1.Its been confirmed by another dev "Red wing simulations" that some one is working on the tiger. 2. Pollychop stated they are working with Airbus for a new chopper. 3. Pollychop stated that stuff being classified does not mean that best estimations can not be made. 4. A quick google search showed tons of tiger cockpits and videos. 5. Plenty of parts of the A10c for example are classified, does not mean best estimations are not used. So the hints are there, but no grantee for sure as of yet. DCS will always be at best a desk top simulator, its a Huge step behind the real classified sim stuff that you get on Level D Full flight simulators which you need actual OEM software and Even with that you get 95% accuracy.

My hope is for a decent red aircraft. Mig23MLD will be great, Mig31/BM or MIG25PD will be amazing.

How so? The only thing i got from that was a website that ED put up, and they said they where working on the F-18c, F16c and AH64. the website was promptly taken down after it was posted on Reddit. the Website was for a Military training sales of some sort. So who knows.

So i found some sources stating that the 342M can carry 6 hot missiles in triple racks, but cant seem to find any pictures of it. was Hoping Belsimtek would make the AH-1W or the AH-1Z, they didnt talk much about it and threw it on the back burner. I do Hope Poly takes over the AH-1W/Z project or Give us an AH64A/D. you guys are masters in this. Great round as always and shame about the numbers. In essence I think that numbers issue are a scale of 3 critical things, 2 of which Buddy spike can maybe change: 1. To get it Out of the way, Simply no interesting "Red" aircraft has been added to the game in ages, And not even in the development pipe, you think its bad now but wait for the Huge amount of Blue DCS platforms coming soon and it will be hard to keep interest in RED. Its our duty as the Blue flag community To put pressure on the Devs and how Our interest in New Red aircraft that can be added to the game to keep the interest in Both sides Of the game. They do not need to all be DCS quality, But something between DCS and FC3 will enable the devs to make stuff faster and not the 3-4 years insanity we have right now. "This is not saying that DCS quality should be stopped, But supplemented. The scope of new Aircraft should always be late 3rd and early mid 4th gen. Blue flags is the main reason i bought all the helos Mi-8, Huey and Gazelle, This game mod is a Seller, ED needs to Pay attention to it. 2. Pretty much, yes we would ALL love more DCS quality aircraft, But between cost and time needed along with "classified" stuff and not using "best estimations" it will take decades to have a good scenario. I would love for something between DCS and FC3 for some platforms, more so the ones that are Very hard to get or even single role aircraft "F-117 for example". And if they are done right then they can be turned into DCS quality at some point Via DLC, Multyplayer it hurting right now, and stopping it simply due taking 6 months to make a 100% hydraulic system, Or 5 months to do an in flight or ground flight test system is simply insane and even Bad for business and the sake of game play. Good radar system, even at 70% fidelity + A good weapon system "which at the moment DCS it self covers nearly all 80% of weapon systems" a Nice flight model and damage model and we are good to go. weapon systems and sensors are the majority of the work. and sure by no means stop the work on DCS only aircraft, those will be premium or DLCS or whatever.

The whining wont be an issue if the current FC3 aircraft get upgraded. There will be some but not much, the best way to do it is side grade the "Red aircraft" Lets try a thought experiment what would you say to this price list Vs product. Su27 can be turned into Su-27SM or Su-27P with limited modeling just give it the air to ground armament and R77, modeling will only be some pit systems nothing too major or not done by the S25T. 15USD DLC upgrade FC3 owners, 30 USD for stand alone "you get the Su33+27+SM or P" Exact same thing for the Mig29 which can be turned into the Mig-29SM, which makes it able to use TV and laser guided armament. 15$ USD DLC 30$ for stand alone. If they want to push it further, lets call FC3++, add semi clickable cockpit "main weapon systems clickable" and go for hornet equivalence you will get the Mig-29SMT give it a ground radar, 30 for DLC and 50 standalone Mig29 package. Those are "quick wins" depending on the contract they already have the licence, most of the information on weapon systems and performance is already in game. and adds some content to the FC3 family, with PFM and the new 3d models and pits it works reaaaly well imo. and helps add some red aircraft quickly "1 year~6months" instead of the 4~3 year on full DCS models which are built ground up.

I do hope its possible to get more red aircraft, the true gap now IS: -Mig-23ML/Mig-25PD, Those are old aircraft, will fit nicely with nearly every thing coming from blue aside from the High end spectrum. -Any fast attacker is also welcome Su17M3, Su24M, simply one of those even if at the quality of the su25T, will add "strategic" equivalency to blue F-18c. And omni Aircraft like Su27SM, SM2 or Even SU27P, even if its at S25T quality or between DCS and FC3. will be a great tool for Red over the long streatch of none blue aircraft. My wish is for a Mig31BM as a red aircraft but i know thats hard to obtain. And working with actual aircraft OEM in RL, I am quite sure with the right sales pitch you can get a lot of information and licences. people forget that are are commercial companies and need sales and making a sim model is always cheaper than 20 hours total of flight demos. Its much easier to get general or "good enough" information than people think. Last thing its about interest in red aircraft, not just balance. adding some new items "or at least planing for it" is a good thing. there is also a larger and larger Russian player base thats entering the "more expensive side of simming" thanks to casual games like Warthunder, there will be a new generation of pilots who simply want more fidelity.

@Wags. as a mostly blue player, I do hope we get some Red aircraft or at least some red aircraft weapon and system upgrades soon even if its FC3 standard. And with all the great toys coming for blue, i fear the Red spectrum is getting a bit light. Anything like an upgrade for the Su-27 to SM standard, or even SM2, An Su27P "Flanker-B" with air to ground capability upgrade to the FC3-Su27 is quite reasonable and borrows quite a lot of the 25T, some ASM for the Su33 will basically set a good standard for Red aircraft for years to come and help Mplay balance Vs all the new Blue aircraft.

IMO i think talking about the ground radar is not such a bad thing as it ties with lots of possible 3rd party devs projects. I mean Wags amd ED is free to talk about what they want, and as a fan hoping for more info is never a bad thing about a product. its quite a good thing, and hows interest. Also AIm9x plzkthanksbye

Starting to love this thing more and more "thanks to blue flags mission forcing my hand to buy this" when i never wanted to buy a helo. 2 quick questions, Is there a way to bind the flare drop some how? And is there a way to reduce the cockpit shake? Its a bit excessive and makes my eyes hurt when trying to track something. Thank you
