  1. This is the first variant of the F/A-18B, BuNo 163104, VMFAT-101 Aggressor Splinter livery, the second and final one this Training Squadron has, is in progress as well. Some camo parts, especially the wings, aren't fairly accurate and would be made more accurate if possible. This and the second skin will be released together on the User Files as soon as the next one is finished. I also plan to update the pilots textures to give it a Navy & Marines look.

  4. I'm recreating the F/A-18B 163104, bortnumber 12 and the F/A-18A 163130, bortnumber 26, aggressor paint schemes. I still need to add some light digital gray on the wings and tail, after adjustments are made it will be complete.

  8. I had stutters during first flights. However after a couple of missions they completely disappeared.
  9. Do you plan to make a much more clean, much less weathered version just like the original? Making the colors more visible and clear. Also something I noticed is that the area directly below the slats is colored in a dark gray.
  10. Great work on that sound design! But why is it so difficult to integrate that little scream, when transitioning from full power to idle?

  12. The MiG-29SMT with the bortnumber 918 received an update including new textures for the external wing fuel tanks, pylons and landing gear parts. Also the three main colors have been updated while all textures have been switched to dds. files.

    This file contains a single livery based on the Su-33 RF-33705, bort number 60. You can download it here from the User Files. The skin in these screenshots is upgraded with watermanpc's RoughMet textures, the original RF-33705 skin file does not include these, you'll have to add them manually.

    Rain Effects

    There is much potential for the rain effects to improve immersion. I'm thinking about the water on the canopy being lit up by light (e.g. interior lighting), especially visible at night. Or once taxiing out of the shelter, the rain starts to plop down & more.
  16. Problem won't be solved because whether for FC or not, the requirements for data and information are the same. FC level aircraft still require PFM, and working systems as these are ED's standards for modules. You will never get any of these aircraft in DCS World anytime soon, especially the russian airframes.
  17. Indeed. I was thinking about this yesterday as well when checking out the mountains. I know this new technology is called SpeedTrees, but perhaps multiple or single rock formations can be applied with the same method to the mountains as they indeed look really empty and lifeless right now. IMO that would enhance detail greatly and make a flight through they valleys even more impressive.

Ziel und Sinn dieser Simulation ist, den Realismus in allen Bereichen und Aspekten, so gut wie möglich zu erreichen. Dazu gehören auch die kleinsten Dinge mit zu.
  21. Der HGU-55 Helm ist in vielen Modulen vertreten und besitzt seine falsche Größe schon seit einiger Zeit. Mit der Hornet wäre es die perfekte Zeit gewesen diesem ein Update zu geben. Ein korrektes und realistisches 3d model, extern und intern, ist genauso wichtig wie der Rest. Schließlich ist es das was man wirklich sieht.
  22. Yes, it's taken out of the blue. Even if development in every area is reduced by more, almost non existent, it doesn't change the fact that another FC module will come to DCS World, although it was stated clearly that there wouldn't be another one.
  23. I was not talking about new aircraft. Fact is they are developing FC level aircraft, even if they reduce development about half by copying flight model and systems to a downgraded module.
  24. FC fits in well for newcomers or easy/arcade gamemode players but IMO still not for DCS World. I remember ED stating clearly that they would never develop FC level aircraft again.
