I would enjoy sending a couple of anti-ship missiles at the carriers making the Tomcat dudes not so invincible any more ;) (in the future)

It would have been nice with the 500kg Brandbomb m/58 (napalm) :music_whistling:

That would be the UltraMFCD application (https://ultramfcd.com)- as soon as it is working properly again. Check this thread to keep yourself updated about that: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=155131 Until then, you need to hack the lua files manually. There might be some Android/Ios tablet solutions as well, but have no details or experience about that.

No typo. My point is that the movie was made during the time of design of the Viggen (mid-to late 60's), so obviously no Viggens in the movie - but if there was a film about Viggens some years later it would not be much different. Since STRIL and doctrines etc was pretty much the same - enhanced and improved of course.
-
Slightly off topic movie from the times of Viggen development. The concept and doctrines was however pretty much the same when Viggen was put in to service, so a film made in the late 70'ies wouldn't be much different. In some way this movie put's a Swedish airframe in the correct context. [ame] [/ame] Yes, yet another Swedish film, but this one has english subtitles.

The first time I was shooting with that gun I believed I was shooting two rounds, even though I really tried to shoot single rounds. Eventually I understood that it was the moving mechanism that felt as the second round :music_whistling:

Hm... I'm pretty sure it is possible with multiple viewports and an exported HUD etc. However that would require a pretty good PC setup. I would try to do one viewport that is spanning over both monitors (though not exactly what you asked for).

Yes, there is a IFF device (IK in Swedish) that is called PN79(x). Here is a film about it (unfortunately in Swedish without subtitles): [ame]http://www.aef.se/Filmer/PN-79.wmv[/ame]

Here is a document in english about the CK37: [ame]http://www.datasaab.se/Papers/Articles/Viggenck37.pdf[/ame]

Yes, then I understand. The successor, Ikarus, that will be released shortly is a lot better in that aspect. Regarding that enable/disable function I think I had to replace the export files again to get it working...

What are you referring to as more advanced in Helios?

HawgTouch - Free Panels & Gauges for A-10C

I would check again that the export files are correct, since it is there the magic starts. -
Buy a couple of ULN2803 chips. I have them form my breakout boards, and they are cheap and easy (doesn't require any additional components like pullup resistors etc). I use them for all my outputs, in order to ease off the current load on the Arduino board. And as others already stated - the better diffusion the less LED's are required. Personally I would focus on getting all in and outputs sorted out before I proceed with the bling-blings. I assumed that you where about to handle the large amount of I/O's with the BUS system and mini's?
-
Try with HawgTouch or Ikarus and see if you have the same problem there. Then you can sort out in what end you have the issue.

Not dead, but still some things to sort out as far as I can tell from this thread: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=155131&page=25

What is the FPS level when this happens? - Just realized you provided that info already. Seems that the data feed is affected when the system is to busy rendering the scenario... I think there is a value for the poll frequency (or something like that) that can be altered.
-
None yet, but I'm more or less done with the design. Just have to order them...
-
Nice pappavis. I have chosen another concept, with generic communication boards and external breakout boards for input and output.

If everyone had a force feedback joystick this would be much easier to simulate properly I assume...

There is no such thing as a too strong PSU. If the consumer board needs a certain wattage it will only "pull" that amount from the power supply. So having something that is rated 1A can be supplied with a PSU rated 100A without any problem. If the PSU is rated 0.5A you will have a problem. Normally you need to have the correct voltage though.

Haven't really considered selling them, but I can try to get an approximate shipping qoute and decide my price. I'll be back.

Have you tried any other resolution/format on the HDMI signal? The current signal might be out of range for this controller...

This might be interesting as well :) https://www.american-milspec.com/p-1295-military-aircraft-lighted-display-panel-160d180168-7-d.aspx

Last summer I was about to build an A-10C pit - or at least some panels. This idea resulted in my first try to order a PCB from China and I started with the fairly simple NMSP. I realized that I would never find the original buttons, nor did I have the tools, know how or time to build any by my self. So I considered the Digitast buttons as a pretty good compromise. Eventually I dropped the plans for a Warthog and decided to go for the MIG-21. However that plan was also cancelled the moment I heard about the Viggen :) So, here I am with 5 NMSP boards I will never use (and also some Thrustmaster MFD's). Perhaps someone could use this as an inspiration, either regarding the buttons or doing your own boards in any builds.

Isn't the Master Caution sketch the template referred to?
