Problem solved after complete reinstall of DCS.
-
This problem also occurs in 2D. Not only in VR. I just noticed that.

dcs.log F-86 mirror bug.trk

I'll try tonight or tomorrow

It really doesn't matter considering all the mess that ED has made.
-
But why buy FC 2024 when you have FC3 and the rest of the planes (86.15, F-5). It does not make sense.
-
And no explanation. Typical of ED. Embarrassing.

So the mossie is supposed to have 20mm tracers?
lipas70 replied to Gunfreak's topic in DCS: Mosquito FB VI
So we have to assume that for the Spitfire, no ammunition was loaded into the cannons with tracers, even if it was possible? -
Hi. Then why do the Mosquito cannons have tracers if they are the same model and possibly ammo like Spitfire Mk IX ?

[NO LONGER PASSES IC] Improved Contact Dot Spotting (Updated v1.1)
lipas70 replied to Why485's topic in DCS Modding
There is a problem with this mod. When the enemy launches the rocket, it looks as if a second plane suddenly appeared next to it (and sometimes a third one if it fires the second rocket). Missiles should be barely visible or not visible at all to the observer, especially at such a distance (5 - 10 miles). -
Hi. Is there something new or is the topic dead?
-
Unfortunately not. No "unofficial" mod passes IC.
-
Rather not, especially since you can choose bullets with tracers. I'd rather hear ED's opinion on this.
-
Hi. After last patch I don't have 20mm cannon tracers. I tested all ammo types and no result. Is this a bug or is it supposed to be?
-
Guys, take it easy. Let's not go crazy. I think our expectations are too high. What Barti did is more than good !
-
It's really hard to understand ED's resistance to removing (correcting) such a simple thing. Over the years, nothing has changed in their approach to the matter.
-
Is something going on in the topic?
-
I checked on the same mission (Normandy Spitfire Dogfight) one with clouds, the other without clouds. On both, there are flashes, each time at a different time and with varying intensity.
-
Given the rate at which ED makes corrections, in my opinion, no chance.
-
Try to disable MFAA if you are using it.
-
The worst part is that sometimes the entire mission will go smoothly and the next one with a lot of flashes. It is really difficult to pinpoint the moment and circumstance that starts to cause this. It is completely incomprehensible to me.
-
It probably makes a difference. Yesterday we flew with colleagues in the Caucasus (jets only). No flashes. Then a quick WW2 mission in Normandy and flashes like at a disco.
