  1. +1 for an animated knob. So how do i know whether i have put into the correct position?
  2. Kinda related to OP's issue. Is it just me or is this sun-glare weird and way off? Looks especially distracting if the sun sits low directly in front of the cockpit when taking off.
  3. @Cobra ...great to hear the english cockpit is coming afterall. Devrims english cockpit mod works super fine, kudos to him! Still, its always good to have a nativ version by the actual developers. Simply for the reason that DCS is in constant change and mods might not get updated for various reasons at some future point in time.
  4. BTW, what is the current status of the "Mini NTTR DACT campaign"? Is that coming before or after the Main campaign?
  5. Der Preis stimmt nicht ganz, es sind nur 24$ @ 60% off. Macht umgerechnet knapp unter/über 21€ je nach Umrechnungskurs von Paypal, Kreditkartenfirma etc.
  6. English cockpit pretty please? At least after the initial F-14 heat is through?
  7. Any idea Ehen the J-11A will be made available for Su-27 standalone owners?
  8. +1 for ZA Version without having to remove the gunsight. I don't really have the need for the purely civilian implementation.
  9. The latest iterations of the 476th NTTR objects mod goes into the saved games folder. Earlier versions worked fine when placed in the main game folders, but i can't get this to work like i used to. The mods instructions clearly state to place it in the saved games folders, so no biggy there.
  10. ah ok. Thanks for the detailed response. The radar lock for FC3 aircraft is a useful feature. I hope you find a way to access the radar locks of full fidelty module aircraft as well. With the F/A-18 already released, and F-16, F-14 and more on the way...i reckon it would be a pitty if radar locks can only be displayed for FC3/4 aircraft. Anyway, i already looked at a bunch of my BVR ai encounter tracks and it already showed me a lot of how the ai acts and what i am doing right and where i can improve. But its really fun to look at a track and see how a defensive maneuver defeats a hostile missle! Kudos
  11. But honestly; i don't feel Belsimtek und to a degree ED really insinuated that a one time purchase was gonna cover all possible future module implementations. That was my secret hope which often tempted me to buy it during a sale....and i never did because the wording of the module description did not clearly allow for that interpretation. The only hint was that the NS430 might eventually come to other modules as well. But i never read it the way that it likely would come free of charge if i purchased it once for the MI-8. And thats exactly why i never purchased it during all the sales that went by since release. Cause i was never sure whether the purchase for the MI-8 would really mean i get a free L-39 NS 430 port. I think one way of thinking about this might be; do you want to have a higher overall module price that includes a real 3d model for every aircraft you might never own? Lets say ED for would ask 35 dollars for the wholesale package. A lot of people would own a NS430 for modules they don't even own. If you buy it on a module by module basis, you pay only for what you really need and don't have to cover the costs for other people's modules yourself. I don't know, is probably either a way steeper package price or a faily small per aircraft price. Not sure which to prefer myself.
  12. Have been using this for a very long time now and its incredigly handy and a pleasure to use, so thanks for your efforts! Two things i feel would make it a tiny bit more convinient; when altering a profile and saving it (correct me if i am missing something here), you always have to type a new profile name. I don't see a simple 'save profile' button. I thus always type in the old profiles name and override. Second; i would love to have a ''one-stop-shop'' deactivate/activate profile button right on the main menu that removes/adds all mods to make updating DCS even simpler. I know, its not much work, but right now you first have to select all mods from the mod-list and click disable, run the DCS updater, and then click through ovgmes top taps to renable a given profile. Again, its just my take on what would make it incredibly easy and convinient to use. Its already incredibly useful the way it is now. Cheers mate!
  13. Finally installed tacview (getting a bit into BVR stuff atm), this will sure help me to better grasp what is going on around me :) Two questions though; 1.) I am within the trial period and i have looked at the feature comparison of the starter, standard and advanced versions and i am not sure what ''advanced telemtry'' actually entails? 2.) The reason why i installed tacview now was to see which aircraft's radar cone was illuminating other aircraft at which point in time. I take it that radar cones are not a thing as of yet? You mentioned quite some time ago that this might materialize in tacview 2.0, is this still in the cards?
  14. So, this thing is for non military missions only then? Can't use it with the gunsight installed let alone the L-39ZA?
  15. wow...that was quick! Exactly what i was looking for, thx mate!
  18. Those 50/50 split comparison videos like back in the day would be highly appreciated. Best way to showcase the difference between vanilla or modded imo. Did you do those yourself Mustang, or was that someone else?
  19. BTW; adding Vulkan does not equate to actually being a proper linux port, right? Does anyone know how much work (and upkeep as well of course) it takes to make a game run natively well on linux once you have taken the graphics api hurdle? I kinda fear albeit Vulkan would make it way easier to make a proper linux version of DCS, ED might want to shy away from having to maintain two DCS world versions and simply stay with the numbers, which is windows atm.
  20. I just hope ED will at least reconsider doing something about the inability to slightly change the campaigns so we can add at least two client slots. Me and my brother both own the A-10C and Red Flag campaings. For the campaigns accompanying a module its quite easy to set them up for mulitplayer and have a blast with a real wing man. But playing the Red Flags together....narda! I am not asking for a complete coop rework, just let us edit them, we have both purchased it. Especially since the payed campaings were moved to the new keyless DRM system, there must be a way to let us tweak them and still key them protected so that only those wo own them can fly them.
  21. apparently you found a ghost :) Some people were complaining that they were not remotely able to induce VRS in the Gazelle. Sure let us know whether its really VRS or whether it turns out to be something buggy or such.
  22. @dimitriov May i suggest the following: as you stated earlier in this thread, the 2,3,4 man coop missions in the multiplayer folder are old, non working test versions that we don't need. I have looked at them as well and you cannot not even slot up when hosting those in multiplayer. Additionally, these missions are pre 2.5 era and thus do not contain any of the adjustments you made when the reworked caucasus map dropped. Essentially, these missions are 97,4 mbs of wasted space on our harddrives, which get redownloaded each time we do an repair or update. Thus if i may; delete those obsolete mission files from the module and replace them with a straight copy of the current single player campaign files, albeit with the 'player' to 'client' tweak. Maybe add a txt stating that correct multiplayer performance has not been tested and is not guaranteed, but two man coop in a single Gazelle should at least work out of the box. If you don't have the time to do it yourself, i can send you the tweaked missions i you like.
  23. Ah, that sounds great. Did you do that just now or is this a pending issue?
  24. So, whats the best to way in 2018 to play the campaign in 2 man coop? The 2,3,4 man coop versions in the mutiplayer folder are very if i recall correctly. Simply open the single player campaign missions one by one in the editor and exchange 'player' for 'client? We would be playing 2 man coop only, so we wouldn't need a second Gazelle. Thus there shouldn't be any trigger/script problems right? Cause if one player dies, the other one goes down as well.
  25. So i have noticed for a while, that for some of my installed aircrafts campaigns' i do not see an english description in the DCS 2.5.2 campaign menu. In my case that is for the SU-25T Georgian Oil War, the SU-27 Fortress Mozdok and the A-10C Georgian Hammer (no CA). The CA version has the englich description. I have opend these campaigns in the campaign builder, there is a lot of other languages missing also. I am only concernd with the english ones, but i guess it should be fixed for all language versions.
