The F-18C early access is a mess... how can you derive any conclusion from it?

if the 95% number was true, and maybe it is... it's a damned shame. There's so much great gameplay to be had playing with friends... I'm hoping the f-14 helps change the single player nature of DCS.

My STT is hopping between targets much more than before patch. Lock time and retention while maneuvering are much improved, however... so IMO, that's a net improvement, bu stt hopping is a major issue in a furball. Gun pipper jumps around a TON (especially in multiplayer)... so much so, i don't even bother locking up targets... the funnel is much better. Not sure if working as intended, or WIP as well... or both?

anti armor? CBU-99 can't kill anything! (did some testing yesterday) I put 8 (yes.. all 8 of them i was carrying) of them into a T-80, no damage. (500 ft burst height) I could clearly see them exploding with the target right in the middle of the burst... I put 8 of them into a BMP... no damage... I put 8 of them into a shilka... no damage... what the heck are they good for?

Beating the dead horse... I want them to jettison because I think it looks cool... VS. I want them to jettison because the real F-18c could jettison them (which it can't). 2 different things, and this isn't going to happen.

What do you think the chances of us getting a patch tomorrow are?

Correlation does not imply causation. If you can figure out how to switch to the open beta of DCS, then you can click a link to join a discord channel then mute yourself and everyone else. Requiring discord is not affecting multiplayer numbers. That aside, there are plenty of people joining the DDCS discord that do not speak english. They can either mute themselves, or join a room speaking mainly their language. This happens frequently. I've joined rooms and they're all speaking russian or french... which i think is super cool. Hell, there's no better way to learn a language than to immerse yourself in it.

1/2 the community does not fly multiplayer... his statement was completely wrong. No. That is the ask of this thread. We would like a truly dedicated server that can run on proper server hardware.

Was announced 6/21, no ETA yet. It only said "soon"... whatever that means.

good call on the repair. However, in real life, aircraft do run out of fuel. Just because it does not happen often, doesn't mean it doesn't happen. I do agree, however, that this should be a low priority fix... as if ED cares what I think should be priorities LOL just in case they do, helmet slaving radar please! :)

I've had that too. I've also had it say "auto pilot" after i override the g-limiter...

I had this happen too. I think i bound a joystick button to comm 1 to initiate contact with AWACS and it went to guard.

I got the TWCS throttle yesterday, and when I tried to assign the F-18 TDC axis to the TWCS mini stick, I can't select it the TDC axis in the controls setup. Is this still broken / not implemented?

He specifically said he would pick a plane up for a second then lose them... sounds like aging is at least part of the issue, especially if he's going to run around using a 6bar scan. It takes almost 18 seconds to complete a 6 bar scan, so aging is definitely coming into play.
