Thanks Razor, sounds like zoom and boom is the only option. It's near impossible to get rid of a Spitfire from the 6, only chance with speed. But why is the Spitfire so much better in turning without losing energy?

Feels like the Spitfire is doing 12G turns without losing any energy. It's hard to beat the Spit in a turn fight, even with low fuel. Any Tips?

I noticed this too, sometimes the UFC is rejecting the input. It works with changing the last digits, but that's not like intended.

I can hear the click clack, but the stick (in cockpit) will not stay in position and jumps back to center. I tried both options, default and Central position trimmer mode. Got a HOTAS Warthog Stick, so it's not FFB.

The texture patch for BS2 is for free, i don't understand what the problem is? ED is doing there job and they need to be paid for. I got the same, yesterday i tryed to pickel the GBU-12 in Auto mode with a JTAC. I tryed both, LSS and TV, without Tpod. I noticed a change on the HUD below LSS, there was RAUT before, is replaced with BAUT ? Every Time when i tryed to Pickel the CCRP queuing line disappeared and the NO Weapons Symbol came up ////

Do autorotation training, if you can land without the engine, you do much better with an engine. I promise, after a couple attempts you understand the physics and you made it :thumbup:

You compare Motorcycles with a Bus, you know what I mean? I had the same problem, the engine RPM drops by lowering the collective. You need to rise the collective much earlier, because if you rise it to late and to fast, you lose your rotor RPM, because the engine can't keep up fast enough. Watch decent rate and RPM. --- Or much better.. a Gazelle compared with a Cow :laugh: With a full loaded truck you need more time to break than with a car, you know.

I got the same, Trim is dead. Force Trim switch is on! Centrel trimmer mode is in the options selected. The Trim button on the Stick is mapped, can see the movement of the button in cockpit, but without effect. --- i tryed to delet the profiles and remap the bindings, but Trim is still dead. --- Update: I have delted and reinstalled the module, now everyting is fine, backup profile is good :thumbup:

We missing the Engine override function and ITT/EGT at all. In the Sim we can't use the Thrust above Temperature Limits.. and that's the missing Thrust, at least. I mentioned this a while ago, I have provide some Dokuments to proof it.. but it was not allowed to post classified dokuments, and my post was deleted. I was a bit angry about this.. im sorry for that DEVs There is no doubt the engine is missing something... Stuck in the dirt with full Thrust for ages without any engine Fire and damage looks not really realistic. It would be great when the devs put some love in.. when they have time.. I will pay for a Suit upgrade with HMS and realistic engine model !

Ok, thank you... that explains everything The Huey is missing EGT at all... so its not the MI-8

I created a misson with -50℃ and could not start the engines due to the low temperature. So i turned on the combustion heater but aint saw any change on the hyd temp and the engine was not abel to spoll up. I tryed to spoll up the HUEY with -50℃ no problem, but the MI-8 fail. So i guess there is a BUG...

Forget the TGP in close combat, its like room clearing with binoculars. I use the TGP above 20nm, in close combat look out of the window to pick something up.

An 7.62 AP round can punch trough 12mm of steel, the back and the top of a BTR is protected with 7mm. I think its ok how it is...

I did some tests past days, the mi-8 can fly with one engine and closed throttle on 100% fuel. Horse power should be enough, but sometimes its still a mysterie why 2 engines and open throttle cant spool up? How ever, i did practice on one engine flying and autorotation. Im getting better...

Yes, weight is a huge factor, but i want do the best results with 100% fuel, because when i learned the huey and he is much more forgivin, i loaded 50% and later when i started my first coupel mission on blueflag and 104th with a overloded chopper i failed.

During a landing aproach by lowering the collective, the engine RPM drops from 90% to 75% At the transition to a hover, sometimes the engine is to slow to back up to 90% ending up in a vortex ring state. Feels like a lack of horse power? I try to prevent this by holding the RPM at 90% But in some situations its unfavorabel and its necessary to max down collective for descend. How you deal with the RPM drop? Have the mi8 a governor switch like the huey? Whats better with the MI-8 left or right turn landing? How to not smash the cow down in to the dirt? ---- A nice landing from the manual is not a problem, i want to talk about combat landings, the aerobatic kind. For exemple, yesterday i did a landing with a 300kph descend max down collective full left ruder, near ground pull stick full right ruder, to do a 180, in to a left sideslip right turn 360 landing. Some times the RPM drop is messing everything up at such maneuvers. I want to master this...
