If you are lazy then don't bother, it's pretty in depth. Easy to fly, not so easy to operate at first. I have had it for years and I still fly it everyday.

Personally I am tired of dev's dumbing down games, they have become extremely boring, and attract the type of gamers you would not want to introduce to your family or your dog. The only game I play anymore is DCS because it's still challenging in many ways, also the community is pretty intelligent, although community is not what it used to be, but it's still ok. The other worry is that if ED decided to make dumbed down versions, I have feeling the high fidelity ones would suffer. That's my two cents on the subject.

You could set an aircraft, like say the E-2D on the ramp with a hot start and put a truck in front of it, it shouldn't move and will transmit the TACAN, not sure If that is viable or will even work, it should though. You could make it look like it is being serviced I suppose and put some infantry near it.

Does anyone know of a way to monitor the F-18's engine RPM's to use as a trigger, for example, if engine RPM's hit say 65 a flag will be set to true.

I used one of the miz files with the layout done which I downloaded from the user files, then added an armed speedboat group of 50 units, moved them over the statics and saved the armed speedboat group to a template, seems to work ok.

At first I thought my throttle was out of wack when I noticed that.

I use the csel to help line up the runway for landing, quite helpful, especially at night, it's the only use I have found for it so far.

No, I never used it that way before, I will give it a try, I normally load it up, make the changes and close it. Edit: Thanks Snacko that worked, didn't realize I had to run it in the background now.

For some reason I cannot get the kneeboard to resize, I can resize it in the app but it shows the standard size in the pit. Is there anything I can do to sort this out?

Hey Ron, this happened to me when my throttle wires broke inside the throttle. Does it only do it in the Hornet?

Could be Telkom and their infinite stupidity causing your problem, maybe manually add a DNS server and see if that works.

4th gen i5-3.5, 16gb ram DDR3, 1070 ti 8gb, 1080p, doesn't run smoothly on high, only medium to high, no msaa. I am hoping upgrading my ram and cpu will smooth things out a bit.
