Check us out, we are mixed throughout the US timezones and do dedicated L-38 Training. We also train and focus on the MiG-21 and F-5. We focus on everything you are looking for. If you have any doubts, ask those we have trained. I highly disagree with the statement on 4th Gen aircraft. There is a reason a military pilot begins in a trainer and uses a building block approach to flying and fighting. If you are not good at the basics which a trainer allows you to do with someone siting behind you, you will never reach your full potential. http://adversarypros.proboards.com/

Patiently waiting for the next round.....well maybe not so patiently.

Are you sick and tired of AI bandits on your squad's training night? Do you think a live bandit could be more flexible in help shaping your training to get what you need accomplished? Well were here to provide that too you! Check us out. If you need any recommendations find symetry or Ghost with the 65thvFS for referrals. http://adversarypros.proboards.com/ Check us out, register, post a request for our services. Jump on our TS evening US Time zones and start coordinating. Cheers!

Missed this myself, hope it was a hoot. -
Jupiter (OFAB-100) Bombing Technique?
viperdogsnake replied to Frost15's topic in DCS: L-39 Albatros
Hi Drag Bombs let you get closer and lower to the target, increasing accuracy. Play around with releasing just prior to overflying the target at 200 to 300m. -
I stand corrected.

Frag envelope info http://www.vipersinthestorm.com/html/weapons_bunker_-_page_1.html You release in a dive at 1500ft, you are still descending while you pull away getting even closer, lets say 1200 agl. Someone has their numbers wrong or its not fully modeled. If you think Im wrong google Mk82 frag envelope. More info. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=90805 If its really 9 seconds for frag to reach full horizontal distance then I urge you to time how long it takes you to get roughly a half mile away in that time. You might be suprised.
-
Did you consider the fragmentation footprint of a Mk82 at 1500 agl? Who cares about aaa if you frag yourself.

If your a fan of either aircraft and looking for lots of practice within the visual arena, check out our teamspeak. If someone is on, usually 7pm Pacific and on, they can make it happen. We can use the servers that are up, or put one up. We're a 21 and F5 squad so we can be the adversary for either platform.

F-5E TIGER II CAPTURE THE FLAG USING NEVADA ON SATURDAY (20:00 UTC)
viperdogsnake replied to Azazel's topic in DCS: F-5E
In, might have more. If you enjoy the F5 as much as you do, you should check our squad out (F5 and Mig21 primary aircraft). Ill see if we can put up more pilots for this. Cheers. -
IMO modeling the qualification campaign Soviet style would be a very nice touch. Modeled after US quals, not so interesting to me.
-
Wish I was available for this, someone in my squad should be interested tho!

DME will only be displayed as mentioned above. Many will complain that DME doesn't tell them squat, this is incorrect. I can see if I'm going relatively the same direction by a stable distance. If its increasing I'm going away from each-other, and vice versa if its decreasing. You can even use yardstick in a flight of more then two to get ranging to the lead aircraft. For an example: Lead sets 30X and the other wingmen set 93X. Both the wingmen should get their prospective distance to the lead aircraft, all this being Line-of-sight dependent. My squad, we've begun to implement it during every flight with the F-5 and it makes a huge difference. You hear the normal grumblings about having to set it before takeoff, but eventually they become total advocates.

Operation "Blue Flag" - 24/7 PvP Campaign - ROUND 8
viperdogsnake replied to gregzagk's topic in Multiplayer
How about Blue executing a amphibious assault from the Black Sea then pushing East. Then reverse it with Red getting a beach head. -
+1000, We will use the F-5e very much like we fly the MiG21. Hide in the mountains until the 4th Gen fighter is vulnerable.
-
If its made with a MiG Alley theme, we could bypass alot of the MiG a/g stuff, might get boring though.
-
My squad is still in for a minimum of prob 4 axis, need a time though
-
MiG Can carry 2 bombs and has the big 30mm cannon, Red will figure it out like we always do and rise victorious.
-
A good server doesnt need to include everyone all the time if it has a solid idea, that will likely only help the normal round, and no I'm not an entitled jackwagon, I just speak the truth for a lot of people waiting on Korea, and want a break from the same thing we've seen since WWII.
-
Korea will be fascinating and I venture to guess, those who see it in action might pull the trigger on those modules and get hooked.
-
You obviously have NO idea what you are talking about. BF WWII didn't cater to the whole community but they enjoyed it. Suck it up and wait two weeks for Round 8 and let those who've been waiting for a Korean theater have a week of fun, or better yet, buy the module and be a part of it.
-
Disagree completly on Korea, if you build it they will come! There is plenty of room for fun outside the F-15.
-
Mostly west coast usa with a mix of east and central timezones
-
My squad could likely put up 3-5 109/190s depending on time. We're 1.5.3 capable.

Thanks Cobra
