  1. Not semantics, you right. I never been in those pits so learn something every day. Thanks
  2. I did that to someone in Decimomannu Air Base. We where doing a run, the run guy ask me is he was clear to run up, I did not see anything behind us, he run up the engine and a door one of the hangar behind us flew open and a saw a lot of papers fly around in that office and a lot piss up people.
  3. You ever had new guys forget to duck below the exhaust? It was always funny seeing them get thrown down.
  4. It's cool to hear how they did it in other air forces. I think is crazy seen guys walk between the front of the wing tanks the intake, that was a big no-no for us.
  5. You guys pulled the pin at launch? For us it was done at End of Runway (EOR) by the weapons guys (like Bunyap Sims). To be honest, I never thought about them ejecting on the ground. The joy of beign 19 years old and ignorant I guess.
  6. I forget, you guys only had the two buckets on the jet, the rest where on the pylons (MAU-12)?
  7. Looking at the photos they have in that link, it does not look like they have taken the time to make it match the real aircraft. For example the seat did not have a center d ring for ejection, the only aircraft that has that is the F-16, the front panel is wrong, the angle of the IRADS screen is off, no drag chute handle. The panel below the HUD does not look like that ( the old one did AFAIK) The weapons bay door are opposite ( they opened to the inside not to the outside as posted in the link). The panel behind the main landing gear strut is to big and shape wrong. The FLIR is not right, the NWS actuator is to small. I don't think they where trying to hard, most of this stuff are easily found online.
  8. We had one in Al Uded come back with holes on the ventral. Pilot did not even know he had been shot at. Talking about flares, you ever had flares bounce of the bath tub or donut panel (4305 and 4409) and leave scorch marks? I hated that, takes for ever to clean those off.
  9. I just can't believe it made it back. Imagine recovering that?
  10. Direct link to Accident investigation board PDF http://www.airforcemag.com/AircraftAccidentReports/Documents/2015/102014_F16C_Kansas.pdf
  11. That is still a lot of knowledge. You know how the basics work. You know what PDU is, an ISA, EPU etc. The idea, I think, is we all work together is to provide ED with filtered information so they can narrow the specifics. So when someone ask about a system, you can see it an clarify: "No that is from an A model, or no this is after "X" ECP/update.
  12. Notice how little the sticks moves, this will be very hard for ED to simulate with all the different joystick we have on our PC EB9KjdLclh4
  13. Thank you but there is no need to apologies, it take a lot to offend me and I no longer work on F-16 and I am far from an expert. I am just a fat guy with internet connection now. I wasn't even a good F-16 crew chief. There many other here far more knowledgeable than me. ShadowXP, =Panther=, Calli, Chandawg, Bunyap, just to mention a few. Thank you, just hoping to be helpful. We need to get C.W. Lemoine and Deuce here since they actually flew the thing are are far more qualified than me.
  14. Mkev, We ( as in the community) had all these F-16 conversation about version and such. Look here https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=160730 Lets leave this thread for the DCS module
  15. Th Falcon, Come on man, we are going to loose the thread over opinions base on internet gathered info. This thread is about F-16 module, not F-35 personal opinion which is what we all have unless you fly them or work on them.
  16. You work on the F-16 as well and you know as much as I do but thank you Thank you and ED, I am so looking forward for this Is not that they are release "fraud", is just the F-16 updates a lot and different countries updates at different rates with different equipment. So if you have a USAF block 50 photo circa 2005 and a video circa 2007 there are going to be differences. Trying to think of an analogy... Give over 20 people a car, 10 years later offer to those same people to update that car for x amount or a new one for x + Y amount. At 20 and 30 years do the same. 40 years later, do you think those cars will look the same? As for my background http://www.f-16.net/crewchiefs-profile586.html
  17. There you go, but you might want to check rule 1.16
  18. 78-002 Block 1, perfect
  19.:lol: It is the same link is been posted 3 time already, it is not accurate.
  20. Yes, block 30 cockpit is different than block 50. Panels are in different positions, different panels (exterior lighting, flight control, HSI, IFF, KY-58, Oxygen panel, Avionic Power, CMDS, Radios, etc). Not only panels change by block, they also change over time and from country to country. As for the other stuff https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3799781&postcount=183
  21. Example, each country will have a slightly different color, not sure why. USAF is a blue/green color. HAF has an amber color. SixYwbkrJ1A?start=999
  22. Trim panel and ADI have NVG compatible lighting now, In the USAF is a green color. It was part of the NVIS mod.
  23. All the panels shown are for F-16A
