  1. It moves about a 1/8 of an inch (3.1mm) I don't see how will they model this differently. I guess I don't understand your question. Could you elaborate?
  2. That is only found on updated A models. I do not know what it is. But if you see it, it normally means the photo is from an A model F-16. So you are comparing a A model (could be block 10 to 20) to the DCS F-16 block 50 after CCIP circa 2007. Yes, they are going to be different.
  3. That is an Israeli F-16 in the photo, Also note the camera installed behind the chaff and flare buckets in the right strake. The camera was installed to record store behavior during flight. So this is a test aircraft. We are getting a USAF F-16 block 50 after CCIP circa 2007 in DCS.
  4. I worked on USAF F-16 From 1997 to 2012. Never saw LAU-88,never saw weapons crews train to load it in load barn, never saw any load competition to load them. When deployed or TDY it never carried it.
  5. M5.1+ did not come out until late 2008 or 2009. The latest we can have is M4.3+ if they still with a 2007 versions. M4.2+ would be the more likely one.
  6. It was doing that before they carried the -120 on station 1 and 9. I did that once a week on Luke in the late 90 with a impact driver and a hammer. Until we dip the screws, I think we use B1/2.
  7. The typical response is to help with wing oscillation that happens at certain speeds and AOA on the F-16. I never seen an official explanation. Meaning I never seen a manual break it down. Interesting enough, Any missile on the wing tips (AIM9 or 120) is consider a no drag penalty. Also the launcher have to be installed that is why even the USAF Thunderbird still carry the launcher.
  8. No matter, I was not sure what you meant that is all.
  9. But the video did not even show F-16 carrying the GBU-39
  10. Cool thanks
  11. Here is an example http://www.f-16.net/f-16-news-article1706.html The picture is label as a block 50 from Shaw but I cant tell since I do not see the tail number.
  12. Did the USAF block 50 carry it in 2007? I'm asking because I have look for pictures from Shaw, Misawa and Spangdahlem and can never tell the year.
  13. This is exciting. :smartass::lol: 03C4tnCFEMQ
  14. I agree Mad-Mex To me it will also be the first module I won't have to memorize what switch does what.
  15. AFAIK, non of them are legal, unless you are Government employee or contractor that requires those manuals. For more information you can see Air Force Instruction 61-204 DOD instruction 3200.14, 5230.24, 5230.25, and 5200.39 I am sure there are more regulation I am unaware of.
  16. Looks like Holloman AFB are getting the old Hill AFB F-16.
  17. AFAIK, they flew block 15 (A and B), 15 ADF, 25 (C and D) and 30, but never the 52 https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3881431&postcount=1228 https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3895282&postcount=1281 This should be a list of the F-16 the flew http://www.f-16.net/aircraft-database/view_airframes_byadvancedsearch/acshort/F-16/fy/0/plant/0/status/0/version/0/program/0/airforce/0/unit/11354/deployment/0/displayteam/0/actype/F-16/startnum/1
  18. I got that wrong PBG and the g vest ( combat edge) are two different things.
  19. AFAIK, Was not used until around 2010 and USAF stop using it around 2012. My guess not since they plan a 2007 version. IIRC, the system was called combat Edge.
  20. Good aviation books - Bury us upside down:The Misty Pilots and the Secret Battle for the Ho Chi Minh Trail - Misty: First Person Stories of the F-100 Fast FACs in the Vietnam War - Fighter Pilot: The Memoirs of Legendary Ace Robin Olds - Flying Through Midnight: A Pilot's Dramatic Story of His Secret Missions Over Laos During the Vietnam War
  21. Panther, If we get trap fuel on the external wing tanks, (for example if we are on AB to long and the internal wing tanks empty before the externals) can we get the fuel out of the external tanks or will the fuel stay trap?
