I set the heading at ground befor takeoff, or simple use the map toll in F10 drawing a line on the runway for the correct heading. -
Wie hast du das gemacht, einfach drauf gesprüht oder richtig aus einander genommen? Ein freund hat seinen geschliffen und eine industrie schmierzeug extra für kunststoff rein. Mir war das bisher immer zu umständlich das ding zu zerlegen.

I remember when i started with dcs and my warthog came. I had no pedals, so i took an xbox gamepad and used my big right toe to control the rudder :lol: Buy pedals, better sooner than later and avoid a lot of pain. If you start with ww2 or helicopters there is no compromis anyway!

Its a secret weapon... you hold the bungee cord with your teeth, and shoot wooden sticks out of the window :D don't underestimate the impact of a 300 mph fast wooden stick, it's a serious weapon!

I did not start up the bird for a Long time, think i forgot to turn on the gyro. My fault... thanks for tryin to help. Thats why the bird freaked out... but the magnetic trim is still a bit weird, most time i use the trim hat. What also bugs me on the Gazelle is to sensitive controles and missing ground effect, translational lift.

Whats wrong with the magnetic trimmer? When i push the stick forward and push the trim, i expect the stick is hold in this positin, but its not. The stick is jumping back to the previous position or even more backward. The stick is jumping around like a uncontrolabel rabbit! Is this a normal behaveior for the gazzele ?! Is this a bug, or may be i dont understand how the crazy bird works? I use a TM warthog stick, FFB option is off... :helpsmilie:

Sorry if im wrong and correct me, i remamber this Problem wehn i started lerning the huey. One time my inverter was off and after shutdown the Battery was empty. But may be the Problem is someting els? I learned to make the startup like in the Manual discribed, and never had Battery Problems again. The running System shold provide enough power to run the System with Battery switch off. My be i forgot this as well... C. STARTER-GENERATOR SWITCH The STARTER GEN switch is located on the DC POWER control panel. The START position permits the starter-generator to function as a starter. The STBY GEN position permits the starter-generator to function as a generator. It would be nice if someone can explain in Detail how the electrical System charges the battery.

INVTR need to be on after engine run up and during the flight, or you drain the Battery empty.

Willst du damit sagen das der kompas die bewegungsrichtung des flugzeuges anzeigt und nicht die richtung in die die flugzeugnase zeigt ??? Das könnte ein Bug sein...

Move in to options axis tune, turn on slider and set the curvature to +1 This have the effect to push the virtual stick all the time a bit forward. So easy is that :thumbup:

I discovered a Datalink bug too, i had send a markpoint, after send, the markpoint was deleted. In a second case i used ingress in combination with a deleted markpoint. Dont know how and why, the markpoint disappeared but was still like a ghost in the system, i saw the rang number to the targed in the hud and was able to use route mode to target but the markpoint in the abris was gone and not selectable in the datalink panel. It was imposible to use a waypoint with route mode from the PVI-800. I tried to power off all systems to reset, no success. What i didnt tried was to request a repair by groundcrew, because a server crash occured right in this moment.

When you fire the Rangefinder in normal mode, Laser is 3 seconds on. In standby mode the Laser is firering the time needed to guide a Missile. Use the reset button to stop the laser. You can see a cound down in your hud by activating the laser. I remamber a post People describing the use of the standby mode for lunching the KH-25ML, but there is no need for. The internal Systems calculating the laser time by range with 1 second + I lunch my KH-25ML in normal mode on 13km without any Problems. You can save this one second with the reset, but thats nonsens. --- I think the only use for the standby mode is for Buddy lasing.

You dont need to lock on every target, lock on only for moveing targets. Every time firering the laser produces heat. (If you lock on every target you fire the range finder too) Push the lock button one time to fire the laser on the dirt to read the range. Move your aiming reticle square on your target and rifle... after impact move to the next target... and so on. After impact you can turn off and on your laser to save some seconds because laser is still on after impact for a few seconds. But thats nonsens, you need to smash your shkval into the ground after your 3. run anyway, to do a repair. or you risk a laser fail in the 4. run. Laser heat is also dependung on weather.
