  1. oh, thanks, I missed that post. bye!
  2. Just noticed during a ramp hot startup, that the angle of attack sensors in the radome of the plane are animated!, thats really nice :) ...however, I also noticed that they are moving when the plane is stopped and in a very odd way, like full up/full down inmediately. That also makes the horizontal stabs to move consequently, which is also very nice because demonstrates that they are connected as they should, in fact was the movement of the control surfaces with the plane fully stopped what made me realize that the sensors were moving. I dont thing is due to the ambient wind so...any explanation for this or maybe is just a little bug?...as soon as you start getting some speed it goes away but not sure why they are moving and causing the FBW to react. couple of images showing the 2 states of both things: (in the second one the horizontal stab has moved even though is not very noticeable in hte screen) bye!!
  3. I just realized that landing gear struts don't seem to compress enough in both empty and heavily loaded aircraft states (especially the main gear), at least according to many pictures of the real plane, it looks like the suspension reamains always in the position it would be when in the air, free of weight. It is also noticeable because the center line external fuel tank doesn't seem to be as close to the ground as it looks in real life pics, which is surprisingly low, almost touching the deck. The nose wheel hinge also shows a very relaxed state instead of a more flexed one. A few examples: Although I can see a really really small compression when adding weight, it is barely noticeable and at the same time, the suspension looks surprisingly the same as real life pics without any weight on wheels so I think it could be a bug or maybe just a work in progress: On the ground: In the air: it looks pretty much the same, which match almost perfectly the how the gear looks in real life without weight: Hope it helps in case it is not a WiP thing.
  4. Aircrafts models graphic glitches/corruptions At certain angles and espacially at noon, there are some severe graphical issues with most (if not all) aircrafts models in the game...as an example here is what can be seen:
  5. Yes, I have just tested with the Hornet and same thing happened, as strongly as with the thunder or even more...so ED bug I guess.
  6. Well it has been the case other times so I though it was also this time. Hope to get these jf-17 updates as soon as possible. thanks!
  7. +1000000000000000 I wanted the jf-17 updates...:glare: Having to wait for a plane to get updates due to another being postponed shouldn't be an option.
  8. thanks buddy!! great to know, congrats for the great work guys! Btw, I submitted the mod yesterday, it is not active yet for some reason so as it is not very heavy I will put it here too. For install use JSGME. Cheers! JF-17 Lights Mod.rar
  9. +1, only with an axis (warthog nipple)
  10. I think Deka made an incredible work with the visuals of the jf-17, just a little thing I don't like is how big the light beams look (is very common in DCS to be honest), I wonder if this could be officially improved...in case you guys are too busy at the moment, I decided to make a little mod for me and those of you who think the same and at the same time make a nice strobe "flash" effect that I think looks cool and very realistic (especially in action). Hope you like it, it will be available very soon in the user files section: link: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3307277/ bye!!
  11. I also though it was a bit too smokey, but recently I watches this video: at the end of the video, look how smokey it is...maybe it depends on the block/version of the plane?
  12. good to know, thanks! I remember watching this on the hornet some time ago, but it was way less pronunciated and haven't seen it in a while...howver in the jf-17 it is quite extreme and noticeable. Hope Deka or ED take this into account and solve this issue asap because as seen in the screens it is really visible.
  13. I would also like to mention Deka made the best to date vapour effects for a DCS module hands down!! (together with the M2000), the LEX vapour is amazing, I wish the ones in the Hornet would be that good, they are very dynamic and has a incredible wide gamut of shapes and states...AMAZING!! I would love to see even more improvements in over wing vapours but they are also better than most modules. Just wanted to point this out too.
  14. Graphic glitches in 3d model? At certain angles and time of the day (it happens much more the higher the sun in the sky and much less at dawn/dusk, although it still happening), the surface of the plane seems to have some big graphic glitches/corruptions. I have only tested in PG map, will confirm later other maps...here are some examples: Also, from the cockpit, I see an odd line over the LEX that changesas I move the camera or the plane, guess is the same issue just not as severe at that time of day: Is someone else experiencing this with the jf-17?...Im not sure if I should consider it a bug before confirming this. To see the issue, just set time at 11:00 and in the f2 view move the camera and the plane from different angles. thanks!
  15. It depends...if they are guided rockets they should hit exactly in the designated point no problem...the "issue" is when I want to use guided rockets WITHOUT athe targeting pod...then you can use the hud to point a mark (CCRP), but there is no hud piper for them like when using non-guided ones...that was my question, is there any way to use guided ones w/o targeting pod in CCIP (and thus with CCIP piper)...I guess is not hte case but not sure.
  16. When in F3 view, at certain distance (far), there is some issue with the lights, the ones over the air intake, as they appear at wrong position and through the fuselage...it is not possible to realize about this issue when in pause or in F2 view, even decreasing simulation speed will prevent this issue to happen which is very weird but at 1x and f3 view at certain distance, as I said, this is what happens...look attached image. thanks!!
  17. thanks buddy, works great!!
  18. Saving a custom snap view doesn't work for me for some reason...it only saves position but not zoom.
  19. +1! Having a blast with it, just amazing to fly and really love the FM and the great state it has come for ea, thats how all ea shold be at least!congrats!
  20. Great! I will try what you told me guys, thanks!
  21. Pretty much that, is there any way to designate using the hud for instance to mark a target designation for CCRP (auto) bombing/rockets?...I choose the hud as SOI but I cant manage to do it. thanks!
  22. is this the "Corrected ground effect" entry in the new change log?, because I have also noticed this...at certain ¿altitude?, the plane seems to not have any kind of drag so it can accelerate at extreme high g's, like it has a super rocket engine. However, if you pull to the absolute max stick deflection it seems to start loosing energy but this looks like an incorrect behaviour. thanks!
  23. I just have a couple questions about them: 1- Is there any indication about how many are available/remaining? I can't find any for either BRM-1 nor mk5 2- You can fire the BRM-1 rockets without any targeting pod as normal rockets (CCIP), but as soon as I mount the WMD7 I can only shot them in guided mode as the mode option is locked in "DIR"...why can't I chose between DIR and CCIP? is that normal behaviour? thanks!!
