  1. HI, Putting ON the FLIR. The litening HEAD rotate and we can see the lens (it's normal). but when turning it off it remains on it's position as if it is still powered. Thanks
  2. Good find Swiftwin9
  3. There’s no indication where the FLIR is looking on the HUD Bit there are some other symbology related to the Laser like : -Laser firing status indication -Laser inhibit Cue -laser to time end of fire indication
  4. Like the S-3 viking, they need to freeze the boom (remove the arguments) then assign them to the drogue movement respectively 42, 43, 44

  10. I don't know if someone is experiencing the same, but after the last update. I can't see the building until i'm very close. my load radius is set to max the same thing with the visibility range setting. Thanks

  12. Per you answer, what I don't understand is that since arc-210 exists in DCS. so why not have this option ?
  13. Great work! very useful. it's gonna be cool if we can get an offline version. thanks
  14. +1 - Inert rockets - Training Gun Ammo
  15. Later in development, they’ll taxi you to the catapult . And park you after landing.
  16. There’s no unique symbology to show ya where the FLIRis looking in the hornet. But there are other symbols related to the FLIR POD like: -Laser firing status indication -Laser inhibit Cue -laser to time end of fire indication
  17. yes you can slave the FLIR to the HMD, but there's no unique symbology for the flir to show ya where it's looking. but we can see Target designator diamond (not implemented yet). Something like:
  18. YUP, I already posted a video of VMFA-224 Cruise around 2003-2006 equipped with the litening POD during OEF . On their ddi's the FLIR page had all these options.
  19. +1
  20. Talking about Flir Hud symbology What about -Laser firing status indication -Laser inhibit Cue -laser to time end of fire indication Thanks
  21. The functions / symbology available on the Flir page while the ATFLIR is mounted on the F/A-18 I noted: -Flir operating status -Field of view option -Zoom factor option -Tv / light amplification option -Look point azimuth indication -Reticle display option -Different Flir Fov reticle ( designated/ undesignated ) and it should flash when Laser is fired -Velocity vector slave option -Altitude indication -Airspeed and mach indication -Declutter option -LST option -Horizon bar and velocity vector display option -Black and white polarity options -Gain+/- option -Level +/- option -Focus and zoom option -Automatic level / gain option -Look point elevation indication -Azimuth steering cue -Compass -Target range -Time to release and time to impact -Ground stabilization indication -Laser status indication -Laser inhibit cue -Coordinates MGRS display -Mark points indication Some Interesting options. I hope to see them one day On the DCS F/A-18
  22. Yup cuz it doesn't make sens , these options are primordial! btw it's gonna be cool if the DCS hornet will have the mark point display option for both litening and atflir like the A10C. the following screens are from vfa 131 with ATflir and Vmfa armed with litening. (From youtube - unclassified)
  23. IN 2003 it was the ATFLIR, if you swipe the videos back and forward you can see that it's an ATFLIR The ATFLIR we are getting in DCS is far more advanced than the Nitehawk, so i don't see why this options are not gonna be implemented and talking about the litening i posted some pics from USMC cruise back in 2003 video F/A-18D armed with litening pod where we can see the compass and the coordinates COORDINATES BLURRED OPSEC COMPASS OPTION ON
  24. here you go USMC F/A-18D back in 2003 LITENING POD COORDINATES (BLURRED OPSEC) COMPASS OPTION
  25. I have photos of the litening (USMC) I will look for them . if I remember correctly, the compass option was available too, a former hornet pilot told me that the compass was essential for CAS missions
