Our F-16 will only receive USAF/ANG operated equipment. As for those tanks, drop em when you go into combat! You'll still have 6900lbs of internal fuel, enough to complete most missions and RTB or hit the tanker.

It's unfortunately a little brainfart on Steam's end. Luckily the issue is rare. I've only seen this once before. What is also unfortunate is that Steam does not allow for multiple folders on a single drive, hence you're receiving complaints when trying to create a second one. In the downloads folder menu, find out where the (new) folder for steam games is located on the drive you want DCS world to be. Then navigate to that folder, -> steamapps -> Common. Move the DCS world folder to this place. Restart steam. If it says "install", run that (it should know all the files you already have, so no huge amounts of data should be downloaded). If it says "play", run an integrity check before flying. Hopefully the issue is now solved.

DCS does not automatically uninstall itself under any condition. Besides, it sounds like DCS is not uninstalled at all, rather, your steam client seems to have forgotten you have it installed. The first thing I'd try is to go to steam (top left menu button) -> settings -> downloads and then press the library folders button. Make sure that the folder that contains DCS appears here.

Zonder, was the airport part of your coalition? I recall that the mission generator doesn't always do this correctly if you opt for a cold- or runway started generated mission.

Like sinus already said it's not clickable. The master will automatically be toggled when you enter one of the combat modes by pressing 2,3,4 or 6 on the keyboard. You can toggle it back by going into NAV mode (1).

Hello imacken, you could use the time controls (LCTRL-Z, LALT-Z, LSHIFT-Z) to skip through portions of the dialogue that are currently not of interest to you.

A good starting point would be applying a low pass filter for sounds above circa 5Khz and a high pass filter for sounds below 300hz or so. You could then try to amplify the results by a few dB (I'd try to start between 10 and 20) while making sure to allow for clipping. You could try to generate a noise track and amplify it down to generate a bit of background noise. A lot of aircraft have alternating currents that operate at or near a frequency of around 400Hz. This sometimes produces an audible tone in comms. . You can generate a tone of such frequency in Audacity, and modify it to sound similiair to the AC tone. Might add a little authenticity, depending on the airframe you're communicating with :) There's also an AM radio function under the equalizer that might be worth playing around with. All the values I mentioned are ballpark figures. Up to you to edit them to what sounds right.

If you so wish, you can use the mission editor or modify the logbook.lua to skip missions for wich you have to fly the Ka-50. You could potentially even use the mission editor to change the Ka-50 into an Mi-8 (but you cannot save the mission like this due to DLC protection). I am not sure if you can complete all missions if you do this, though. You're missing out by opting not to fly your shark :) I know it's heavy handed on the avionics side, but mastering her and being able to fly and fight at the same time is a real art.

CRS stands for course. It can be manipulated using the CRS knob just above the analog airspeed indicator, below the UFC. Doing so will draw a courseline through the selected entity on the EHSD.

Good day, SiTh, I've put this to the test and managed to regain control over an Su-33 with both of its wings snapped off and land at an airfield 3 times. The total amount of tries tallies 12 attempts. I've attached two tracks, and one where I gain control over the spin, but not full control of the aircraft like in the other two shown attempts.
