Flying in VR and spotting ground units is very difficult because of the poor rendering in DCS . By the time I've lined up they have already hit me on my roll in . VR only . And too drop any ordnance you have too Spot , line up, Roll in, and Drop and Pull up , AAA hits even before a line up Every time .

Well What can i say , low level Tree top Hight in WWII airframes and Server with WWII AAA and this thing can track your every move with a Sniper shot . They fire through tree lines arc over the tree tops and hit your cockpit and with dead eye Tarkov hits . Please fix this Its not realistic . Finding targets in VR is very very difficult . Yet DCS AAA can track you at 500kmh at tree top level and fire well Aim-bot AAA right into the cockpit . its just crazy .

Flying WWII warbirds in VR is a great experience in DCS . But is very clear its not meant to be . I Can not believe that air targets are just great big black dots that can be seen at a good distance but as you get closer they just disappear into thin air . The amount of times I've lost visual in VR is totally a frustrating experience . What is going on here . ?? VR in cockpit is clear as day and looks amazing but the out side world is a blurry mess with black dots all over the front lines WWII servers , DCS games fault not servers admins . DCS is charging $60 for a model yet the DCS game engine is an old , old patched up on going and never stops AI and flight modeling mess . When is ED going to stop with content and actually FIX the Dam game mechanics . I took another flight sim up in VR and its breath taking . VR is the future .

Time for DCS to start fixing things . Lots of expensive content but same old bugs and Ai behavior.

I agree with OP this thing can not turn can't even spit-s . Considering this was one of the best fighters . Fly this then go fly 109 you can perform any task . D9 is awful something very off with this 2022 model maybe a patch has broke this . Spitfire dances all over the sky's . P51 stable in every task 109 nice to fly . D9 falls out of sky at 400kmh in a turn . LoL 190 A8 too slow .

Try spyglass zoom in headtracker options

i close all windows down in VR accept the game window . And this is at full screen but use VR resolution in VR tab .

Has anyone tried with other Sims . ?

So i downloaded this mod and put it into my main Bin folder . its fully working with DCS-openbeta . Smooth game play OTT at PD 1.3 and quest2 at 1.2 . Nice graphics now still testing . https://github.com/fholger/vrperfkit download latest version to the right . v0.3

Turn off SSAA go MSAA x 2 and AA x 16 . This will help with spotting also download Reshade . And use it Google the profiles .

Now that isn't good either . This needs a change .

DCS has big issues with spotting. It's the render as they get close they disappear. It's been like this for years . What your res.

It's the quest2 headset . Go into the app and set to ,72hz move slider recommend. Start DCS . See if glitch has gone . Move slider up to 1.2 . Test .

Every AAA is dead accurate and its getting quite silly in WWII . Diving down at 700kmh and AAA is getting dead on hits . Come on this is a joke now . !!! Can server turn down the Aim-Bot . Before you can even spot the ground forces they are dead on your cockpit .

I think DCS VR has gone backwards . Especial in WWII cant even tell what's ahead of me . Awful

Any links to get this too work as my outside view is a blurry mess . I fly another sim and VR is amazing . !! Clear and smooth game play and i can actually see targets .
