Seems like this bug has returned . night flying is also killing my fps .

photos i think mine is too low , i move my trackir so its centered , but when restart goes back to being low

The best landings I've found is to land like a slow moving bird . line up on runway and glide down slow , but don't go into a hover . This works for me , I've seen many pilots trying to hover into a land and just flop out of the sky into the deck crash and burn .

Will petrovich lock up on open spaces if ordered . Maybe try as a test . Had similar problems on multiplayer . Where petrovich would find target but the crosshairs would not lock onto that target .

What was your out come .

What's going on with the Syria map . All my ram is being used and its causing bad game play online at times 30Gb is being used . Even loading in map in single player with nothing happening 22-24GB is used right off the bat . There is no head room to play . Are there fixes coming . ?

I will definitely invest into a 6800xt as DCS is going Vulcan .

Yes Your right its using at least 24GB of ram . Which is crazy . All my ram was used last night on Hoggit server which ended with unplayable Stuttering . Its a lovely map . But why such a performance hit .

Syria map will use all your memory its using 32Gb of ram at the moment on Hoggit server . when you exit I think memory is not being cleared quick enough , Does your DCS close down with speed or is it slow closing down . Check Task manager see what memory is being used .

I would say its the net coding in DCS . Its not been right since 2.5 .

Copy and paste don't move until tested . Do repair after copy . I moved over to a SSD .

I would not upgrade now . Prices are why too high if you can hold off for a year or even 6months you would save some money . But if you have money then no problem . Even second hand GPUs are through the roof . . I would Go Ryzen CPU . Most game today run fine on Quad Core . GPU . well YouTube has plenty of info but getting your hands on a RX3070 or a RX6800 will be expensive . Definitely need 32GB ram 3200mhz at least . 2 x 16GB . 1TB . SSD drive . M2 just for DCS . 1TB hardrive . Motherboard well again YouTube . I like ASrock . . again do your research . But Syria runs bad on most systems . When I load Syria I'm using nearly 32GB of ram straight away . And VR well if your new to this i would get the Quest2 . But you need to be on Facebook to activate it . I hate Facebook but There are settings now that gives you more privacy .

Attacking ground targets on the coast online Hoggit server . Set up Petrovych weapons on ready to fire ect . Seen targets on the coast line . Moved pilot cross over targets Petrovych sees targets gives me list . AAA . Truck . SAM . short down too choose SAM . short Right to fire . But Petrovych crosshair is pointing into the sea . ??? Four attempts . All miss Crosshair wont lock onto seen targets even if in list . Not like Youtube vide were Petrovych has crosshair on target . Love it though . Forgive me if I'm doing it wrong but copied many video .

This had this few times also , this is online play . System will go off line until more throttle is applied . Then sights come back on and regain control . Not sure if it mean we are pushing the Hind too hard.

Clear your RAM cache in windows . Drop some settings down in options .

This might be AMD drivers . Another sim had same issues black dots and corrupt textures . Try another driver also set every thing to default in drivers software and DCS . See if it fixes things . From Amd players . SSAO = On: black flickering spots along the bridge SSAO = Off: no black flickering spots along the bridge (and also nowhere else)
