So I'm trying to add the CATM-9 to the Mirage for training purposes. I've tried adding the A-10C CATM-9 to the Mirage LUA but it doesn't show up in the menu. How do I add it to be able to load it on the jet. I don't really care at the moment if I get HUD symbology. I just would like to have it on there. Thank you in advanced.

Thank you for that info. Azrayen that will be most helpful with our documentation.

So what is the Max landing weight in the M2K? I have been doing AAR and coming back to Nellis with basically a full bag of gas, full A2A armament, and a full drop tank. I've been landing really hard. I know the 18, and 16 have max landing weights so I would figure this does as well.

The 476th is an awesome squadron to be in. They are an A-10C squadron and we fly as realistic as we can. Jump on our website and check it out. http://www.476vfightergroup.com

This is one reason, and two my vFS has rules in place for live munitions and inert training ones. At least as far as the NTTR. So it would be useful to have inserts so that way I can continue practicing overhead breaks when I have missles and other FFO. I know his isn't a real plane but we try to fly as close as we can, which is a ton of fun for me. And on a quick side note, Baltic your campaigns are awesome. Can't wait for Red Flag!

I was wondering if Razbam was going to make Inert weapons for the Mirage? We use them in training on the A-10C so that way you can get a feel for the jet and how it handles with the weight. I would like to do the same on the Mirage as well.

Controllers (went way off topic and moved)

Yes your HOTAS will work very well for the 18. And Thrustmaster is going to have a replica 18 stick that will be interchangeable with the Warthog stick. -
VFA-97 please!

I don't know what you guys have but I'm at .9 MB a second

Well I should have been a bit more specific. I meant the engine necelle. That area under the jet, where 64 and 65 L/R are on the Legacy seemed to have more space. Not that it has a ton of room. I didn't work on Supers that long to really get a great feel for them. Legacies on the other hand, well let's just say I have cardinal knowledge lol.
-
Also the non skid on the LEX is long on the Legacys and on Supers they just have non skid right at the ladder.
-
Behind, you cannot see the intakes from behind and the LEX would be difficult to see from behind. But other ways to tell are Supers don't have LEX Fences. And the wings have a dog tooth design at the wing fold. The horizontal stabs are angular on a Super vs round on a Legacy. The ceramic tiles for the exhaust have little squares in them. And the engines are way bigger.

I was hoping VFA-97 and VFA-125 would have made the mix. But then I found out 97 went to supers and 125 was decommissioned when I was there. I was told they just stood back up as a 35 RAG.

I know exactly what an alpha is. I'm not complaining so much about the bugs. I'm expecting bugs and limited features. Like not every airport in NTTR when it first came out. What is the criticism for me is a lack of communication, and what seems to be a push for more/new content and features before the bugs on what currently is released are fixed. VR has been far too bright at night since CV1 came out. It took this long to get a slider for gamma. Game works well in VR and then it's updated and it's virtually unplayable. It's these things that becomes problematic 3, or is it four, years into an alpha. Again, I am loving this game, and I appreciate the hard work put into it. But "it's an alpha code" isn't an answer it's an excuse.
-
You just kind of just made my point. Just saying it's alpha code get over it isn't a decent answer to legitimate problems and concerns. But like I said, I wouldn't go anywhere else. This is THE sim. It is just frustrating to have the game get fixed and then go back, and then get fixed, and then go back, and then get fixed, and then go back, and then add new content go even further back, and then get fixed. It is a legitimate frustration. And just saying it's Alpha is hardly an answer.

So here's my take. I love this game and think it can be awesome. There are times when it's the most fun I have in my day. But here's the thing, to just say "It's in Alpha, your expectations are too high" does a disservice to us. Almost all of us understand what an alpha means. The problem is that ED keeps pushing more modules or more content vs really focusing on the gameplay itself. And when you get an update but it makes the game worse, it feels as if no one bothered to test it before they released it. I am not expecting a perfect game, but I do expect the company I've paid for a product to not belittle the customer, address the issues, fix them, and for them to keep the customer updated with information. Razbam has done a great job in this aspect. With this 2.1 release it seemed like they tried to push new content before the current content was read to move forward causing problems. Now I will say that with the post Wags made it feels like they were doing their part acknowledging the problems. So that's a positive. And they've talked about what some of the fixes are going to be. So that's a positive. But they need to continue with that feedback and updates. It'll help hem long turn as almost all of us will stay on board warts and all. But most important, they and the moderators shouldn't be saying things like it's in alpha lower your expectations. So that's my thoughts. Having said that, I'm looking forward to more fixes and the gamma slider I believe will be a big game changer in VR. So keep up the hard work gentlemen and ladies I'm cheering you on!

So my take is a bit more complex than a good job ED. This new lighting system has some amazing potential. It feels to me like the afternoon feels like an afternoon looks visual with the new lighting system. The problem is the sun is too powerful and washes out everything. Kind of like being in a pool all day. At night and dawn/dusk is where this system really shines. I can tell you flying VR exclusively has been not enjoyable at night. There is no fear of hitting the ground or need for NVG's before cause everything was bright and really looked just like daytime with only a black sky instead of blue. Now it's dark! I still wish I could turn down the brightness level in my HMD a bit more to get a really good feel. But this at night has been huge for immersion. They do need to clean some stuff up, such as the blue or teal shadows and MSAA problems, but overall this new system looks great. Looking forward to what changes they make to make it work the way they intended it to. So it's kind of a mix bag for me, but the positives out weigh the negatives right now.

That didn't work Edit: Never mind I need to read more carefully.

So I need some help. I'm trying to remove the static reflection on the Canopy of the A-10C. It's very distracting at night, causes some visual problems, and even causes some equilibrium problems when flying. It feels as if you are banking to the right all the time. So I need help trying to get rid of that texture from the canopy. Can anyone please help me accomplish this? Thank you in advanced.
-
How do you do that?

So I'm not sure if this is a bug or what. It believe it is most noticeable in VR and only on the A-10C. But it seems as if the canopy has a fixed reflective texture mesh on it all the time. It's not so bad during the day but at night it makes it feel as if the plane is banking to the right the whole flight. I haven't flown without VR in a very long time so I cannot remember if it was there before or not. Is there anyway to remove this mesh or is there a mod out there? Thank you in advanced Intel i5-6600 CPU @ 3.30GHz 16GB of RAM NVidia GTX 1080

Only the Super Hornets do ATA. Legacy Hornets, at least when I was in, didn't have the ability to perform a tankers function. So until a SH is modeled I doubt we will see player being tankers.

2.1 NTTR improvement
AMEDooley replied to Gunny Highway's topic in DCS: Nevada Test and Training Range
Hence the alternative history approach. We really could do anything we want I was just taking a different angle for those WWII guys.
