Same for me this is a Bug pilots head violent shakes unable to close the engines down also even using Auto close down take for ever .

Long wait time . Auto starts . Some times ive sat for 10 minutes plus .

Systems always fail i find . Sight system and a like . Too Vulnerable . The Huey Is tougher . Two AT-6 into that thing and still flys .

Well with in distance this is not the issue its the sight system and Petro . A10s right in front of me . And i cant lock it . Also how do i stop the annoying death tone in my headphones when Ive disengaged a target . ?

Its Good Aim-Bot . Needs addressing .

Online play . Like title says petro is bouncing all around air targets A10s and the Gazell . The Sight moves but does not lock and it bounces all over trying to lock onto the Air targets . Head-on and rear aspect of the target .

TRy Engima Cold-war server thats running quite well 80% of the time . 50+ players . Still not there at 100 players yet but with the new game engine Vulkan i hope things change . META is inbound .

Two AT missles to bring down a Huey and the Gazell well thats just a weired DM there . Small Arms is bring down the Hind very easy . However this is due to Sniper Aim-bot ground targets . Can this be adjusted on server side . ?

ok seen some strange things on multiplayer . Loop the loops , Server Lagg ever time I'm near a gazelle , FPS drop ect . The Damage modelling is strange just a puff of smoke and nothing , No kill score either . This is only happening With the Gazelle . When is this bird getting a FIX .

Storm of War server closed . Is that due to the poor spotting that the server was empty or ??? The times i joined the server was full but you can hear the frustration of people not being able too see the targets . !!!!

sorted I had an update waiting to be downloaded , once that was complete I could use VR .

Quick question for Quest2 user , How are you starting DCS with Quest2 . I get an Error . Win11. Pro.

Clean install for me . Runs very well , Not yet setup VR Quest2 .

Just a question really whom is running win11 can you see any improvement's over win10 .

Even ground targets are just black dots . Until you are right on top of them using mark one eye ball . DCS has never addressed this issue and when they have its a quick fix . We know its a jet sim . Radar lock and fire at 10Km . But we have WWII and now the ever increase in Combat Heli . This needs to be addressed I want to know if Vulkan will change this . Has DCS sat down and looked into the POOR spotting issues .

Tracks are broken in DCS period . Been like this for long time . If he is starting from training missions are they not broken too , Red light always comes on system fail in engine . Best thing to do is make own mission start auto start and take off . Trim and Slowly rise the airframe up . Not fast . !!!!!!! You will get engines broken . trim and rise Slow . No need to touch the two throttles leave in middle . Auto .

So too lock a target its short UP . ? Too unlock its short Down . and we need this to continue flying . ? Too lock target from list short Right . ? So what does designate target do , in pilot menu . Same as lock target short UP . ? Petro wont scan Now when i do short UP . What am i doing wrong here . Weapons on and light show on . !

Jeee - Really do you think that . I fly real airframes As hobby . I've also been around combat aircraft most of my life . This is a computer simulation on 2d screens of all makes and sizes . Then we have VR 3d screens , that cost hell of lot of money . All makes and sizes . I know for a fact the spotting has been a thorn in DCS side since 2016 . its NOW 2022 . We all want (as close as it gets )but there are other sims out there Doing a better job . And There is more too come . New kid on the block . ! Now don't come here and say go play them games then ect , because that's a cheap way out of admitting there are faults here . Sorry for the rant .

That's correct , if I See a nice black dot and I zoom in to get an idea what it is that black Dot will disappear then I've got to zoom back out to get that black dot again . When in close the Whole black dot will blend into the back ground , Which is full of black dark shading . The only time I can see and get what's going on is if black Dot is against clouds or a light back ground . I've now started to wear glasses while playing DCS and other flight sims . But DCS has big issue with WWII .

Hi nine line I've been too Duxford on many occasions and even shared the Tent with Flying Legends and WWII vets from Britain and Germany . Spoke to a few Pilots and they were very keen on the DCS flight models . This Really need addressing its very very Bad . With Vulkan coming i hope this will be Addressed . AS the WWII airframes have some much too offer now . With Great damage modelling and Gun splash marks ect .

I think ill give the WWII stuff a miss . Been on SOW and WWII servers . The spotting is just Awful . Just black Dots that melt into the background . .!! This is no good in 2022 - DCS seems to avoid any complaint's over this . The amount of eye strain is crazy . Cant even tell which direction things are happening . What and Who is Who . NUTS . !!! Also DCS is supported by WWII Flying Legends , Do we want to push people away from fly these great WWII airframes .

Yes I'm looking forward to Vulkan . I hope it really improves things . By then i hope the Graphics cards will of come down in price .
