If I am not mistaken, she should get LCOS as well :)
  5. It was in the changelog :) Also, Betty already has all her lines recorded and included in the sim as you can hear them all when pressing the malfunction and indication lights test button, although some (such as "counter", "warning", "lock" etc.) aren't hooked up to their respective function yet.
  6. Those describe changes in the early acces manual, not necessarily in the jet itself.
  7. it's for the Persian Gulf, you need to own that map to be able to fly this.
  8. I believe the black radomes were swapped out because they were deemed to be to highly visible in short ranged air-to-air combat.
  9. That semi-circle was not a part of the F-16 that is currently being simulated. The woman saying "lock" amongst other things is already in (you can hear her when you do the indicator lights test) but it's not yet tied to locking a target using auto-acquisition.
  10. what button are you using to contact ATC? Without easy comms, you cannot use the "/" button, you have to use the UHF transmit switch (default "Ralt + /") or the VHF transmit switch (default "Rctrl + /") in order to talk to other entities via the radio. edit: note that the slashes are the wrong way. for some reason I cannot enter the correct slash.
  11. With easy communication set to OFF, you need to use the correct COMM switch to contact ATC or anyone else. You can tell if you are using the correct comm switch when your pilot is talking because that COMM channel will 'light up' on the DED
  12. I think both modes introduce this effect to the steerpoint. At some point in early acces, the "cursor zero" function will be introduced, allowing you to eliminate the offset introduced by TGP or other sensor slewing. edit: atleast, CZ seems to have been mentioned on the recently released roadmap for the F-16. Not sure about how it will be implemented
  13. The default command to lock a target is TMS forward. However to produce a lock in AA mode you need to have the cursor over your bandit on the radar. You can put the jet in Dogfight mode (switch on the throttle, look for it in the controls) to gain acces to auto-acquisition modes. TMS forward selects bore, and TMS aft selects vertical scan. If you enable the JHMCS, you can make the radar and sidewinder follow your sightline using TMS forward. If you opt to choose dogfight mode, you need to return the switch to the central position to be able to proceed to operate the jet as normally.

    VR pilot body

That is not the update log. That is the roadmap.
  15. What air-to-air mode exactly were you in? If you entered DF or MRM air-to-air mode, you cannot enter any other mode without centering the DF-mode switch first. What type of ammunition were you firing? The default ammo for the F-16 is SAPHEI which does not feature any tracers. You can choose HEI-T from the mission editor or the rearming menu. This type of ammo does feature tracers. There is also a selection of practice ammo that does have tracers.

    Flares

There is also a wall dispenser you can slam :) This drops two chaff and two flares. Much more conservative than CMDS forward.
  17. The default ammo is SAPHEI without tracers. From the mission editor or the rearming menu you can select HEI-T ammo which does have tracers. There's also a selection of training ammo that also has tracers.
  18. The old bonus points will not be converted to ED miles. You can still use your bonus points until June next year, or until they expire.
  19. Hey Rafale, first of all, good luck with the project, sounds nice :) If you're building the hornet cockpit it might possibly be an idea to fly in the HUD only mode. This way you'll have it in the center of your projector.
  20. I couldn't reproduce any of that. The rockets come off fine for me. I could also complete the cold start training normally. Did you set up the trim as was requested?
  21. Yes, it does have ILS. You can enter ILS data by pressing the 1 (T-ILS) button on the ICP. You can then enter the data on the DED. Landing cues will then be provided on the HUD and on the ADI. The still was taken from the recent announcement trailer, and shows the button position and the DED.
  22. Yeah, when you put the weapon selector into the sparrow/phoenix position, you gotta press the weapon selector inwards to swap between sparrows and phoenixes :) The function for the control to do that is in the attachment.
  23. What does your HUD say? Does it say SP0? If so, you gotta press the weapon selector switch inward (found in controls as "Weapon selector press") to swap between sparrows and phoenixes.
  24. I stand corrected! I did not know there was a difference in fuel capacity inbetween some versions except between the single- and dual seat versions.
