  3. Do the F-5 and MiG-21 qualify as legacy? Because I'd love to have unlimited lives flying around with you and Cosmic in my new F-5E-3 :smilewink: Edit: Good point about fuel planning,it's a pain to defuel when I just want to take an aircraft up for a pattern.

  5. One life's every 15 mins I'd say. Hour is too one and reset is excessive. Even then I think this should be at the bottom of the test list. Personally I think fuel levels is the solution.

  7. You're doing something wrong then, several guys on the Open Conflict server and I have manged to be extremely effective both with the Mirage against FC3 aircraft and in the Huey, Mi-8, and Gazelle against ground (and air with th Mistral Gazelle).

  9. About an update or two ago I noticed that whenever I tried to create an instant action mission that it would fail saying "MISSION WAS NOT GENERATED" this only occurred with the MiG-21. Thinking it might've been a problem with the mission generator I tried using the Mission Editor to manually create a MiG mission. Whenever I placed a MiG it acts like it was placed (shows additional options on the right side bar) but doesn't show on the map and cant be interacted with, it also glitches out the Module Manager. I have tried reinstalling, as well as reactivating to no avail. Any ideas would be welcome. Thanks!
  10. You can't use standalone keys on steam. I don't know what you are talking about FSX for, this is a forum for DCS/Digital Combat simulator.
  11. In regards to the AIM-9 bug, using missile step with HUD selected as SOI and A2A selected as the master mode before firing your first AIM-9 will force the missile that normally is bugged to be selected and cause it to work as normal. I believe missile step is China Hat fore or aft short.

It's already been explained by SkateZilla that if any livery calls for empty.tga for the "EMPTY" texture, then every other livery will reference empty.tga because in DCS' "eyes" that file is the "EMPTY" texture. It's a feature that prevents loading textures that are shared between multiple liveries over and over again, but it also means that if you have something like this empty.tga problem then it will cause an issue for all of the liveries for that aircraft.

  18. Sometimes it loses connection to the master server that builds the server list. If it was the last server you were on just use connect by ip as it will have automatically been changed to Open Conflicts ip.

  22. In my case better multi core optimization would significantly boost my fps considering I'm on a 3.2 GHz machine, fairly weak compared to the 4.6 GHz monsters I've seen people using. This is most likely why I only get around 30-50 fps where as in most games I get 60 fps at ultra. I don't know, maybe it would be too expensive, but I certainly toss $50 over if it meant the potential for greatly improved performace.

  25. Odd, I've seen that with liveries but not with damage, maybe it's something in how the damage texture layer is added?
