Yep, it worked out, but on some spots along the waypoints those both damn Hinds kept almost hovering just a few feet above the ground that forced me to hover right above them...however, I finished the Mission successfully on my second attempt today, the rest of the Mission is very fun and sometimes also surprising.

Still not fixed, the flight behaviour of the Hinds is awefull, absolutely unrealistic. That damn Hinds take any damn small hill to nearly slow down to hover just to gain speed and to stop again, its not only hard its absolutely exausting and causing motion sickniss in VR, it would be great if the Hinds would stick to a certain speed and hight that the Huey is able to follow..

I´m just about to Play this Campaign, have you already got through that Mission, or are you still stuck? I´ll have my first attempt tonight, wehn I´m back from work and will post my experiences in here after.

what I´ve noticed is that one doesnt line up properly even by using U if one doesnt line up nearly correctly in the first place...It happened a view times that I was set on the cat after pressing U but was shot over deck almost between the catapults...may be this is fixed already, I havent been flying in a while already.

Although I´m with you in this particular question, I´d highly recommend to delete the text of the second Post you wrote on page 6...Double posts are not really helpful. According to the question...I´m checking the Heatblur subforums each day for any news since the term shortly is a timeframe I consider somethings to be happen in the very near future...and this is the problem. This very near future furthermore depends on the developers schedule...So we wont get any better estimates or news until the release announcement will finally be made. I really hope that Heatblur wont stumble on any new problems that will push the release further back. you missed a definition for shortly :)...if soon means month, so shortly means weeks, doesn´t it? And (a few) weeks already passed by :D

It´s a different feeling of course, it flys low and slow and is capable to do amazing things, but what you definately will miss is speed. Its pure CAS, I own the Warthog since Beta which is almost 8 years ago. For the pure fun and the experience I´d recommend it to buy...yes, definately.

EDIT: So now I found out that the Thread really was merged, it was really confusing not to know what happened. Merging threads normally are somewhat more clear, now I´m good again. Evereythings fine now. To contribute to the Poll, I was for F-4 first of course...what else :D

OK guys, I´ve to admit that I´m a little "concerned" (nicely expressed)...who changed the Name of this thread and who added the poll? I´m the Thread Starter and I havent added either the poll nore I havent started any Change.org Partition also. The least I can expect is that I will get asked whether I´d like to see the poll added and the topic Name changed but noone did send me a PM asking me or something like this. So, who did that???? :mad: Not to get me wrong, polls are an interessting thing, especially in this case, but if someone is messing around in another ones thread without letting him know about this is an absolute nogo.

correct, imagine the timeframe from the announcement of the Tomcat until today. The 3D Model looked so awesome and so "ready" that it was hard to believe that it is not already released (or in EA at least) nearly 3,5 Years later.

The last official news was posted in 10/2017. Also since the merge the Belsimtek subforum was set to invisible for the users, so we rely on official updates now....I know that the usual sentence applies "News will be available when News are due", but this case is slightly different because its an former Belsimtek Project. I also know about the announcement of what A/C are in the pipe (F-16 etc.) But to be honest...this can be a matter of years. So is there any chance to get infos on whether or not the Team had Chance to take their hands back again on the Phantom? Thats a thing I´d (and I´m sure many others as well) really like to know.

How have you placed the two sensors to provide 360 degree capturing? Next to each other ( facing both Sensors the Gaming Area) or in front of each other (both sensors facing against each other accross the Gaming Area)?

Hat jemand von Euch schon mal die (Rift) Hand Controller ausprobiert? Beim Startup ist das recht witzig, beim fliegen später natürlich nicht mehr wirklich intuitiv. Schalter umlegen geht schon ganz gut, nur Drehwahlschalter bekomme ich nicht hin, funktioniert das überhaupt schon?

That sounds all pretty promissing, I really hope that it will all work well. The Impression that I had today when I was VR in the Hornet was simply a blast. I´m so exited what it will look like when I have proper VR ready Hardware...currently its not :)

Hey there, I´ve got a short question concerning Oculus Rift Connection to USB 3.1 only Mainboards just like the Asrock Z370 Extreme 4. This is the one that I purchased (not yet delivered) and now I wonder if the Rift/Sensors will even work on USB 3.1 ports as there are no USB 3.0 or even USB 2.0 Ports anymore. I also googled around a Little and stumbled about some Posts where Users told that it would work with 3.1 only, thus I would like to know if some of you guys have particular experiences with this may be with the Z370 Extreme Board as well.
