  1. The command name in the options is "Nav Update/Magic unlock", sorry I gave you the wrong name initially. What are you calling BAV ? There is nothing with this name on the 2000C.
  2. Hi, Looks like you are mixing modes here. Close combat modes are selected using the weapon system forward and backward commands. These close combat modes force the radar into emission. Which command activates which mode is listed in the manual, section 20 - 5, page 317. When selected, the MAGICs are executing their own search pattern independently from the radar. The search pattern can be changed using the MAGIC search/vertical fix command. The different MAGIC search patterns are described in the manual, section 10 - 3, page 110. Hope it helps.

  4. I think you are misunderstanding something, MiCRoB second stage is the command you need to press and hold to fire the weapon.

  6. Hi, What command are you using and what weapon are you trying to fire ?
  7. The module simulates a French Air Force Mirage 2000C RDI S5. The only air-to-air missiles that this aircraft is able to carry are the Super 530D and the MAGIC II missiles. We don't plan to develop any other Mirage 2000 variant at this time. Thanks.
  8. If this is how you judge the authenticity of the module, I don't know what to say to you. I'm sorry that we cannot meet your quality expectation because of an optional tooltip. Why are we talking about advantages ? Is DCS a competitive game ? I really don't get why it's such an issue, you guys can just disable it.....
  9. The option is staying, it's a little removable gamification that does nothing to reduce the quality or possible enjoyment of the module.
  10. Hi, The RWR should be re-done in the near future, all the sounds should change. The volume does work, you wight not be using the correct knob. The knob is located on the volume panel, aft of the radar panel. Thanks.

  13. Hi, If this problem only occurs on Syria, I would agree that the issue comes from the fact that the map is very demanding. You could try to increase the size of your operating system disk page file, this helped me with performances on this map. Thanks.

  18. Hi, I which weapon mode does the HUD changes ? And what are the changes ? There is some elements that can move down and the pitch ladder will move depending on the selected weapon.
  19. Hey guys, In the last OB update (2.7.9.17830 - 23/12/2021) we updated the Super 530D missile among other things. We have prepared a document that explains the changes made to the missile and sources them when possible. S530D port to the new API The missile is not final yet and might still require some changes to the guidance laws in order to make full use of the new missile API.   20. Hi everyone, Just like Kercheiz said, the fix to the bug is available here: DCS_M-2000C_2.7.9_Non_ASCII_User_folder_Crash_Fix.zip Keep in mind that it will break the integrity check. The fix has been sent to ED and will be available in the next update. Sorry about this, unfortunately none of our tester had non ASCII characters in their windows username.
  21. Hi, the VTH power switch has 3 position: OFF - ON - TEST. Make you you are in the ON position and not the TEST position.

  23. Hi, I updated the link in the first post, the most up to date manual is now the RC7. The mods folder manual will also be updated to the RC7 version in the upcoming DCS update. Sorry I forgot to update the link here when deleting the old one.
  24. As said above, the Mirage 2000C RDI only operated with Super 530D and MAGIC II missiles (IIRC it is compatible with MAGIC I also) and could only carry 4 missiles total. We can't compromise the realism of the module to be more "competitive" in multiplayer. In a period accurate environnement (late 80' and 90'), Soviet/Russian aircraft were mostly using SARH and IR guided missiles and for US aircraft, AIM-120A/B were available but only in small number and not compatible with every aircraft. In this context, the Mirage 2000C RDI is not the best aircraft available but it's still dangerous.
  25. Hi, While the specific aircraft modeled would represent a late 2010' update IIRC, the aircraft remained mostly the same since its introduction in the late 80'. From the first Mirage 2000C with RDI radar to the current ones still flown today, only some rather minor improvements were made to the avionics (decoy launcher indicator panel, waypoint increment/decrement buttons...), NCTR was added to the radar for the Kosovo war, and the latest update in the mid 2010' was to update the cockpit for NVG use. TLDR: The aircraft can will correctly reflect the capabilities of a Mirage 2000C RDI from the late 80' up until today.
