  1. Sorry, everything keeps showing exactly as in the image at the post #13 - both the numbers and the gray rectangles...
  2. Thank you. Although it happens in every add-on livery I have for the F-16. Here it goes one of them - the NSAWC Desert camo, image at post #13. description.lua
  3. So, can anyone who uses add-on liveries on the F-16 share some light here ?
  4. I can't quite reach what exactly isn't looking right for you. But I would suggest you try other liveries and tweak with the gamma settings for instance... so it can have some more glare ?
  5. Need your help guys. How can I remove not only the bort numbers, but more hard - the gray rectangles which keep getting there (the ones in red arrows), even after editing the .lua file... Thank you.
  6. I've seen the vídeo now. Can't tell you it isn't a bug; as I've recal something similar also happened to me. Also, you have the "IR cool" switch in the OFF position... try with it at NORMAL or OVERRIDE...
  7. Shouldn't it re-cage to boresight view pressing the " VVSLV " option, on the FLIR page at the right DDI ? Because with some of the late patches, the uncage command does other function: stow the TGP. edit (VVSLV function, is only available without waypoint designated and without target designated.)
  8. In what aircraft ? (I'm not logged in youtube so I can't access the vídeo.)
  9. That's why I was getting the feeling, that the waypoints I created at mission editor were being all messed up after a while... Thank you for the info.
  10. The best advices here !
  11. So, could anyone confirm if there is any un-designate command for the TGP or not ?
  12. Precisely the same here.
  13. Probably the same I experienced as in my post above.
  14. Yep... sometimes the waypoints seem bugged also.
  15. To the OP: fully agree. Let me guess one of them: " iF/A-18E Carrier Strike Fighter " from 1998 (by Interactive Magic)...
  16. So, is there any command to un-designate the T-pod / FLIR target ? Because without it, I can't get back to waypoint track...
  17. Absolutely. There I went with a little bit expectation, imagining if the DCS Falcon could feature the Hornet's high pitch-rate and nose pointing authority but, no... nothing whatsoever. Not only does the pitch control switch immediately jump from "override" to "manual", but also the stabilizers don't seem to deflect with more amplitude either.
  18. Tried the F-16's TGP today for the first time. (Mostly motivated by the nostalgia, of droping LGBs from 25.000 ft on North Korean vessels at another sim some 5 years ago, and also to compare the F-16's procedures against the F/A-18C.) After a while writing the 31 steps for LGBs employment at Chuck's guide into paper sheets, I decided to try, and within an hour I could consistently employ the LGBs on the given targets. Either using waypoint or boresight mode; not without some quirks though. Might be wrong, but got the following impressions: - trying to change waypoints (by the increment/decrement switch on ICP) after tweaking with TGP / FLIR page seems a bad idea... because one is 'calling' anything other than the expected waypoints from mission editor; - also, sometimes the TMS Down (re-center line of sight to boresight) didn't work, really don't know what I was doing wrong; - some other time, I believe the procedures didn't work (couldn't find the waypoint), because I didn't press the "GB10" pushbutton, although the SMS page had it visible already; But overall, I liked the current status of the TGP, it seems WIP but doesn't look that bad already. edit By the way, using the "cage / uncage" command seems to mess all up. Anyone knows which command un-designates the target / point / area ? Thank you.
  19. I've only used "manual" mode and never used CCRP, so I don't know if it could be the reason why the designator diamond doesn't appear for you. Other than that, are you pressing TDC Depress ?
  20. I suppose it's a self protection feature, as if I recall correctly I've read something similar also on other aircraft (i.e. the Su-25T).
  21. Also stumbled on it. Seems to be this, which solved it al for me: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=274082
  22. Outstanding, thank you both for your help and NineLine also. Indeed noticed the word "undesignate" a few months ago when assigning controls for the Hornet, but only did pay attention to the NWS command to taxi, etc. So, as when undesignating the VVSLV gets active again, everything in Tpod / FLIR seems to be working "fine and dandy" everything 5 stars in my view, what is the real issue now ?
  23. How can I un-designate ?
