  1. The button itself is above the throttle grip on the sidewall. You have to get your head/view lower to see it. And in the controls it's called CHAFF/FLARE Dispense Button.
  2. I thought I would explain 4 pre-programmed countermeasures programs, as I haven't found any info about it in the manual. 1st PROGRAM: Dispenses 10 flares and 10 chaffs. 10 drops, 1 chaff and 1 flare per drop. 2nd PROGRAM: Dispenses 10 flares and 10 chaffs. 10 drops, 1 chaff and 1 flare per drop. Interval between drops is shorter than in 1st PROGRAM. 3rd PROGRAM: Dispenses 10 flares and 10 chaffs. 5 drops, 2 chaffs and 2 flares per drop. 4th PROGRAM: Dispenses 20 flares and 20 chaffs. 10 drops, 2 chaffs and 2 flares per drop. Interval between drops is shorter than in 3rd PROGRAM. This program makes us run out of countermeasures pretty fast. There is also a CHAFF/FLARE Dispense Button (called like that in the controls as well). It drops 2 flares and 2 chaffs. 2 drops, 1 flare and 1 chaff per drop. Personally, I find it kinda useless as it doesn't allow to drop flares really fast like "BYPASS" setting in the Hornet. I hope it helps!
  3. Yes it does. Arm the laser, TGP to SOI, then try to fire it. The "L" on the TGP screen should be flashing when firing. Btw, why didn't you ask on "our" forum, if you know what I mean. I believe you are registered there. P.S. Don't forget the TGP has to be in AREA/POINT TRACK.
  4. Jesus, it's not even implemented yet… Have you even tried to search any info about IFF, or went straight up here to post that it's not working?
  5. Nope, it doesn't. It only brings up gun sight symbology and missiles symbology.
  6. I've added the AIM-9X for the Eagle, so now you can load it up on stations 1-3 and 9-11. Drop the file into X:\DCS World OpenBeta\Scripts\Database\planes and replace the file when asked. Keep in mind that it brakes the Integrity Check (IC) so you won't be able to join servers with IC on. You will have to either, remove the file for the time playing on a secured server, or play on servers without IC. F-15C.lua
  7. I didn't say it's impossible, but kinda useless when you still need to point your nose at enemy plane to fire off a missile. Nonetheless I can do it later, unless someone else makes the mod faster.
  8. It's easy to add the 9X for the F-15, but it still would be kinda useless without the JHMCS, or any other helmet mounted cueing system. I think the only option is to try to add the helmet sight from the Su-27, but it's also not that easy, as the Flanker pilots use helmet to aim with the EOS and not the seeker of the Archer (R-73) itself.
  9. ED accepts only high detail models so I think it's really good that you keep attention to every detail. I gotta say, it looks nice, and you learn really damn fast.
  10. That is EXACTLY what we have experienced. We also use F10 spawn menu, and we don't use ANY mods either. Well, good to know that we are not the only ones… @75th-VFS-Striker, That's a very nice find by you guys, about that late activation. Great job!
  11. Encountered the same problem today (14.09.2019). Grisha is visible from the distance, but once we get closer, it disappears. We've got points system in our mission. For specific actions both teams earn points. Once one of the teams has enough points, they can choose to spawn the frigate, and then the problem occurs. The mission is not really heavy, but has some triggers in order to be able to use the scoring system. Later I'll try to provide a track to show the problem. We don't use any mods.
  12. Well, looks promising like every other project I've seen. Not many of them managed to see the daylight. Anyways, good luck with it!
  13. It's absolutely fine, we all make mistakes. Only wanted to point that out :).
  14. Straight from DCS BIOS website: "DCS-BIOS is a community-maintained Export.lua file for use with DCS: World. It provides a stable, documented interface for external hardware and software to interact with the clickable cockpit of a DCS: World aircraft." So basically, if you don't have any custom made panels, don't worry about it. It does not help DCS in terms of performance, more like functionality. P.S. Source: http://dcs-bios.a10c.de/
  15. If you don't have the Mods folder in your Saved Games directory, you need to make one. For me the path looks like this: "C:\Users\Slider\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Mods\aircraft" and in the "aircraft" folder you have to put the A-4E.
  16. Yeah, I was following this thread since it was posted, and I was like "yeee, but It can be a bit better", and now, here it is, the SOUND of perfection. This is the 1st sound mod that I'll be using. Great job mate! Keep it up!
  17. VR blurriness is a hardware issue, but physically, it displays a lot of objects, take it as a side note. And the Hornet is the worst example you could have choose because it's LOD is still pretty much WIP from what I know (not optimized yet), that's why it tanks FPS really hard. We can't do anything with LODs, as it would have to be done with original 3d models in 3ds max (or any other 3d modeling program that supports .edm plugin). I agree with pretty much everything that OP said, we need better LODs.
  18. Obviously you had to assume that I'm stupid, retarded and blind, and didn't think that I could've missed the word...
  19. 1st of all, Su-25(T) doesn't have afterburner, so it eliminates itself before it even has a chance to be used. So far it (the mod) has it's own, custom SFM.
  20. I got absolutely wrecked by hassey. Everything went totally wrong, starting with someone disturbing me, finishing on bad plane managment. Next time I'm gonna lock myself in my room, and tell everyone to not disturb. Anyways, hassey won, congrats to him :). I'm looking forward to, hopefully, next tournament.
  21. Instead of "nil" after "support cockpit," add this without quotes "{'E-2D', nil, old=4}". Let me know if that did the trick. If not, you can also send me your mod and I'll try to figure it out. No promises.
  22. Well, the AI is indeed cheating due to it's FM, we cannot overcome that. But cheating online is not that easy to be honest, mainly because of the Integrity Check, which if it's ON, there is NO way to get through with some cheats. Surprisingly, DCS and flight sims community is a niche, but it has one of the most, if not the most effective anti cheat systems I've ever seen, and I wish other games had it too. One more thing about AI. Personally, I don't think it's good idea to learn against them, for obvious reasons and I advise to learn against real players, who are BETTER than you, because that forces you to learn and develop new tactics. P.S. There's a Hornet guns only tournament that will take place on 29th-30th. Maybe someone can learn something from there, and participate to have some fun.
