  1. The models are completely made by me sir, and yes, I have made some pennies out of that abilities. It was not supposed to be my area of responsibility, that´s why he is not in the team anymore. Anyhow, thank you for your advices.
  2. Also regarded as more maneuverable than the Bis by pilots, even if the later have much more thrust and better enigne.
  3. My friend, you need to relax about this. :D Let´s try to get one or two good 3D artist first.
  4. But the Lancer C is based on MiG-21Bis, only Lancer A is based on MiG-21MF.
  5. Most of the data is already available.
  6. Well, I did not receive a PM from you. ;)
  7. That´s no subversive at all, in fact the models still need some additions and corrections.
  8. I´m sorry, but that looks really good! I now don´t understand the depressed feeling.:D
  9. I myself no, that´s why I´m asking for someone with the capabilities to join. Slightly below some aircraft present in game. I would like that also.:D
  10. I forgot to say it before, the MiG-23 model is based on MiG-23MLA, an MLD variants is possible but we still lack some important info abou it. The other aircraft is a MiG-19P as some of you suggested.
  11. Thank you all for your aswers and feedback. Some years of mechanical design sure have an impact. Don´t be depressed, I think that to be a critic of your own work is a very important thing. About time, a month per aircraft and about 3 weeks for the cockpit.
  12. Ok, brief and simple: I´m part of a team of three people that would like to ask for a third party license to develop modules for DCS. What make us think that we can? 1) One of us is an aerospace engineer with acces to data about several aicraft and have real world experience on them. 2) Two of us know how to code in C++ and have worked on military simulators before. The problem is, we used to have a fourth person, a 3d artist, but after some time and many words but zero work, we are looking for a new one. If somebody is interested and have the knowledge, please PM me to get into detail. Hope that was brief. :D
  13. Come on, you asked so hard for it... :D 8k skins ready to download. Follow the above post link. (Sorry, I´m bored right now):music_whistling:
  14. I can´t comment on speed right now (I´m on memory), but on all other parameters, the mig-29 is superior clean and at combat weight.
  15. Thanks guys, hope you all like it, even if it´s not a finished work yet. :) I will try to add more countries in the future.
  16. As promised... :D https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=2964029#post2964029
  17. As promised in the Belsimtek MiG-15 subforum here you have three 8k skins. They still may need some work, but so far this is what I can release for now. Also, the files are single, there´s not description or instructions on how to use them in DCS. I hope you all know how to do it. 18. I think that will be kind of hard?:music_whistling: This is a complex subject, from both sides. First, not all S75 systems are the same, and second, a SA-2 misile fired at you using the optic channel will warn you when it hit you. At first (years ago), Jun is right that all you where getting was a lock warning and anything else, but as time has passed and intelligence has been gathered it may not be the same again. Only modern SAMs (or updated ones) can enojoy that privilege.
  19. Well, the US had been able to analyze eastern hardware in the form of German MiG-29A, Moldavian MiG-29S and Ukranian Su-27s, I can only assume that from then on the RWR is prepared to detect such telemetry, at least from those early variants. Maybe all is different now for newer developments.
  20. This, most of the time. No, it can´t. (I edited this, I was thinking in another thing while writing):D Yes, it´s a different antenna, but you need the radar screen active to see it of course.
  21. Most of that footage is taken in air shows or while flying in formation. The throttle needs to be adjusted constantly in those cases. There are plenty of videos out there that show smokeless MiG-29s. I think I remember two 29s flying alongside a Su-26. That video is a good example. If you look well, even the F-22 has this trail. It´s common to almost every aircraft. Depending on RPM you will have more or less smoke.
  22. It was designed to fullfil both roles as a matter of fact including a bit of ground pounding.
  23. I don't know that the deal is with the smokey engines - I have heard an explanation that it is down to the design of RD-33's combustion chamber, but I suspect it may also have a lot to do with tuning or/and fuel type. The engines (early) will only release smoke when the throttle is moving, because of a design characteristic when adjusting combustion increases/decreases. If the throttle is steady or changing between AB regimes, it will be smokeless. Also, smokeless engines are available years ago and can be mounted in any MiG-29 variant. I´m sure it´s not. Can we agree that you know as much about article 88 engines as I know about CPUs interconnect design? Disclaimer: I don´t know anything about CPU design.:D
  24. In fact, it´s not a small difference at all. True thing is that in the air this is not relevant. Only the earlier versions. A MiG-29 will out-turn, out-climb and out-accelerate a Su-27 and a F-15.
