  1. We're well versed in Mi8 aswell.
  2. Give a ring when you need more copters. We focus on MiG but are also expanding a niche in CSAR. Our forums are below.
  3. Always will get better results releasing from steeper angle. The low altitude release brings many variables into the release...did I release pulling g's resulting in a long sling, and bank in ever so slightly also effects it.
  4. Greg, Are you still adding squad spots to specific airfields? My squad The Adversary Professionals are looking for 6-8 MiG21 slots in Maykop for the red side.
  5. Good excuse to get a joystick
  6. Icing isn't modeled correctly, There have been issues with the Sabre pitot tube freezing up in clear air. I've flown a Robinson IRL in cold clear air and never saw icing indications.
  7. Here's my Tacview from earlier today. http://adversarypros.proboards.com/attachment/download/40
  8. We have a flight school Syllabus with the L39C and plenty of experience in our new squad. The L39 gives us the ability to get an instructor in the back seat and give legitiment one on one focus. Current operational fighter focus is the Mig 21 with us picking up F5 and Fa18 when released. We have a teamspeak as well. http://adversarypros.proboards.com/
  9. We use the albatross regularly in our training pipeline, check us out. http://adversarypros.proboards.com/
  10. Try multiple aircraft if you have the modules, with a human flying in jammer equipped MiG on other team. You will get jam indications. The 15 it seems does the best job dealing with it, but in a flanker manuevering it prevented me from getting an stt. Tws was able to maintain for some reason. Have your buddy try different modes of jammer while you see the results.
  11. It does emmitt strobes,we tested it out for four hours last night. In impulse if a su27 is chasing u down it wont allow you to take stt until 14km. In the fwd qtr its not as effective. We were getting burnthru pretty easy and employing. If you really want to see effects you dont fly the-21. Your buddy does and you fly something else and try to kill him.
  12. Our squad is looking at using the ZA as an airborne forward air controller/ light attack aircraft. Does anyone know if its actually been used in this role? I suspect its really only used for traing and traditional strike missions.
  13. It has various effects against different radars. Been real interesting to test. Seems like it jams the best to your sides and rear.
  14. Been testing against SU-27. Forward Head on, its not very effective. On a chase down scenario, it held my lock off until 14 km. This was in pulse mode.
  15. Gonna test this tonight
  16. Anyone know if they're going to add the US Navy Ranges ought've NAS Fallon? Its on the top left corner of the Nevada Map and is the Navy's version of Nellis. Would be great addition to map especially with all the new Navy modules inbound. I think that's were Top Gun is too.
  17. I have no doubt it will be sucessfull. Its still flown by air forces around the world. My squad will start spliting our time flying as aggressors between the F5 and 21.
  18. Welcome Frisco, we're having a get together Fri @7pm Pacific. If unable just check the TS nightly to see if any are on. Cheers! Had a four ship MiG-21 tonight and a three ship last night.

  20. The Adversary Professionals were created in 2015 with a goal of becoming as proficient as possible in the DCS Mig-21 Module. A new idea within the DCS community was also pioneered, on demand adversary support to squads looking for human opponents. For newer members to DCS, we’ve capitalized on the capability of the DCS engine on two-seat cockpits. With the release of the L-39 we now have the capability to train new members up to the squad standard prior to sending them into combat. We’re currently developing a training system to get those interested in different modules as lethal as possible. This allows those who want to fly different modules, the flexibility to enjoy what they like. In order for the squad to become proficient there are many procedures that have been standardized, these are called SOP’s or Standard Operation Procedures. Each pilot knows them and executes them after training to them. In the heat of the moment, you know your wingman will be with you executing what he needs to in order to win. The members of the squad also enjoy to fly many of the other modules provided in DCS. This led to the desire to become proficient at Combat Search and Rescue (CSAR) in order to save pilots virtual lives when allowed for in missions. This was mainly executed using the Mi-8 Hip helicopter, but can be seamlessly transitioned over to the venerable UH-1 Huey. This mission set also leads well into troop transport and supply drop specialties. This makes the squad much more versatile in large scale online events. The squad has also recently picked up the DCS Mirage2000C and has begun the long process of becoming proficient at it. With this dual role capable aircraft, the squad can deeply penetrate enemy territory and lay hate on the enemy in the air or on the ground. The squad will continue to expand its horizons as new modules are released. Website and Forums WIP. If you want to help build the squad feel free to join the forums or PM. Cheers!
