Memory leaks or what ever is causing this . Exit DCS take ages for my computer to get back to normal . 32GB ram . Same for 16Gb ram . Black screen and lock ups . Poor performance in multiplayer . Very poor .

I Fired total of eight - 54s onto TWS targets with count downs and there were no hits . In Two missions . Also STT locked up to 13 seconds and still a miss .

I agree . But ED don't seem to listen to online community . when i heard you need 32GB of ram for online play I thought it was a joke . But it wasn't . The net code needs updating .

DCS strong point years back was the online experience . I was part of a large squad . 2.5 came along and it went down hill after that . I would not take any online Tournament's serious today . I would only see them as fun . ED really need to address this , it has been going on for quite some time . When was 2.5 released . ?

Since update has anyone tested online . ?? Seem to miss all air targets even if tracked up to 16 seconds . Which means I'm really close to their envelope of AA. Any ideas has anyone had good Kill ratio with 2.7 online . With The Phoenix has any notices drop in Kill .

Most of you have better systems than me , I have good results . Stable 30fps . quest2 software @ 72hz @ 1.5 all the way to the right . In OTT AWS is off .And link 2912 and 350 bit rate . DCS VR - PD 1.0 . Try it . You don't need 90hz in DCS as your never reach 90fps . Experiment with Quest2 software first then adjust in DCS . IF you go Quest2 @ 90hz your see the slider go higher to PD 1.7 .

So what was the fix .

You have 6gb vram this will be all used up need at least 8gb . Are you playing single missions only or in multiplayer . I agree about DCS and its poor use of memory . To play online you need 32gb to get a stutter feel experience and that's only with 32 players . Crazy really . Multiplayer needs a complete overhaul or this simulation will turn into single player only .

This used to happen on the A10 mfds, when first came onto the scene . Also fps drops when using clusters . And that was years ago . But now its kind of fixed . it just needs tweaking by Devs . 2.7 has had a big update . New lighting , new textures ,new clouds ect . I too frustrated at first but now I've calmed down . I've enjoyed single player instead . lol

Very true . Single player is smooth for me now . VR and multiplayer is very different for me . but I'm working on it . 2.7 looks amazing .

From what I'm seeing You need at least 16GB too run in single player and 32GB for multiplayer . I rolled back drivers too 446.14 . I can play good in single player now but my 16GB isn't enough for Hoggit online . VR is still low @ 20fps . still testing and need to drop settings in DCS to hit my 30fps @ 30Hz OTT. "2.7 looks amazing and I'm sure fixes will come . I am now on the hunt for more memory .

Do not give them your data . I own Quest2 , write a ticket too their support . Tell them your do no such thing and want a refund or to unlock your account . Go buy G2 . Its 2.7 not your machine . Go into stable with same setting and your fly no problem 2.7 has come with bugs . Multiplayer is a mess I tested all day yesterday server crashes and I need over 16GB or i get stutters and dysic . MY VR is down too 6fps Even people with 3080s are getting bad fps in 2.7 . But I'm sure fixes will come , we had this with 2.5 on first release .

Thank you , i think i found the cause , its Multiplayer . If i load into hoggit takes a while and when i finish DCS is still running in Task manager for quite some time . I think it has to do with memory leaks or 2.7 when using multiplayer . If i go single player 2.7 or stable all opens and close as should .

Control panel Uninstall programs Top left uninstall windows updates Choose the update .

There are long wait times getting in and closing down DCS .

lol @ your set up . RX - 3080 top of the range card . DCS needs to think of the middle man we all cant afford a 3080 at them prices .

I have MSAA x2 and x4 turned off and I've just left Hoggit as its totally unplayable . Stuttering , Dysic and impossible to dogfight . Spawned and Die on carrier deck . This is an endless complaint from people that have DCS . It Seems it never gets fixed , posts like this go back years . Why have other combat sims that host 80+ players yet DCS cant master 34 players . I just don't get it . The most stable i think was 2.2 in multiplayer . What is the plan for multiplayer . ??

Rubber banding and slow loading times coupled with big frame drops looking around in cockpits . Dogfights are stuttering and rubber banding . All Ram is used whether 16gb or 24gb . Vram is all used up if you go above 2K resolution . Multiplayer needs a overhaul . 2.5 and now 2.7 and we are still no closer too 100 players .

Will do . I was getting very poor performance in VR with 2.7 . So went to latest drivers . In stable I had no issues fps were at 30fps as its locked with OTT 30Hz .

2.7 isn't good for me either I tried Hoggit last night and was a nightmare with awful stutters and was unplayable . Not sure if this is DCS multiplayer being bugged with 2.7 . Someone noted to roll back to older drivers around the 44. area Nvidia . Going to test today .
