Just finished mission 4 but didn't really finish it. Said 60 percent complete but never got prompted to merge with the L-39's. Intercepeted the transport and was told to go back to waypoint 3 which I did, with no prompts. Decided to go to wpt 4 which put me across the ACL and was told to turn around. Went to F10 and found the L-39's and joined up on them as well. No prompt. Tried different green and red freqs as on the brief still nothing. Decided to go thru the rest of the waypoints, no joy. Looked to join up on the tanker, no tanker airborne and not available via communication that was on the briefing. Here's a link to the flight recorded on twitch. What were you expecting a full FBW aircraft to behave like?

Try the different radar settings aka ENT or whatever the bottom switch is on that button.

BFM Aggressor Campaign is out which is fun. MP is what really brings out the beauty of this module. Mig-21 versus F-5E is IMO the funnest matchup in the game right now.

Any reason why it always says K2 or A/G guns. Even if I hit the keybinding for A/A guns, i get the line symbology that follows my movements, but no K1 in the PCA. Pretty frustrated here.

Got killed for the first time in the campaign against the mirage today. Killed first one with a deflection shot after first merge. Second one I purposefully wanted to drag it out and see what happened. Lost sight for about 5 seconds and that was all I needed to get in a 3 minute defensive weave on the deck, a few gun rounds into me later I was done.

Not to mention he has the off-boresight helmet sight to shoot you off his wing.

The DCS AI isn't very aggressive when it has that T/W ratio advantage like an F4 or M2k does. Take it with a grain of salt, this issue has nothing to do with Maple's campaign and all to do with the basic AI behavior.

Patience is key, his higher t/w ratio will force you to use geometry to your advantage. If he's turning right in front of you but he's pulling away, aggressively go into lead pursuit to start managing the range.The AI will also typically make mistakes over a prolonged engagement. The problem here is you have five minutes to capitalize on this.

Same issue 150 kts blown left main with ADC fail. Those speeds are knots ground speed for proper reference. Altitude and temp can significantly increase grounspeed when compared to what your seeing in indicated airspeed. I still think something is off, this is happening DCS wide.

Flex should be the triangles in the sand just northwest of Las Vegas Intl Speedway. Nice visual checkpoint.

VORTACs reference magnetic not true. Map also is not drawn to scale, its meant to fit on your kneeboard card. Might also factor in.

Anyone getting stuck on the first ACT mission?. I'm getting two kills which are registering in the debrief but it will not let me pass go and go to the next mission. I've nailed the Departure and Arrival Back into Nellis and parked in the same parking spot in the line. 1st attempt no kills RTB'ed no issue. 60 percent, hit okay and wont cycle to next mission. 2nd and 3rd attempts two kills apeice, RTB by the numbers and still stick. Any ideas?

Part of the fam is to visually aquire and remember alot of these points to make nav easier. Point to point TACAN nav can be difficult at first, but with practice it can become easier. I recommend take a good hard look during preflight so you have a good idea of the departure and arrival. Nav can be tough with little hand holding but Sabre has made this as close to reality as he can. Prep is key.

Sabre-TLA, Whats the window for activation on the RTB in regards to hitting the waypoints? In mission two, nailed it on the way to the area. Gunned the instructor then RTB'ed. but must've missed the gateway exit by a few miles so the train was derailed at that point for finishing the mission.

He is yielding angles at every merge, patience is key. Ten degree bite on him first merge...2nd 40 degree bite, baam 4th merge saddled in. Use the vertical up or down to help gain angles. If you want to post a track I can take a look.

Nice job so far, only issue I've seen is your flight leads departure on the first mission, this might be based on him transitioning from lead to wingman and how the DCS AI deals with it, but he most definitely screwed up the FLEX Departure overflying the airfield at traffic pattern. So far really nicely done. Updated after 2nd mission: 10x10. Only thing I saw was the GWarm after calling Fenced In. Fence In means your ready to fight, not still waiting on GWarm completion. Besides that the training rules nailed it as well. Love to see you and Steve Davies together. The details, check-in, rogering up and work put in is best I've seen so far.Thanks!

Flyable but radar works half the time. We fly the Mig pretty exclusivlly along with F5. If you fly during peak US hours, you can check us out. Link is in my sig.

Cheaper, yes, but like I said building its a building block appch. Speed picks up as you move alone. Thats why many trainers have some similarity in avionics to the line fighter. It will ease them into what they will see but at half the speed. Never say never in the sim,yes, but in RL youd kill yourself real quick.
