I am fairly sure that program 3 only releases chaff and program 4 only releases flares. Also, it should be available somewhere, a piece of paper that shows what program releases what, I will try to find it for you.

Great article! Thanks for this, I'm sure this will be a killer module!

I too would be very interested in the differences in these bombs, in fact I have never heard of these bombs either, I was unaware of the fact that aircraft dropped Central Processing Units and Ground Power Units as weapons.

** UPDATE: F-14 Flight Model - Episode I - "The Basics" **
MrDieing replied to Cobra847's topic in DCS: F-14A & B
Fantastic! If you guys manage to kill this one like you say you will and I quote Cobra: "Heads and shoulders above the Viggen", this will be my favorite module heads down and I might even skip on the Hornet. Yes, I just said that for real. -
Strike Eagle? Im fairly sure that project got put in the cold for now, its also not on their current roadmap so IF they were to revive this, it is going to be years, and not your usual DCS years but maybe even a decade.

Great to hear, thanks for the quick response and solution!

First of all, congratulations on this campaign, from what I have seen so far its amazing and Im sure it will only get better. Now, when I was playing Mission 2 earlier today, I encountered a problem of sorts. I neutralized the Fulcrums and a couple of Fencers, not sure how many. I was ordered to anchor at Waypoint 3 and proceeded in that direction. After a few seconds, I recieved the option to divert to Kutaisi. After a quick look at my fuel gauge I figured it probably would be a good idea to head there. I used the F10 radio option and proceeded to land at Kutaisi. I parked, turned everything off and left the mission. It was then that I realized that the mission was not actually registered as 'completed'. I had to play it again as if I had failed the mission. So, did I do something wrong, or is this a bug in the mission? I do remember from Mission 1 that it said Mission Completed before I diverted to Kutaisi. Should I have refueled and head for WP3? Or should I head to WP3 first and then for Kutaisi? Thanks in advance, MrDieing I

1944 Spitfire version
MrDieing replied to Black Witch - Blaggards's topic in DCS: Spitfire L.F. Mk. IX
And it is funny for me how people always ignore these (true) comments which make the discussion pretty much irrelevant, and carry on like they never read it and project their own views on how the game should be and what should be in it. -
Guys, this thread is almost two years old, no need to answer the questions anymore... pay some attention.

Correct, this will be a DLC campaign, most likely priced around $10. There is already a campaign included with the module on the Caucasus theater, also developed by Baltic Dragon, so you can expect something similar.

Someone enlighten me on how this kind of manouvreability is useful in modern air combat?

I was there, it was so beautiful

Im not really at home in all the military news stations out there, but is this a reliable source or would this count as just another estimated guess trying to look legit?

About the whole manhour fuss.. You guys do realize that every member or members of their team has their own craftsmanship, so there is 3D Modelling, texturing, animations, coding and God knows what else there is. Half of the modules discussed here are already in the coding phase which usually takes the most time by far. So what do you do with the rest of the crew that does not know how to code but can only model? Right, you think of something new, you think ahead, you think about the future. And everytime they do that, and show it to the public, 50% of the people lose their shit and get hyped, the other 50% starts nagging about 'unfinished modules like the M2K' and 'they already are working on 5 new planes while they have not even finished 1'. I mean seriously, lets the developers do their job and we will do ours, which is buy their product, enjoy it and provide them with valuable feedback after we have acutally flown the thing. If we leave all the rest to them then this community would be so much better.

Just manually update through Command Prompt, works fine for me.

You should pay attention, plenty of pics of Harrier in new lighting on Normandy. EDIT: And even on Nevada.

DCS: F-14A/A+/B by Heatblur Simulations coming to DCS World!
MrDieing replied to Cobra847's topic in DCS: F-14A & B
Thats pushing it, Im saying four weeks. Give them some time to create the full flight model and code all the systems. It takes atleast three weeks if you want to do it well. Perhaps some texturing and bug fixing left and right but that should be done in a few days. So four weeks boys, then we have our kitty. Oh, and I have never been wrong before. -
Still not working on this side unfortunately..

Same here. Link seems broken now.
