  1. Agreed, in fact, doing Aerial Refueling as the 7th mission after your 'basic' flying missions seems quite.. early to say the least.
  2. AFAIK 3rd parties get asked if they want to participate in a sale. Polychop probably refused for what ever reason or maybe did not respond at all to the question, who knows.
  3. No, you will have to switch back to Stable branch manually
  4. No, you will have to switch back to release branch manually.
  5. I dont think ED realized what they unleashed by putting it black on white that the F-16C is coming, even though most of us knew it...
  6. This is not a surprise at all. I recall Wags stating and I quote: 'Its not a matter of if, but when'. But you can all keep your panties dry for a good few years, because this is still DCS ;)
  7. RIP, Fly High!
  8. And yet another thread full of spoiled kids or even worse, spoiled grown-ups, making demands and stopping to fly it over little things. Much love for the internet! They will get it done, they are either taking a well deserved brake or something is wrong with one of the devs, God knows what. In the mean time, why dont we all enjoy the fancy new graphics and quite crying ;)
  9. For me, manually copying over Nevada also did the trick. Then I pressed No when it prompted to copy from 2.2 and delete after, and then suddenly it started copying files from 2.2 whilest earlier it did not lol. It were only a few files though, now I only have 12gb left on the download, wich seems to be the normal update size.
  10. And how would one do such thing?
  11. Lets all agree to disagree. The people who want to complain, go and complain some more and the other people who want to wait, go and wait some more. Now we should probably go back on topic ;)
  12. Can't argue against that ;)
  13. Sounds like a psychological border you build yourself and you do not know what you are missing out on.
  14. You guys draw your own conclusions way too fast and miss three things: 1. Insight in the world of the developers (Everything from private situation, to business actions, to actually developing complex sim software) 2. Understanding 3. Patience
  15. I cringe everytime I see the words 'I want' or 'We want'. Let me tell you something, you and we get stuff. Amen
  16. Just remember, that its very difficult to keep such thing under control if they communicate via other ways then this forum. Not to mention that the way I understand this he is trying to break even which in my opinion does not define selling.
  17. Probably only F-14B Upgrade and onward, because they utilize a EGI. Don't quote me on that though
  18. Same here, Im quite sure she is called the F-14, not the A-14 :D All fun aside, very nice gesture and looking good HB! My money is burning in my wallet..
  19. According to a fellow DCS'er on YouTube it was $55 when it released in 1999, which would be, taking in consideration inflation, $80 nowadays.
  20. All hobbies are expensive, especially one that involves a (high-end) PC and then there is the issue of ED and partners being too damn good at what they do.. If this is all really too expensive for you and some other guys I suggest you wait for a sale or you start collecting poststamps, its probably cheaper.
  21. From a business point of view this is totally not viable. The way I know ED is that if Heatblur provides them with an EA build and they approve it, it will just go into the normal pre-purchase and EA phase. Unless its really close to the Hornet, like within a month of the Hornet Release, they might postpone, but not if its ready for EA in March and the Hornet is ready in June (Worst case) Just because it has never happened before does not mean it never will ;)
  22. I agree on everything already said here on why the price is more then fair. They could gone with a $100 and a pre-purchase price of $80 and it would still be fair IMO..
  23. I think its pure guessing as we have not heard anything about it, so we cant really say which one is going to be here first. Fact is they are busy and both are not in the not to distant future, if that makes sense ;)
  24. Good luck with this beauty! Day one for me!
  25. As far as I know, buying a module on Steam gives you a Steam key, thus making it only usable on Steam. With exception to the modules that were released on Steam before the Mirage.
