did you try to create a new clean mission? Just one aircraft and one Support truck? Does this also apply for all aircrafts? (at least the SU-25 and the A-10, I dont know which Modules you own).

Any reason to buy this if I have A-10C?
MemphisBelle replied to Mattressi's topic in A-10A for DCS World
I can agree with that. I have flown the A for a couple hours the last days (from my FC3 Module which is the same as the standalone A-10A), and I´ve to say that I was really impressed. The flightmodels are the same as far as I can say it. The SU-25 have the same level of detail as well...and I really hope that the other fastmovers from FC3 will follow. -
A suggestion regarding control setup for DCS..

To Install BS2 upgrade you need DCS World installed on your Hard drive. In order to install the BS2 upgrade just do the following steps. 1.) Install DCS World or update it 2.) Install BlackShark 1 3.) activate and run the Game. It has been proven that one need to be ingame at least one time. 4.) run the BS2 upgrade installer and select the proper Installation from the Drop Down menu...you´ll know which one is the right choice when you read it. Once it is installed...have fun :pilotfly:

Hello Guys, My Gameserver keeps crashing a lot. I have the feeling that it crashes even more since the last update. I have attached the latest DCS log to this post. Do I have to add somethings else to figure what causes the crashes? I did not installed the latest Software via full download but with the updater...should I redownload the software instead of updating it? regards Memphis dcs_crashlog.txt

Discontinuing Weekly Updates - Please reconsider
MemphisBelle replied to Cobra847's topic in Chit-Chat
If it is really consuming too much time for ED to create such updates than having them each month in order to say somethings more worth, I´d agree to change to monthly updates...but this would be the only reason. If Wags would post here and would say somethings like he´s fine with the weekly updates, so I´d be very happy....but if he´d say that it would be a hard thing to "suck things out of his fingers" (german phrase) to say somethings at all, then I´d be fine with monthly updates. I hope you guys know what I mean :D -
Discontinuing Weekly Updates - Please reconsider
MemphisBelle replied to Cobra847's topic in Chit-Chat
Sorry to say this, but I´ve to agree with Kuky. The early creation of so called "discussion Threads" is sense- and worthless as everythings can be discussed in one single thread that is ment for the updates discussions. The mainstream of posts comes with the first days after the updates anyways, after 20 or 30 pages everythings important is sayed already and after this most of the posts are redundant, as there are complains, whinings and repeated praises. I for myself would like to keep seeing the weekly updates....I know that we wont have important or very interesting things, that we´d like to see, every week. But at least there is somethings. And one day we will get the information we are eagerly waiting for such as Nevada and F-18. Until then I am fine with the small steps, ED is making in the right direction. -
guys, remember that Wags is limited in what he can tell us as well. He´s not on the top of the ED Company and has to obey his supervisors orders. This means...if no news about things you guys personally prefer are mentioned so it doesnt mean that there´s no progress at all...so calm down and be happy that we get weekly updates at all

either this, or if you are using an Android based smartphone so go for the DCS Manager. This app provides everything important as well as the Runwaynumbers. Definately worth a look. +1 holy... this is awesome and definately worth a rep...well done buddy

Official ED Statement on the Wiki requested
MemphisBelle replied to MemphisBelle's topic in DCS World 1.x (read only)
thanks for the update, EB. I fully understand that this is a difficult situation. Please keep us posted about this, we really need the wiki back again quite soon. Otherwise we wont be able to editi all the new thinks in a proper timeframe as too much stuff would have been added to the software then...we are only a few people who are working on the wiki. -

This was somethings that I had in my head already but couldn´t realize since the editing function has been disabled. But as soon as it is available again I´ll care about that. -
Official ED Statement on the Wiki requested
MemphisBelle replied to MemphisBelle's topic in DCS World 1.x (read only)
I know about further plans about the wiki but cant talk about that right now, this is someones others job. I only would like to get a statement of the official Wiki Admin. A whitelist would be a good Idea, but as far as I know it is no more needed as soon as the plans have been realized...the question is when will they be realized since we do need the wiki. -
Official ED Statement on the Wiki requested
MemphisBelle posted a topic in DCS World 1.x (read only)
Hello, I want to ask whether I can get some official statement of the ED Wiki Admin about the plans on how to handle the wiki at all. The wiki is a very important place to share Information as well as recieving information, it also informs about current Game status information. But due to the latest Spam issue the wiki has been closed for editing for registered users. This means that registered users can log in to the wiki, but they are also no more allowed to add new information or handle pages and informations at all. But I dont want to complain, Spambots are now no more allowed to create spams. So this is a good thing...well somehow at least. Because it does not mean that there are no spam bots at all... The wiki has been closed for editing on 6th Of June. Unfortunately it wasn´t closed for creating new accounts. So the wiki is beeing flooded with roundabout 100 new registrations each day...since 6th June almost 70 days went over...so calculate how many spambots are beeing parked in the wiki database...correct, roundabout 7000 new registered accounts....and thats just a rough guess...it might be a lot more. So I really would like to ask on how´s the plan going on the wiki...I get the feeling that it has recieved a status of somethings that can easily been dismissed. I´ve recieved some information about what is planed, but since there are no updates I start to be a little concerened about the wiki. So again, I really would apreciate an official statement on how the wiki is about to be handled. Thanks in advance regards Memphis -
same here, the Raptor is nice, but I prefer the good old Tomcat. The Raptor has Power and all these nice technical specifics...but the Tomcat has a soul
