Thanks for that! And yes, in hindsight 750 was actually quite a lot :D

Lately the fact that there is one thread where two aircraft are being discussed at the same time, has itched me. Thats why I created this thread, to keep it all organized and clear for everybody. There is not an awful lot known about this module yet but as time progresses and more news comes I will update this thread including pictures. For now this will be a comprehensive overview of the variant that we are getting, the Mi-24P. I also suggest that we continue future discussion on this module here in order to prevent two discussions running through each other. Oof, this is going to be one of those module that I'm not going to be interested in at first but end up buying it anyway.. Looking good boys!

The fact that you can enable/disable this piece of equipment makes this entire discussion invalid :).

Dont even try dude.. There are two camps when it comes to the M2K. Camp 1 says the M2K is broken as all hell and nothing works as it should, bug this bug that, RAZBAM get your shit together! Camp 2 takes it as it is and enjoys her, patiently waits for updates because, lets face it, money needs to be put on the table, and the only way to do that is work on new modules and release them. But hey, what do I know. Please don't shoot me.

Nothing much more to add except what has been said above. Its a shame but the hard reality of this genre. Also, I suggest you try and use the search option on the forums or even Google, you most likely would have found your answer in the same time it took you to write this post.

For now, no, you have to manually create a flight plan each time you spawn. Perhaps in the future this will be possible.

People seem to forget how much effort its takes to make things like this, let alone production cost. Nagging about a few bucks for something you can have hours of fun with. For this money you buy yourself a meal which you eat in 10 minutes and your body processes it in 1 hour, and I dont here anybody complaining about that.

Having trouble changing the fields on the NavMAP page. Anyone else?
-
Most likely not. As far as I can tell this is a so called client side addon, something only a certain player sees and not an entire server. So far its also not possible to enable or disable the GPS anywhere, that would be the ME, rearming menu or a whole different variant of the helo. So no, its just as any other plane module, if you dont have it, you cant use it and in this particular case you also cant see it.

Well that depends on the vision and expectations you have for and from this game. By the way, everything in life costs money, life is expensive ;)

For the people who are sceptical and have doubts, just realize that this is a BST addon. And when exactly has BST not delivered? Have some trust, give these guys a little cash if you have some to spare, enjoy their product and give them morale to keep doing what they do. I bought it and I must say, its an amazing little tool and I cant wait for it to get better and come to other modules.
-
Its up for grabbing already people, seems like they fixed the problem. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/shop/modules/ns430/

So does anybody else have trouble aquiring this? For me it says that it requires another product, even though I have the Mi-8. Bought it back in the day when it still was in open beta, perhaps that has something to do with it?
-
So whats the deal now? I downloaded the update and I am eager to try this out, unable to find it anywere ingame nor on the site.

And in case you cant see in on the kneeboard, here is a part from Chucks Guide of the M2000C, all credits to him and a great read by the way. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-uSpZROuEd3V1B0QmhHbEdMcTg/view

I am fairly sure that program 3 only releases chaff and program 4 only releases flares. Also, it should be available somewhere, a piece of paper that shows what program releases what, I will try to find it for you.

Great article! Thanks for this, I'm sure this will be a killer module!

I too would be very interested in the differences in these bombs, in fact I have never heard of these bombs either, I was unaware of the fact that aircraft dropped Central Processing Units and Ground Power Units as weapons.

** UPDATE: F-14 Flight Model - Episode I - "The Basics" **
MrDieing replied to Cobra847's topic in DCS: F-14A & B
Fantastic! If you guys manage to kill this one like you say you will and I quote Cobra: "Heads and shoulders above the Viggen", this will be my favorite module heads down and I might even skip on the Hornet. Yes, I just said that for real. -
Strike Eagle? Im fairly sure that project got put in the cold for now, its also not on their current roadmap so IF they were to revive this, it is going to be years, and not your usual DCS years but maybe even a decade.

Great to hear, thanks for the quick response and solution!
