  1. Hi Aviodev! Great plane. Just noticed that to fire AIM9 or Magic I needed to move the mode selector to position NC. Confused me because this is not included in the checklist in the manual and actually the manual says that NC has no function. There may be other modes that work that I haven't tried, but I couldn't figure out any other way to get the weapons off the rails. Second thing is, the air to air missiles seem to have smaller detection cones and shorter detection ranges than when using the same weapons in the mirage or any of the US fighters for the AIM9's. Don't have anything to back this up other than my feeling after trying them a few times. Really like the plane, thanks! Rolds
  2. My knee board shortcuts appear red in adjust controls and I can't bind them to anything, prevents viewing anything other than the first kneeboard page. Open beta, played today.

I know all ships are restricted from being placed in Lake Mead, but I'd like to be able to place at least the armed speedboat or LCVP in some situations, in some cases just to create the appearance of moving civilian boats, or in other scenerios where I'd just like to have these boats. If the restriction could be removed I think that'd be great. Thanks!

  10. Night convoy mission, the Mi28N does not attack the convoy, it returned to the FARP, landed and shut down. Version 2.5.4, flown today.
  11. Not damaged, repair sequence does not start.
  12. So I was messing around with the FBW by variously turning sping mode to VRILL, FBW gain mode to the lower position, and flipping on FBW channel 5 (which I don't think does anything). I landed and then tried everything I could think of to reset the FBW system (which mostly consisted of shutting down and restarting the aircraft) but I end up with MAN, DOM, and BECS caution and warning lights. Is there any way to clear these lights and rest the aircraft for another flight?

  16. Actually, I'm brining this up again. The landing light worked at the start on a longish (maybe 3 hour) multiplayer session but at the end when a buddy and I landed it wouldn't work for either of us. I think there's a bug there but at the moment all I have to go on to reproduce is "fly for a long time" and I get that that is not helpful.

  18. Hi, ran into this one during night flying today (open beta). See screen shots, what I get is the light on the nose wheel lights up but casts no illumination. Happened after a long-ish flight and was then reproduced with a cold start. Edit - OK on hindsight it is not easy to see anything in those screenshots, but this should be a pretty easy one to check and reproduce if it is a bug.

  20. Why wait for that, just turn 'em all on and leave 'em on. People who know what they're doing will approach from the right side, and noobs wont get so frustrated wondering why an ILS doesn't seem to work.
  21. When the runway lights are on they are easily visible. The problem appears to be that (in open beta right now) whether they are on or off is tied to the mission start time. If I start at night, the lights are on, and stay on. Start in daylight and they are off, and stay off. Another example, I was just on the Burning Skies server, which starts at 10/8/1943 at 0700. The runway lights are on at Anapa, which is appropriate as it is still very dark out. At 0830 the lights are still on even though the sun is high in the sky and it is bright out. I don't think it used to work like this, I think it used to change based on time of day. What I would really like would be ability to control lights on/off based on visibility, such as fog and sand, in the ME (or automatically based on ME settings). Having the ability to ask the tower to turn them on would be great, and not unrealistic as this sometimes happens in real aviation.
  22. In fact as the mission proceeded further, the runway lights were never switched on even after it was fully dark, I thought they were at least time based? Think this is a bug, track is too big to include I'm afraid.
  23. Just had another landing, nellis at 19:00 in sim time, 1/6/2018. Very dark, almost impossible to see the runway, but the runway lights were not on. I did contact the tower on 327.00 and was cleared to land but they never turned them on. This is very irritating. A simple method to ask ATC to turn the lights on would be appreciated! That would fix another problem, where during daytime under low visibility conditions like sandstorm and fog the runway lights are not illuminated.
  24. Could the liveries be set such that YAK 52's of any nation may use any of the available liveries? Would make my life a lot easier in placing Yak's into previously prepared missions. Thanks, Rolds
  25. This is not working for me, I want a map where F10 shows map only but where I can click on airports to check frequencies and other information. The new system doesn't work for this, and it would be much better if we could either go back to the way it was before or have airport visibility be an option of the mission editor rather than being forced into this weird system.
