How have you placed the two sensors to provide 360 degree capturing? Next to each other ( facing both Sensors the Gaming Area) or in front of each other (both sensors facing against each other accross the Gaming Area)?

Hat jemand von Euch schon mal die (Rift) Hand Controller ausprobiert? Beim Startup ist das recht witzig, beim fliegen später natürlich nicht mehr wirklich intuitiv. Schalter umlegen geht schon ganz gut, nur Drehwahlschalter bekomme ich nicht hin, funktioniert das überhaupt schon?

That sounds all pretty promissing, I really hope that it will all work well. The Impression that I had today when I was VR in the Hornet was simply a blast. I´m so exited what it will look like when I have proper VR ready Hardware...currently its not :)

Hey there, I´ve got a short question concerning Oculus Rift Connection to USB 3.1 only Mainboards just like the Asrock Z370 Extreme 4. This is the one that I purchased (not yet delivered) and now I wonder if the Rift/Sensors will even work on USB 3.1 ports as there are no USB 3.0 or even USB 2.0 Ports anymore. I also googled around a Little and stumbled about some Posts where Users told that it would work with 3.1 only, thus I would like to know if some of you guys have particular experiences with this may be with the Z370 Extreme Board as well. Wow, Ihr seid fix Jungs, Danke für die schnelle Antwort. Die Sache sie so aus, ich hatte mir Vorgestern die Rift online gekauft und gestern abgeholt. Aktuell läuft sie noch auf meiner alten Seifenkiste (siehe Signatur), da ließen sich die Sensoren nur an den USB 2.0 Anschlüssen erkennen. Jetzt läuft alles wunderbar, OK Grafik ist etwas matschig aber ist ja auch etwas unterhalb der Mindestanforderung, nicht wahr? Jetzt habe ich etwas Sorge das wenn Montag oder Dienstag mein neues System kommt, die Rift und/oder die Sensoren vollkommen streiken. Also habt Ihr selber gute Erfahrungen mit USB 3.1 only? (Das neue System: Asrock Z370 Extreme 4; i5 8600K (mit Dark Rock 4 Kühler); 16GB DDR4 RAM; GTX 1080)

Oculus Rift un Asrock Z370 Extreme 4 Moin allerseits, kurze Frage. Da das Asrock Z370 Extreme 4 Board nur USB 3.1 und keine USB 2.0 Anschlüsse hat, frage ich mich ob es dann mit der Oculus Rift Kompatibel ist. Hat da jemand Erfahrungen? Danke und Gruß

Diese Handschuhe sind bestimmt der Hammer, genau wie der Preis...aber wenn man bedenkt, das dies ganz jungfreuliche Technik ist, ist es ein sehr fairer Preis. Die Möglichkeiten die diese Handschuhe bieten werden, sind bestimmt enorm. Ich bin echt mal gespannt.

Hallo, ich überlege mir einen neuen PC für die Rift sowie die Rift selber anzuschaffen. Im neuen System soll auch die GTX 1080 sowie ein i5 8600K sein, sowie 16GB DDR4 Ram. Die Frage ist nun, hat diese Konfiguration Einfluss auf die Darstellung der Rift z.B. Gegenüber einer GTX 980? Würde jemand von Euch generell von der Rift abraten? Ich habe noch nicht die letztendliche Entscheidung getroffen, ob ich das Geld dafür wirklich ausgeben soll. Danke Gruß

yeah, sure thats your good right, but it might be that it´ll cause a larger update every time you update DCSW, The updater is verifying installed files prior to actually run the update, dont forget about it. I´m not that deep into all the technical details of the Updater, so I can´t say whether its possible to make the updater ignore the missing Caucasus files...just saying. Apart from that I see no reason in deactivating caucasus just for the purpose of not having it. Except Discspace, but as I said above...

great, what I first thought what might have caused the Problem as well could have been a too fast set Carrier. If the Carrier ingame goes too fast so taxiing in it can be a real problem because it than feels like taxiing on a greasy surface rather than having proper grip below the tires. But you solved it, so have fun now.

Thats a real nice landing, makes really sense to practice that as well. I wondered why you havent had your lefft DDI set to HUD. The Velocity Vector and AOA Indicator in the HUD should have better been lined up in one hight with the meatball, thus you might have performed a perfect thrird wire trap :).But I need to be able to do that as well before I make noise here :D Now I need to train that as well :joystick:

Is this normal that HI Mode will totally been disabled once paddel switch was pulled? I was able to turn Hi and accidently pulled the paddel, from that Moment on I wasn´t able to turn hi again...its a bit odd. How can I make it turn Hi again? It also doesnt matter whether I set the Hook bypass on field or carrier, I´m no more able to trun hi. EDIT: solved the issue (Thanks to NATOOPS :) ). I had the launchbar extended, thats why HI Mode was locked

they had success downloading something...But What did they load? Probably a Gameversion that was already installed or somethings else, but surely not the required data. I recommend to close this thread now, cats are derailing the thread and we all know now (thanks to people apart from ED) that download will be available soon.
