  1. 527th Aggressor Squadron Aircraft in Sardina, Italy 1986 http://www.alanwisniewski.com/aggressors/images/F5_13.png
  2. The photo from above shows all 6 original aggressor colors of; Grape, Snake, Old Lizard, Old Ghost, Frog, Sand, Old Blue.
  3. More USAF F-5E Pics, I'm sorry this has to be my favorite plane! "This F-5E was still in SEA camo when this picture was taken at Clark AB in 1979
  4. Growler Ball 2018! Couldn't figure out how to do it despite jojo's help, and messing around with it, sorry
  5. Best MiG-29 SMT footage I have seen, complete with air to air missle shot https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oMKVtrkKSW8
  6. YES! I knew I wasn't the only one who thought that right away!
  7. Use of these excellent model aircraft by the majority of any flight sim community is a personal fantasy. Flying out of any airport, single ship, doing what you want, ( a million other things). It's an entertainment military flight simulator, a game, it is all a personal fantasy.
  8. Talks about all the Western-denigrate Propaganda,....then goes on to talk about how the F-22/F-35 are not nearly as good as the SU-35 :megalol:
  9. I love these threads that discuss hypothetical scenarios on highly classified stuff on both sides. This radar has this range and that radar has that detection range, that missle has that range and the IR sensor has.... All of this is classified, nobody here knows any of it! Not just here but all these articles, especially since the F-15X isn't even in production! I guess I just don't get the fun in it, I guess I just like the old school articles on stuff that we know about. Or talking about planes that exist.
  10. Cool, except any forum is much less organized and easy to cover than nice video.
  11. Feel like if they had just let the scenes play out rather than a montage it would have been a lot better. IMO
  12. LOL uncontrolled testosterone, do you know many fighter pilots? Or any civilian pilots? Their as testosterone filled as it gets, especially in 1980's Cold War.
  13. Found this picture when just searching around the internet. :helpsmilie: Apparently it is an A-10A from the 118th Fighter Squadron, CT ANG. This means the picture is at least 10 years old, because the 118th transitioned from A-10A's to C-130H. Any help would be greatly appreciated! :helpsmilie:
  14. Just rewatched Topgun last night, still very impressed with how beautiful the cinematography was in that movie. I am very excited that they are using the Super Hornets rather than CGI with the F-35. I can't wait!
  15. I'll bite, though google is your friend
  16. Anyone have any ideas about that MiG-29 fly over from 3:13-3:15? Can confirm it is an Indian Navy MiG-29 but thats it Also this video has probably the best inflight hud footage I have personally seen, so awesome.
  17. Finally starting to spread around, wonder how long it will be until an F-35 gets bloody
  18. Not entitlement for some of us, just confusion on the point of this in a Combat Simulator. Especially when there is so many civilian aerobatic simulations for civilian simulations. And I am supportive of this being in DCS
  19. Highly recommend the book he wrote if you have any interest in RIO workload and/or the filming of the movie
  20. My apologies then, I thought you were trying to prove a point
  21. The R-77's are not coming to our variant of SU-27S that we have in the game. They are not, our model is too old. The J-11 having R-77 is a blessing to people who want to fly a flanker variant. If you really want to fly under the livery of Russia or another SU-27 user just get a skin for the J-11.
  22. With MiG-29 losses, the excuses are always inferior pilots are the reason, but the MiG-29 is still amazing and can easily take down US fighters. Now it is malfunctions with the aircraft that caused the loss to the American fighters. Cannot we just accept history as it happened? The loss of some of the MiG-29's due to supposedly not having working RWR's is a testament itself to reality's of warfare. Real life is not some clean video game like DCS were everything is perfect, which is why I cannot ever understand the countless West vs Eastern aircraft debates that try to justify the loss of aircraft (like the MiG-29 in this instance). The results speak for themselves, and and I wish people would just accept them rather than trying to defend airplanes that they like. So yes the MiG-29 pilots stood no chance, but NATO forces designed it to be that way, war is not fair.
