  1. I was not talking about new aircraft. Fact is they are developing FC level aircraft, even if they reduce development about half by copying flight model and systems to a downgraded module.
  2. FC fits in well for newcomers or easy/arcade gamemode players but IMO still not for DCS World. I remember ED stating clearly that they would never develop FC level aircraft again.
  3. Nur ist das bei ED so, dass die 3d modeler nicht für die Funktion der Systeme zuständig sind.
  4. The explosion effects are still WIP and there are probably much more going to be added. The explosions need to be adjusted for every warhead type. I was asking in another thread if an aircraft filled up with a lot of fuel, would it contain a much bigger explosion once hit, or what about the static fuel tank silos? And on what other factors does the type or volume of the explosion depend on. Warhead, damaged or hit part, speed & angle of the bomb, what about cannon shells hitting certain parts on the aircraft?
  5. I've done my first flight today and immediately noticed seeing one at Khasab Airport after reading this thread.
  7. I'm not really sure about the multiplayer world but Flaming Cliffs level aircraft destroy the immersion and realism in DCS World for me. I could imagine it being worse in multiplayer. Perhaps it might be a good thing if these two gameplay levels are divided online, if FC continues to grow. Although I like the idea of FC level aircraft for new players, it leaves the main goal of DCS World back, most realistic and accurate simulations of the real aircraft.

I had requested similar a while ago. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=178796
  9. Awesome! Thanks a lot Strut.
  10. Can I have the variant with the blue nose?
  11. Have you ever heard of Belsimtek? They do much better things than mods.
  12. The dark gray parts are finished for the most part, moving on to the other two lighter grays. Colors will be adjusted later on if necessary.
  13. I believe, the raindrops will apply to all aircraft that own a certain canopy glass texture file.
  14. ED is working on a shock wave cone, at least they want to.
  15. Skate, do you know anything about this? Maybe as a feature request for the future? I would guess such little details are quite valuable for this module. https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3492776&postcount=59
  16. There are different variants of the AGM-65E. The one RAZBAM or ED will model into DCS World would be the AGM-65E2 which can rely on the the aircraft's laser.
  17. Wait for the Hornet. Maybe a few weeks more.
  18. The model on FineScale Modeler actually represents a completely different digital camo pattern than the real one. However, the paint on the other model from Rraab is pretty much on point in terms of accuracy. EDIT: This is why it is also better to have images with the real aircraft on it.
  19. I know that. Most likely, anything that you can find on Googles images is already saved here. I want images from the real bottom of the F/A-18C's wings and fuselage in good quality.
  20. I'm working on this digital livery and could need a bit more material to get it as accurate as possible, especially from below. If anyone has or can find images without the help of Googles image search function, specifically from the bottom of the fuselage and wings, at around the same resolution as this image below (1024 x 715) or more, I'd be more than grateful to have them shared here.
  21. Vielleicht hätte man das Video nicht gelistet lassen können?
  22. So the two pylons on F18C_1_DIFF will be the same for the right and left wing? It's not that big of a deal and rarely a problem but perhaps we could see all four pylons on the template in the future? Some liveries have all four pylons colored differently, same goes for fuel tanks.
  23. I'd like to know or have more information about those people behind DCS World, the people that develop/ed this simulation at Eagle Dynamics.
  24. Will it be based on the real F/A-18D or B, VFC-12 Fighting Omars version?
