  1. Here is the final NSAWC skin. Thanks to Mrjollyroger103, who provided images from a few weeks ago, I could add a standard gray NAWDC livery with black parts. Also the VX-31 CONA paint scheme from 2011 in two variants which differ in very little details such as the antennas color, maintenance indications and CoNA symbol.
  2. I'm currently working on my own VX-31 CoNA. On your skin I noticed: - black lerx - black sun reflector area in front of the windshield is glossy, usually mat black - "DANGER" text on the jet intake to big - actual orange/red, white and gray paints are slightly incorrect on many airframe parts - colored US symbol to small - colored US symbol placed slightly wrong on the wings - warning symbol on the canopy frame visible - to many maintenance indications, there are less to none, depending on the variant - depending on the variant, the antennas are colored or stay standard. I can't name all the antennas specifically but on the bottom of the aircraft I believe TACAN & UHF are always colored in orange. - seams & rivets are all highly visible, at least on photos they are almost non visible from just a few meters away - warning and ejection seat color wrong - small NAVY text below the 5210 number - multiple parts not colored

    To my knowledge the NSAWC Code 23, blue aggressor paint scheme, is already finished next to the VFA-122 CONA while the VFA-34 CAG is in progress as well.

  8. Indeed dozens, and you are still adding another one without any new information. If you read carefully threw the linked thread you will see that ED can be made aware of problems/bugs regarding blast damage. If you create a thread about this bug and want it reported, provide tracks to ED. Regarding the cows, it was CLEARLY stated that these don't slow down any other developments. You forgot the World behind DCS. This is a combat simulation taking place in real life environments.
  9. 1) The text markings for the maintenance crew are all visible, whereas on the real variant they aren't 3) In the template this layer is called "ladder" it is the black stripe that moves along the LERX on both sides, it is not, perhaps barely visible 4) The very first antenna below the formation lights is or was colored black 6) Take a look at the VFC-12 Splinter livery in DCS, these are the correct red stars. 7) Just in front of the LERX fence, is a part of the ladder layer colored gray, it is an error on the template Yes, I know this is getting really nitpicky but some other things I noticed, except 1. 1) The gray ladder part 2-3) A few parts not colored in white and black on the nose and above the NAVY text (marked in red) 5) All pylons are colored black below as well as both fuselage station attachments 6) colored in blue 7) some paint errors 8 ) colored in blue

  12. Just wanted to leave this as an advice to reduce file size and download time. Placing these two files into a file folder should get this to work with OVGME or JSGME right away.
  13. That's quite a lot of file size for a "quick" fix. I believe all the other 67 files that don't affect the HUD glass could be removed.
  14. As mentioned previously in this thread, there might be variants without this, perhaps even the Lot 20. Hence this is visible on Swiss Hornets and not on US Navy Hornets.
  15. I'm not sure how this would affect performance but I'd like to see this too.
  16. The positioning of a single LAU-68 rocket pod on the AV-8B's inner and outer pylons is to high. They are placed through the pylons. The F/A-18C is not affected by this problem. I believe, it's due to the new LAU-68 3d model that came with today's OpenBeta update. The inner pylon is loaded with training rounds while the outer pylon contains HE rockets.
  17. The LAU-68 rocket pods seem to be placed wrong with Update 6 after their 3d model has been updated.
  18. You're not going to see at least 3 or 4 of these aircraft you mentioned, any time soon. Especially the 5th gen aircraft. Implementing new AI aircraft involves more work than just the 3d model. For the modern era, I would like to see new units for the red side, best example is Deka Ironworks' China Assets Pack.
  19. Komplett finde ich ein wenig übertrieben, ihre Existenz trägt dennoch zur Immersion bei. Wobei es wieder auffallend ist wenn sie sich kaum vom Fleck rühren während mehrere hundert Kilogramm TNT direkt vor ihrer Weide landen.

Die einzelnen Zahlen zwischen den ersten zwei Kommas spezifizieren welcher Texturtyp abgerufen werden soll. 0: Diffuse Texturen 1: Normal maps 2: RoughMet Texturen 3: Decals/Symbole Einige Texturen, wie Pilot, Schleudersitz, Cockpit, Engine nozzles oder eben die Decals/Symbole werden leider nicht mit zu den Templates hinzugefügt. Für die F-15C findest du diese ganzen Texturen unter Bazar/Textures/f-15 Für die F/A-18C unter CoreMods/aircraft/FA-18C/Textures/FA-18C
  21. Compression to DXT1 or DXT5 with mipmaps generated, it will only export the chosen layer. So merge all layers down to one in another XCF file. Or export to .png, open it and re-export to .dds format.
  22. Anyone can tell me where I can find these parts inside the red circle from the front landing gear door on the template?
  23. I'm not exactly sure for Finland & Switzerland but definitely for Kuwait, if a part of it is still present you need to try and change the other countries. The 0 will call up Diffuse textures, while 1 represents Normal maps and 2 RoughMet textures.
