  1. But the Huey is not the only one affected. All non-official liveries on the MI-8 are affected too. We can see big squares on them.

  5. I know mods like the excellent "civilian objects" or the "VPC_Airfield equipment" but for the moment, the first haven't civilian people in it and the second has just military people. If you know mods having civilian people in it,tell me where please.
  6. Sorry, I don't remember if the digital camo is an official camo. If yes, you have missing textures on it in 2.5.4 bêta.
  7. Civilian people and objects ? I think there are years that I ask that to ED ( since the release of the Huey in fact), but until today, absolutly no answer of ED about that.

  9. In exemple, in the same manner you have made plenty of parking places for liners at Dubaï Int'l, could you update LV Mc Carran to have a correct number of parking for AI heavy planes.
  10. Okay, all modules have their military use in real world ( The Christen Eagle, I'm not sure) but why should we have, in DCS, only a military context around these modules if they have the both roles ? And it's all the more true for the winching action available in a military context too.
  11. +1 to my vote too Winching is one of the main activity of helicopters in the real world and the 2 helicopters of DCS that could have civilian activities too ( MI-8 and Huey) havn't this possibility. As I've often already said, you ED people, you seem to want keeping DCS world as an only military simulator but on an other hand,you're selling modules having utility in civilian stuff in the real world ( the Christen eagle is the next) . Since years, I'm asking some civilian characters and vehicles to match with these modules and as I've already said, I'm ready to pay an asset pack with civilian people and vehicles if you make it. In exemple, since the release of the NTTR map, I asked you several times, some police vehicles to match Huey and these vehicles in some police missions in LV and since years, you have deaf ears whereas these vehicles are already existing in static in the landscape you've made in NTTR. And you can't say that it's an heavy work to animate and to integrate them in the ME because you already have the model. Now, for the police cars, it's too late because an user ( joe Rowe) have made them in the "civilian objects mod" he made. Why do we have to wait that some users have the kindness to do what you should have done ? If you want to keep DCS World as an only military simulator, stop selling modules that could be used in civilian use, or admit that DCS world is a civilian simulator too and give us the possibility to give civilian life too ( and not just military life) on the ground and civilian functions, as the winching, on these modules.
  12. By installing your mod and others with JSGME and disabling all the mods I have with JSGME just before an update, I never had this kind of issue. One will not say it enough: With JSGME disable all the mods changing files in the DCS main directory before each update and enable it after update. The mods which are in saved games\... can stay but sometimes, can cause issues after an update. It was the case this time with the MB339 and deleting it or installing the fix was enough to fix the issue and having DCS starting again. If you apply an update without uninstalling the mods included in the DCS main directory, you will have to do a repair and sometimes it's not enough, you could have to reinstall DCS entirely. This time, Roger01 and majapahit, you had just untextured trees but you could have worst like a DCS not starting at all with an update without disabling the mods before.
  13. Batumi is an airport that I use the most in DCS, that's surely why I havn't noticed before. But what about McCarran ? I must try but I'm not sure.
  14. I have noticed that on Mineraldye Voydie. Before and whatever the wind, it was only the 30 in use. Now with the wind in the other side, it's the 13. On Batumi nothing has changed but it's surely due to the geographics conditions ( mountain on one side, sea on other, it's surely must be the same in the real world, TO on 31 landing on 13).

Hi I don't know when the option has been implemented but, changing the weather in one of my mission, I've just noticed tonight that the runways in use on some airfields are depending of the direction of the wind. It's something I'd asked lot of times in the wishlist and tonight, in the release, I've just noticed it's done. Thanks ED but tell me since how many times, this option is implemented ? (I must confess that sometimes I don't read the changelogs very attentively)

  18. I was about to create a topic about that but I'm reassured, I'm not alone to having noticed that, the very intermittent shadows, specially with the new P-51 cockpit, but I see that plenty of people have noticed this issue.

  20. Hi Mustang I think there is an issue with the airbases shelters in the new beta version of DCS.Textures are missing.
  21. Hi ED Just for fun, look at your hangars on airbases in the new update beta. Do you think that all is quite normal ? Perhaps some textures are missing :music_whistling: Re-edit: Forget this post, it's an issue due to an unofficial mod !
  22. Hi There are plenty of times that I report this bug. Sometimes It's fixed and the bug returns again with the next version of DCS: The refueling in flight of SU-33 continues even after an interrupted refueling. As usual, I've decided to unplug my Su-33 from the Il-78 around 6 tonnes of fuel and returning towards the carrier, and I saw my fuel jauges increasing to 10T during the flight back to the carrier. I've even tried to dump some fuel but if I saw the fuel dumping behind the plane in the F2 view, the jauges never decreased and by luck, I've succedeed to land my plane on the Kustnetsov with 10T of fuel in the wings
  23. Hi For the first time, I've uploaded a mod I've created for the user's file section. It's a sound mod and nothing inaproppriate. Whe I've finished to post, I've seen a text saying that my mod was submitted to a moderator before being online, and it's quite normal. But today it isn't online yet. Is it normal or has my mod be refused by the moderator ? If yes, I would understand why. It's just a mod allowing to generate different sounds in DCS to give a sound ambience at a definited point. If my mod is accepted, how many times do you need to validate it ?
  24. Hi I've downloaded le 1.11 version and it crashes my DCS after some minutes. I can start, taxying and take-off but after some minutes I have a DCS crash. (I don't crash with other planes) I've tried to read the log but this isn't very explicit.
  25. Hi I've recently bought the Yak-52. To pilot, it's a real pleasure but used as AI, it's a total disaster. The Yaks AI are doing absolutly what they want but surely not what the ME wants. In exemple, I've replaced a group of 4 AI planes ( L-39) I had in a mission I'd made some times ago, by a group of 4 Yaks-52, the four pilots having excellent skills and, of course, I have adapted the speed to the Yak-52 at the different waypoints. In this mission, I wanted, after take-off from Batumi ( runway oriented to the sea) that the 4 AI airplanes fly towards the harbour of Batumi. With the L-39, no problems but with the Yak, they all turn to the left after take-off ( the harbour is located to the right) and each Yak taking fanciful altitudes (up then down and up again) and doing what he wants but absolutly not what I've programmed in the ME and they're absolutly not following the flight plan I've made in the ME. So, I think that for the flight model for the player, ED, the Yak-52 is perfect but used as a AI, you must totally change its behaviour.
