Thank you someone else getting lag spikes due to voice on server. I mentioned this few weeks back . Also Sunday night busy night for WWII server normally 50 + players , crashed twice hitting 40 player mark. Something not right with 2.9 .

Yes my VR fps have dropped to 23fps were before I had solid 36fps stable and smooth no motion sickness. Now motion sickness it back. Lol have you ever had a flash bag go off in front of you .

DCS is in a bit of a pickle then . It's a shame that ED have not kept up with the change in hardware and the new technology that has been thrown into PC gaming. The spotting debate has gone on for years in DCS . And I mean years .

Did you check your VRAM while running these settings. Running low textures and shadows will free up vram. Are you running MT.

What graphic card are you using. Are you in MT.

Yes just use exe drag shortcut too desktop. Forget MT . It's bugged . Something not right with loading objects taking up lots of memory. Multiplayer servers are crashing and stuttering if load too much . Few months back a 100 players on one server now crash at 40 players.

Is there not a option for server hosts to turn new spotting off . Before hosting so that every one is on same song sheet .

Try using single core exe . Seems to be better than MT . Jabbers did a good video on single core and mt .

When is the next patch coming for the F14 . Seems they are some bugs still . I've been fly this for nearly a week now . And definitely got bugs .

Is the gun sight lined up in the hud while in VR . Is it centered correctly. Mine seems off to the right even if I center headset . Still testing

Still bugged pilot body is in seat even though unchecked in options. I'm in VR in dcs and I have find the keyboard key to remove.

This still not fixed tested today .

No I think the new 2.9 is nerfed. All my memory is maxed out on multiplayer. Something not right.

I would like to see new maps for Normandy. If possible.

Running out of vram . The 3070 is a good card but only 8GB of vram . 2.9 has memory issues. I have 32GB of ram and 16GB of vram all maxed out on multiplayer Syria map . Nuts . So don't get too worried it's beta and 2.9 is new I'm sure ED will fix .

In single player or multiplayer.

2.9 has brought some multiplayer problems. I fly online 80% of my time in DCS . And lately it's been frustrating. With Server crashes and the lag and stuttering that is constant in multiplayer. 2.9 . I'm sure things will start to work for Christmas. Lol

So I can't jump back into front seat from Rio seat . ??? Even though I can jump into rio seat from pilot seat . But can't jump back into pilot seat . Using HOTAS key bind . ??? I'll have to test in single player .

Best look at YouTube there are lots of videos on there . Maybe your find what you look for.

Been flying this bird cat , this week, few things I've noticed Auto pilot seems touch and go . Alt hold and course hold . Sometimes it works some times not . Seems mushy . I don't remember it being like this . I used to be able to dogfight quite well but seems off . Can't put my finger on it . It's like the airframe isn't reacting to my inputs . But I do have a new joystick and 2.9 is buggy . ??? Big fps drop when switching on lantern. This is in VR . ??? Switching pilot seats from front to rio you can't get back into pilot seat using hotas button I have to use keyboard. ???

I'm looking forward to the fixes especially in multiplayer. It's been a frustrating week. I hope things calms down for Christmas holiday.

I think 2.9 has brought stuttering and lag spikes . Even more so for VR . I've noticed fps drop and multiplayer lag .

Yes always in VR . Spotting also depends on the weather and lightning. And no it's not easy to spot in VR . Yes I see big dots in the air and some times on the ground, but when i close the gap they disappear. It's not consistent , but we all know that . Besides I've turned off the new spotting feature but I still see black blobs .

I have a different thing I find seeing ground targets very hard . flying circles around the target area like a lame duck . lol .
