This is pretty much correct. Black Shark 2 is DCS World only and has no connection anymore to DCS Black Shark Standalone. As Isegrim mentioned, you need to install and activate the original Black Shark, and then install the BS2 update module.

naja, ich meine damit Sachen wie die Bewegung im Raum. Ich hatte wie gesagt bereits die Möglichkeit gehabt beide Geräte zu testen als Freunde bei mir zu Hause zu Besuch waren. Der eine mit der Rift und der andere mit der Vive und einem Fetten PC. Es gab damals nur die Controller für die Vive und den Gamecontroller für die Rift, zu den touch controllern der Rift kann ich aktuell nichts sagen. Mich hat allerdings die Leistung der Rift in DCS mehr überzeugt als die Vive.

genau, allerdings wird das noch etwas dauern da ebenfalls ein neuer PC (bzw. entsprechende Komponenten) hermüssen. Ich werde daher wohl erst warten bis die zweite Generation der Geräte rauskommt. Allerdings hatte ich schon mal die Möglichkeit gehabt beide zu testen und ich muss sagen das mit die Rift dort besser gefallen hat (für DCS), aber was den Spaßfaktor an sich angeht fand ich die Vive besser weil sie einfach mehr VR Features bietet

Mal eine Frage an die HTC Vive Nutzer. nachdem Ihr nun die Vive wahrscheinlich ausreichend mit DCS geflogen seid, könnt ihr sagen das dies eine gute Entscheidung gewesen ist oder hättet Ihr Euch doch lieber die Rift geholt für DCS?

I might be wrong, but I believe to know that a one man Company has started the Mig21 Project and the guy was called Becel...I dont know, I might be entirly wrong, but that is what I´m remembering about the beginning. He made quite a good progress and shared lots of pics, but suddenly there was silence. Someone might correct me though

really absolutely no news that are worth mentioning in the newsletter that has nothings in common with WWII? Or is this a belsimtek only newsletter again that wasnt marked as such? anyways, the images are looking great and the B-17 FF is looking very awesome...has there been an official announcement about it? I cant remember.

I actually wanted to point to the discussion that took place there according to the content of the latest newsletter as that one was.....a little special so to speak. Again, sorry for confusion. EDIT: I highly suggest to follow my URL although ist not the "discussion thread" and read what Sithspawn wrote in the first post on this page...then you´d edit you post above...just a Suggestion ;)

what do you want? The thread is called Amazone Prime, its a discussion that covers several aspects of Amazone Prime, so all is good.

This is a common argument which is actually false leading. If it would really be that bad, so those guys would change the Job. Most of the kind of work that is to be done there has been evolved in so many places around the online market that it is actually not really a hard thing to change from one employer to another. The issue is actually another, the kind of work is so less payed in general that the amount of work doesnt fit the monthly income, no matter where you work, they simply have no lobby, just like nurses or rescue medics, hard work and less income.

I am Prime member since a couple of years as well, I really appreciate all the services that Amazon has to offer and I gladly use them, only thing one need to care about is not to return too many purchased wares, some customer has already been banned from all prime services including purchased media access like music or movies. As long this is considered Amazon is a great place to buy. Other side of the coin is that all the small stores are suffering under the great amount and pressure of those huge online warehouses.

hehehe, nice one...But. Even though my Nickname obviously refers to a certain Aera and a certain kind of aircraft. I can assure you that the meaning behind it and the reason why I´ve choosen it (long before I have even joined my very first Internet Community) have absolutely nothings to do with my favourized Orientation when it comes for Aircrafts. :) Ahh, forgot. I haven´t said that I´m hating them..I just don´t care and are not interessted...thats a different I suppose, isn´t it?

nobody cares about the Spitfire ****duck and running away****:D:D kidding, I know how much it is expected, but I absolutely don´t care about it and cant wait to finally read something more interresting about the Hornet rather than yet another new WW2 module where I am (personally) absolutely not interrested in. So I keep patiently waiting until the great day will come, which is hopefully not anymore that long ahead.

hey guys, just wanted to share my experiences with the Rift in conjunction with my (not so proper) Hardware. First, my PC setup AMD FX 8350 R9 380 @4GB RAM 32GB DDR2RAM 750 W PSU used Gameversion: 2.0 latest built. I did NOT purchased a rift, but a friend of mine who has on, did ö9visited us and thus I had a chance to test his device with my PC. Well, what shall I say. Although a R9 380 does not officially fullfill the recommanded requirements it works wiith my PC. The framerates are jumping between 22 und 35 Frames depending on the Area I am flying above. Huge Towns are pulling the Framerates down even more of course and the frames are not really fluently anymore. so basically to say, the Rift is generally working with a setup similar to my one, but it's not quite nice to play. But other games that do not require such a powerfull hardware might work quite well, the demos that are coming with the rift are working wonderfull.

correct me if I´m wrong, but isn´t 2.5 just some sort of "focusing on framework"? This process still belongs to EDGE imho, so ED is excatly doing what you want them suggest to do. The only Module they are working on in parallel is the F-18C, or is ED working on another Module simultanously besidesd 2.5 and the Hornet?

It´s fun to read those statements, what is the point of this? All I´ve said is that it should be normal that just a few words can be mentioned "officially" if an estimated goal can not get hold. Its no magic, as they obviously do this in the russian forum as well, so why not for everyone? THAT wouldnt hurt anyone, and if really some people would feel hurt after this, then those ones are wrong here. I can wait and I am willing to wait if I will get quality in return what ED has proven EACH TIME they´ve released a module...to point out my thinking in this matter.

Sorry, I cant second this. If a development Status is estimated to be available on a certain Timeframe and this particular Timeframe cant be hold so it should at least be normal to oficially communicate this to the customer base. This has somethings to do with courtesy imho. thats good to know that we arent the only ones who are recognizing this. This is really somethings that should be changed....best current example is the F-18 and 2.5 Situation.

it surly happend already, but it must'nt happen actually. Because this would make the reason for a changelog itself unnecessary. A changelog is not just a phrase with a couple of words that sound nice. Its a brief description of what has definately changed in a certain Softwareversion up to a certain level of development and the enduser can expect this to be valid and not left alone with "it could be".

Newsletter said that 1.5.5 will be released soon. Showstopers must be tracked down and fixed first, so no release date was set until now. EDIT: incorrect, 1.5.5 will be released soon to the open Beta, as soon as showstopers are solved in open beta, in will be released to the public...thats correct now :)

I dont care about factually correctness, I care about Facts. And a Newsletter is a fact to me, thus it is irrelevant whether or not we´re talking here about this due to the Translation work someone did, we are talking about things that can also been considered fake Messages and the Devs are now siting in their secret chamber and are laughing out loud because we stept into their trap. That was actually the thing I wanted to Point to in my Posts above. to make it short...there´s still hope that a release can suddenly been announced out of nowhere within the next 8 weeks, so crossing fingers
