Besides the obvious 'playground' or 'sandbox' missions I found a DCE campaign is great to generate missions. However you will get murdered by fixed wing and even the more pedestrian enemy targets are lethal to you. Difficulty is extreme

This is an issue we worried about before release. I don't know if it's as bad as many worried but it's bad. It's really hard to engage almost anything in game that has a weapon without extreme risk. Its a lot of fun but I wonder how many of these issues with ai they really can fix. Some things will probably never be modelled totally like morale effect. Hell even modelling splinters and shrapnel would kill processors

They're all over the f10 map. You can generally find 2 ndbs by all airfields. They have a cluster of dots pattern and usually are something like 360 MHz or whatever. You can put 2 and flip between them on the radio compass panel to your left. Theres two dials to input the frequency of beacons. Change the dial to comp. The skinny needle with a number one will swing to the beacon on your compass. It can bounce around a little in flight but steadies out. It doesn't have a range so you need to keep an eye on it.

I asked to give them a chance to sound less ridiculous. The F14 is retired, N - G is a multi billion dollar company. I doubt it's a major or high priority for them *at all* to make sure video game players get ANOTHER F14 version besides the three we soon will have.

This is great advice. If you just crank up the throttle and take off you'll get off but have a really strong yaw and control issues. I've found she goes right up nice gentle and smooth if you apply power much slower to get airborne

So the rotor heads server has SRS at 230 AM or 30 MHz fm. Can someone briefly say step by step how I'd fine to that so I can see if I got the right idea?

What's weird is launch pilot snars was the goto and suddenly stopped working.

Yes I tried that. What's really odd is using the OPERATOR dispense button now does it even from pilot seat?

Ok so for some reason my countermeasures just won't deploy anymore. I rechecked and my dispense button is the same - pilot snars etc Before they'd be available almost immediately or immediately after startup. Now they just won't dispense? I even have jumped seats and manually put it on I or II on the device. Any idea what I could be missing
