Honestly I just want the helmets to be done right. Seeing a US navy pilot or a US Marine pilot wear the grey Air Force helmets drives me nuts.

It's still in beta. Beta is a more polished than EA but still not the finished product. Hence why 2.0 is still considered a beta.

I can't do TIR anymore. Mines more of an ergonomic thing than anything. I would get such headaches from having to keep my eyes on the screen while turning my head. Having a 1:1 ratio is incredible more helpful to me. I do wish for better clearity and they need to fix the model enlarging for VR. But outside of that, it's the only way I'll fly. I would like to note that even real pilots shoot down friendly forces in "combat." It's less about visuals and more about communication between wingman.

I couldn't fly with out VR. It's so much better than TrackIr. It does have its issues though but it'll only get better as time goes by.

I just flip my rift up and I have plenty of space to see what I'm writing. Of course I'm writing on a kneeboard not on a desk so it's in perfect veiw for me.

Yeah TACAN is broken and has been for a while.

Will the movable lighting have an adverse impact on frame rates?

I enjoyed flying with you guys the other day. I hope it continues in the future. Sweet on the fix. Once I get back I'll be hitting it kind of hard on DCS.

I think a trainer is the best way to go as I have a tendency to be HUD focused. Flying the F-5E and the Hawk have helped a ton getting me to focus on other instruments instead. It was and still is a hard habit to break. This way she won't start with that bad habit.

so after trying the mod I was having a hard time with control imputs. Do you have to have the SU-33 in order for the mods to work?

Sorry let me clarify what I was asking. I know I can get them from the game files on my computer, what I am asking is is there a place on the internet that I can download them. If I get them from my computer I need to email them to my iPad. It's a time consuming process. I was just wondering if there is another place I can download them straight to my iPad.

So I would agree that the Hawk is an excellent choice if you want to go that route. It'll give her some good easy training without a ton of complexity. Also the F-5 would be a good choice as well. But mind you the learning curve on navigation and landing is high at least for me it is. But it will make the A-10 feel like small potatoes with all of its bells and whistles lol.

So here's a quick question. Is there a place where the document for the campaign are available for download? I know I can get them from my desktop but I use my iPad for all the files and it is easier just to down load them. ED has the 15 red flag docs on their website, so why not the 10? Even if it's not ED's website is there a place?

How come you don't use DCS SR for your coms, if you don't mind me asking? Is it because your using a mods for the Hornet? And how often do you open recruiting?

I see people's point of having all the missions in the Caucuses,, but if we a going for realism (and I think the overwhelming majority of us playing are) then t makes more sense to have the training in a training map like the NTTR and then deploy to another map. I like that idea a ton. But I would understand if they just went and did it all in the Caucuses.

You can absolutely turn down the intensity of the NVG. Alt-Shift H and Alt-Ctrl H IIRC.

I don't think it does.
