  1. A-10 cockpit is insane!, best looking cockpit ever made for DCS (together with F-14). It is absolutely amazing, G.I. doesn't seem to work fine thought but the 3d model mesh is so smooth and texture work is incredible.
  2. Throttle stop to idle and idle to stop needs to be a 2 way switch, otherwise, it is not possible to be used with throttles like the warthog. It should be something like: throttle stop/else idle. Hope you can add this asap. Thanks!
  3. No worries! I'm using latest nvidia drivers (441.66) but it has been happening for a long time now. About the reshade...negative!, I completely removed it so I don't think thats the culprit...also, as soon as I disable MSAA or enable just MSAAx2 the problem is solved so it is MSAAx4 what causes this. Yep, MSAAx4 to be more exact.
  4. Thanks for the reply! I already refresh these folders every time a new patch is installed but I did it again just in case...the problem persist, but I think I have found the culprit, it is MSAAx4 only. As soon as it is activated this happens so please activate it. The problem is with MSAAx2 the game looks really bad and I can't afford a 1,5 SSAA so... I have attached a track file showing very clearly the issue (at least in my case)...it tends to happen at 11:00h and you need to move a bit the plane and change a bit the camera around to make it happen...just let the track play and you should see it. Btw, here are my settings: thanks! graphic glitches 2.trk
  5. Agree. Faked reflections are really bad. I will be doing a mod removing all pre-baked stuff and adding some canopy effect asap (if deka is not going to improve this).
  6. any news on this? thanks!
  7. I have experienced this... Flying in formation with another hornet I was almost pararell and still having wake turbulence, thats not possible. However, the big ass planes behaves the opposite, flying behind a kc-135 or c-130 only causes turbulence at very tiny spots behind them no matter how close or far you are from them which is not correct...something is definitely wrong with this feature.
  8. Not sure if already asked but I would LOVE to have the antena elevation up/down key merged with tpod fov (zoom in/out) just like the hornet so we can use radar elevation and tpod zoom in the same 2 keys instead of 4 keys as now...I know this works when using an axis for antena elevation but I cant use an axis for this so I would like to do it with buttons. Thanks!
  9. I would love to merge the up/down radar elevation buttons and the zoom in the tpod because they are different keys so I need to use 4 keys in the hotas for doing somerhing that should take just 2 like in the hornet(i have no axis for this)
  10. Great!, I guess this is also what causes the landing gear to feel so stiff...thanks for the amazing support!:)
  11. That sounds amazing!, hope the artists have the time at some point to make it happen, looking forward to it!
  12. Any info about this please? it is not easy to read the symbology over the map. thanks!
  13. well, fair enough, it's your opinion but I think that, as Terrorban pointed, Deka already made an outstanding work systems wise in the early access so why not?... I'm not going to become a fighter pilot ever, nor this is the simulator to do it (nor any other) so when I fly DCS I not only look for "systems" but also for experience!! and everything that can bring some more inmersion and makes a more believable experience of being flying the plane is very welcome in my book...these "little" things add sooooooo much realism to the experience that I consider them "almost" as important as other simulation items. Looking at your wings and knowing the energy state of your plane just by watching them flexing/fluttering do adds for the simulation and the inmersion so, I want them if possible. For example you could not model the fluctuations of the analog gauges in the F-14 and it would still be a nice plane, but HB decided to make it and God knows how much believable the plane feels with these little big detail...this is another of these details, and details DO matter too.
  14. After watching the F-16 video showing this and after enjoying this effect soooo much in the F-14 I'm a bit jealous :P and wonder if there is some plans of adding this to the thunder at some point...I'm really loving this plane so I would love to make it as "feature complete" as possible :) thanks!!
  15. Guys, just created a post in the general DCS bugs section, you might want to take a look to the post and maybe attach you logs so this can be fixed eventually. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=4137070#post4137070
  16. thanks! I removed all mods and made a repair, can't cleanup files because due to install size I have all my skins in the main dcs folder and the cleanup wants to remove all of them so not an option for me. Anyway they were just skin textures what the cleanup wanted to remove. Also removed Reshade. The issue persist. Anyway, I'm not the only one with this problem, other people even report to have the issue in the model viewer so is not just an isolated problem, in case you are wondering. I even posted about this thinking that it was an issue only with the jf-17 but it happens with every single aircraft, take a look here: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=257548 hope it is useful. dcs.rar
  17. oh, thanks, I missed that post. bye!
  18. Just noticed during a ramp hot startup, that the angle of attack sensors in the radome of the plane are animated!, thats really nice :) ...however, I also noticed that they are moving when the plane is stopped and in a very odd way, like full up/full down inmediately. That also makes the horizontal stabs to move consequently, which is also very nice because demonstrates that they are connected as they should, in fact was the movement of the control surfaces with the plane fully stopped what made me realize that the sensors were moving. I dont thing is due to the ambient wind so...any explanation for this or maybe is just a little bug?...as soon as you start getting some speed it goes away but not sure why they are moving and causing the FBW to react. couple of images showing the 2 states of both things: (in the second one the horizontal stab has moved even though is not very noticeable in hte screen) bye!!
  19. I just realized that landing gear struts don't seem to compress enough in both empty and heavily loaded aircraft states (especially the main gear), at least according to many pictures of the real plane, it looks like the suspension reamains always in the position it would be when in the air, free of weight. It is also noticeable because the center line external fuel tank doesn't seem to be as close to the ground as it looks in real life pics, which is surprisingly low, almost touching the deck. The nose wheel hinge also shows a very relaxed state instead of a more flexed one. A few examples: Although I can see a really really small compression when adding weight, it is barely noticeable and at the same time, the suspension looks surprisingly the same as real life pics without any weight on wheels so I think it could be a bug or maybe just a work in progress: On the ground: In the air: it looks pretty much the same, which match almost perfectly the how the gear looks in real life without weight: Hope it helps in case it is not a WiP thing.
  20. Aircrafts models graphic glitches/corruptions At certain angles and espacially at noon, there are some severe graphical issues with most (if not all) aircrafts models in the game...as an example here is what can be seen:
  21. Yes, I have just tested with the Hornet and same thing happened, as strongly as with the thunder or even more...so ED bug I guess.
  22. Well it has been the case other times so I though it was also this time. Hope to get these jf-17 updates as soon as possible. thanks!
  23. +1000000000000000 I wanted the jf-17 updates...:glare: Having to wait for a plane to get updates due to another being postponed shouldn't be an option.
